Just watched Greg Cosell on One Bills Live. He offered some good perspective. First off, he agreed with Steve that the Bills were not mentally in the game, which obviously hurt. He is concerned about Brown on the right side but not panicking. He loves Van Demark. Says he didn't have a bad play. He played LT for 4 years in college. Question is if he can play on the right side. He also loves Gouraige and was surprised he went undrafted. Also said he didn't have a bad play in the game. Defensively, he thinks that Klein will get the nod at MLB because of his experience. He eventually thinks that Dorian Williams will end up on the field because of his athleticism. He loved him coming out of Tulane and has been impressed with him in the preseason. He also commented on Shorter. Thinks he's going to be good.

Eric Wood said on his Twitter feed that he wasn't as down on the oline as many of the fans. He said when you are used to playing against a 4-3 D it's hard to transition to blocking against a 3-4 unless you game plan.

He was referring to all of the offensive penalties that killed any momentum they were beginning to mount.

Actually I think he was commenting more on how both players at MLB yesterday handled the defensive calls. He added they played hard but there is still much work to do there.

The good: No injuries to the starters despite Pittsburgh playing like they really wanted this game. The bad: Penalties hurt the Bills repeatedly.

Well I see this board is in midseason form. Relax folks. This is the first preseason game for our starters. It's the second for Pittsburgh. The penalties are what's killing the Bills.

Steelers played their starters last week. They are a bit sharper at this point.

I'm getting bonus coverage. For some reason WNY is suddenly in the Giants market so I'm getting the Atlanta v Bengals game. Watching the Giants game on the NFL App. Atlanta was in the red zone and there was obvious pass interference on the Bengals that wasn't called. Ball got tipped and picked off.

I know they are not considering Dorian Williams at MLB. With the injury to Bernard though, I am very concerned about Dotson in coverage. It was just wishful thinking, especially since Williams played MLB at Tulane.

In truth, I'd love to see Dorian Williams and Milano on the field at the same time at LB. Outside of calling defensive plays, Williams looked solid when he played versus the Colts. Since we only play 2 LBs...technically there really isn't a MLB. So...I think Williams and Milano reflect the two most athletic LBs. If possible, have Poyer or Hyde call the defensive plays.
