NFL Network broadcasting Bills/Chiefs game replay right now.

Actually what was more puzzling was the run play before that put the ball on the right hashmark. Prater prefers kicking from the left. Had the ball been on the left hash, Prater may not have hit the upright.

You're giving Brady way too much credit. He's not using Cook to his potential. Before this past Sunday he was getting only 52% of the snaps, being removed from the field on 3rd down. He finally was used on 3rd down in the passing game this week! As to Shakir, and other WRs, how many passes are behind the line of scrimmage? The constant criticism on this Board is that Brady is limiting this offense not because of the talent, but because of his schemes. So I respectfully disagree.

Shaheed will likely thrive in Seattle's offense because of Smith-Njigba and knowing the offensive coordinator. Here, you are likely right. Brady wouldn't use him to his potential.
-
Chiefs fans are a bit perturbed that Chiefs wouldn't part with a 3rd round pick for Breece Hall. They apparently offered a 4th and the Jets wouldn't budge.

I don't think it's hubris. Had the Bills been able to stay healthy...particularly on defense...fewer folks would be complaining. As to our offense. Our two losses were a result of Brady not using Cook. Hopefully the balance we saw offensively on Sunday carries forward. Having said that, I do believe that Beane genuinely tried to acquire a top-notch player. Unfortunately, the main seller was in our division and in the other rumors we heard about , the players weren't ultimately available.

Schefter said on ESPN's draft show that a deal he was following up and pursuing fell through at the last minute. I'm wondering....

Jeremy and Joe were talking this morning about how Brady uses wide receivers so even if a stud were brought in, Brady would minimize the impact. That got them to thinking that perhaps D line should be the focus.

Asante Samuel Jr, cleared to play, talking to teams

He'll end up on the Pats. -
Actually, Sal Cappacio talked about this on his Extra Point Show and spoke of how Poyer is having a positive effect as a mentor to Bishop.

People try too hard to lampoon McD's timeouts. The game was already stopped because of Hoecht's injury on 3rd down. I think McD called the timeout after he saw that KC was going for it, and likely wanted to settle down the defense in light of losing Hoecht. As someone said, Bernard bit on Kelce and left the middle wide open.

Yamamoto should be MVP. He was the difference. Roberts put the game in the hands of his starters pitching in relief. Schneider trusted his bullpen...

I just realized, the Pats have their bye week in week 14. Guess who they play after their bye? -
10/26/25 GAMEDAY Bills at Panthers 1st Half game thread

The clock was already stopped. McDs timeout didn't help the Panthers. -
They get everybody injured. Raiders were missing their playmakers on offense today. It's sickening.

I agree. Indiana is playing good football. Smart of them to extend Cignetti. I'm a Penn State alum and could not have been more disappointed in their season. I knew when Pribula left for Missouri, the offense would stumble. Allar is not that good. He's not mentally tough. Sad to see his season end the way it did. I'm not surprised they canned Franklin. Hopefully, Indiana can give OSU a run for the conference.

Roster Moves Being Made (Could Be Nothing)
jkeerie replied to Dick_Cheney's topic in The Stadium Wall
Found my error. The punter position has changed so much, I selected the wrong "yellow" for the "fill color" so Wishnowsky wasn't being counted. -
Roster Moves Being Made (Could Be Nothing)

Yep. And I found a formula online to count cells of a certain color. So I have the 53 color coded to Yellow background color. I use that formula to keep track of the 53 on the active roster. So I'm suspecting a formula error, where I may have been missing a cell leading me to count 49 vs 50 active. -

With these moves, based on my spreadsheet, the Bills now have 49 on the active roster. So we have room for 4 players. Hoecht and Ogunjobi, Hairston are likely adds. Who's the 4th. I suspect Ciarlo will be re-added to the PS I'll have to recheck my spreadsheet formula. The Bills app says they have 50 on the active roster. -
Can everyone just take a freakin breath?

You are exactly right. Both the defensive and offensive coordinators need to be taken to task. Babich may make adjustments in the second half...but why does it take an entire half of bad defense to make those adjustments? It was clear as day that zone secondary was NOT working versus the Falcons. So go to man sooner. Why wait? As to Brady...the Bills have two offensive weapons that are stellar. Josh Allen and James Cook. So why is Cook only playing 52% of the snaps? Why is he not on the field on 3rd downs? Brady is playing around trying to look clever. Stop it! Get back to the formula that works...run the ball, give Josh outlets to counter the blitz. The downfield plays will develop when defenses have to adjust. Finally...we need WR help. Period end statement! Coleman looked like he was developing early in the year. What happened??? Why the regression? One or two pieces get injured, and the whole thing falls apart. If you are missing a key piece...use the key pieces you have left. Don't take them off the field. It's early. Things can be fixed...but actions need to be taken.
