  1. Isn't that what Josh always says? They want to go 1 and 0 each week.
  2. Doesn't surprise me. I think it was needed. That team was not playing tough. Too many mistakes. Lack of discipline. I was concerned when Pribula left for Missouri. He brought a physical element to the QB position, even in spot duty. Allar did not develop under Franklin and got worse. It's a shame that he's injured, but the team was going nowhere.
  3. It's not a matter of liking or hating cities. The Yankees have a long, proud history of great players and winning championships. Many were long time Yankee fans before the Blue Jays became a team. Many of the Blue Jay fans here are fans because of the affiliation with the Buffalo Bisons. There's also the fact that the Yankees and the Mets are both NY teams, just as the Bills are the only NY team. Personally, I'm a Yankee fan and am disappointed by the Yankees season ending. They were beaten by a clearly better team. The Blue Jays played championship caliber baseball. Best of luck the rest of the way.
  4. That's my point. I think Benford's regression is linked to the weakness in other areas.
  5. I'm not worried about our D line. I think this really demonstrates how poor our secondary is. I don't think the plan was for Tre to man the position. But injuries to Hairston and now Strong have hamstrung the Bills. I'd like to see them work Hancock into the secondary. It functions as a unit...only as strong as its weakest link. Right now, the weak links are Tre and Rapp. If they can eliminate one of those, that would certainly help.
  6. I was on BCBS when I first signed up for Medicare Advantage. That morphed into Highmark. Last year I learned that my Primary Care doc would no longer be in network. Fortunately, her group provided a link to an online broker that provided all the available plans that would still contain her group for 2026. I compared the plans, as well as network hospitals, dental, pharmacy and vision. I ended up selecting the United Healthcare AARP plan for NY. Transition was smooth and the dental and vision allowances were better than Highmark. I got the renewal notice of plan changes for 2026. The out of pocket max was increased slightly and some of the copays for ER and hospitals, but premium is still the same (zero) and routine copays are the same. I did see that UHC is discontinuing coverage in a few states, but NY is not one of them.
  7. Williams doesn't have a neck injury. His was a knee and he may be practicing this week. Strong has the neck injury and is seeing a specialist.
  8. Why was the Jags receiver heading to the ground on that pic? Saw it on the replay. Did he trip?
  9. No. Diggs was that good. Maye was okay and looked good because of Diggs
  10. In addition to WR, the Bills need to bring in another corner. With the neck injury to Strong and Hairston on IR, we need to bring in a CB2 who can provide decent play. Tre is no longer capable as a starter, and the Bills don't have anyone else...unless they are willing to work Hancock at the corner position since he does have experience at outside, inside corner and safety at Ohio State.
  11. Tasker was talking about that today. In the second half, the Pats used the same formation with a two back set and then used those backs to help block the edge defenders. With our DT woes, the Pats trusted their inside o line to block the inside rushers to give Maye a clean pocket. That was the difference in the Bills ability to generate pressure in the second half. Diggs had months to get open.
  12. Definitely agree with you. Look at the difference Diggs made for the Pats. Without him, the Pats don't move the ball. We have a bunch of 2's and 3's at WR not a number 1 who can make the 2's and 3's effective by drawing coverage while making a big play here and there. Last night revealed it most clearly.
  13. The Pats won because the Bills chose last night to play their absolute worst game of the season on offense and the Pats were able to take advantage of the Bill's injuries on the D line, LB and CB. Still...with all that...the Bills lost by 3 points. They have benefited by being horrible enough to draft early in rounds, have a lot of cap space and finally a GM that knows what he's doing.
  14. I think part of Brady's stratagem of everybody eats, he's also stuck on "everybody plays". He says he doesn't do that, but it seems to me he tries to get playing time for everyone, irrespective of whether or not they are producing when they are on the field. We need to play our best 11 on offense and use the backups only when the starter needs a blow or is injured.
  15. Or having fewer flags thrown even when you do commit the penalties. Hoculi does this to the Bills every time.
  16. The Bills had more yards, including rushing, more time of possession, more first downs, and more 3rd down conversions. BUT, they also had more penalties and more turnovers. That was the difference in the game. They...with the help of Hoculi...lost the game. Diggs was huge for them. He was huge for the Bills when he played here...just not in the playoffs.
  17. The turnovers killed us tonight. Josh's INT in the red zone was critical.
  18. Never heard that, but I had an acquaintance that was a huge Browns fan. The Browns had two first rounders that year...1st and 4th. They selected Baker at 1 and Ward,CB, at 4. He told me the Browns were sold on Ward...but at the time, they weren't sold on Baker.
  19. Yes. I thought the Ravens should feed him, but the Texans are not afraid of Cooper Rush so they're stacking the box.
  20. I'm still yanked that Daboll didn't play him against the Chiefs.
  21. Well, now, without Lamar, the Ravens should feature Henry more. He has something to prove due to his fumbling woes. Not a bad option.
