  1. Yes. The Bills had two time outs left. I was mistaken in another post that I thought we had 3. They used the one in discussing the FG when we were at the 2 yd line. I was just happy McD didn't use any when the Bills were on defense.
  2. Detroit loses its OC. Of course Johnson had a lot of options, but now he's in the NFC North.
  3. He also said he wasn't told of any injury. Also Benford took a hit on the onsides kick play.
  4. Good for them! Not sure if he'll be a good HC but it weakens a divisional opponent.
  5. And McD did not use a defensive time out in the 4th quarter, Correct? That's a first! The Bills would have had 1:33 and 3 time outs.
  6. All they did is criticize Josh Allen on his turnovers for so many years. They said he cost the Bills games etc. Lamar gets a pass from many of these same pundits. On Get Up today the only two that would not let Lamar off the hook was Booger McFarland and Damien Woody. Orlovsky did state that Lamar's fumble was a 10 point swing. He then mentioned the fact that Josh, when stopped at the goal line on 3rd down, did not try to pitch the ball back to keep the play going. Something he might have done in earlier years. Booger especially spoke about how some players come up big in big games. Lamar and Andrews did not.
  7. Besides the weather, they played a Detroit D that was missing a ton of players. Goff couldn't have played a worse game.
  8. If Stafford makes it to another SB, it will rub salt in the fresh wounds of the Detroit fans.
  9. Stroud is no Daniels.
  10. As I recall, Seattle got hosed by the refs that SB.
  11. That's why I hate trick plays. You've got a good offense. You're moving the football. Stick with your bread and butter plays.
  12. He sees them beating themselves, which his teams never did.
  13. I was screaming at the TV for Williams to stop celebrating until he was in the end zone!
  14. That's the same ref that called the RTP
  15. That means Balt. DBs will be holding all night.
  16. I think the intent was for Josh to run, but they boxed him in. So he improvised.
  17. I think the lack of WRs on the Penn State team really held Allar back. Outside of Warren and the RBs, he had no one really to throw to this year.
  18. He had improved this year over his freshman year, but today he reverted. He needs to stay in school. He has a lot of maturing to do.
  19. Notre Dame is infinitely more likeable with Freeman as coach versus that arrogant arse Kelly. ND was my Mom's favorite team (mostly because of Regis Philbin.). So even though I was pulling for my PSU, I don't feel bad losing to the Irish. Allar played poorly right from the beginning. I always know if he's "on" from his first few passes. Not last night. So, I will be pulling for the Irish the rest of the way.
  20. Allar would be wise to stick with his initial decision and return to school. He's young and needs more maturing. Tonight proved as much. As to the title game, I think ND would have a good shot if the opponent were Texas, but not OSU.
  21. Congrats to the ND fans. I was pulling for my alma mater, PSU. Not a good night for Drew Allar. Wasted a good effort by the defense and Singleton. Allar was off from the beginning. ND made the plays when they had to.
  22. My alma mater, Penn State, prevailed, although there were times I thought the OC was trying hard not to win. Defense played well. Boise State played a good game. PSU needs to straighten out the offense and the penalties. They won't get by either Georgia or Notre Dame with those stupid trick play calls.
  23. Aikman played behind one of the best O lines surrounded by the best receivers, RB and TE. Would he have been "great" playing with less?
