Hopefully Beane learned through this year's playoffs that the Bills need to provide Josh with more weapons to put more points on the board. Signing high priced vets to make a "difference" especially older vets...doesn't provide the difference you need to win.

The Chiefs have won 3 SBs. I think it needs to be remembered though, that two of those SBs were against the same team...the 49ers...coached by Shanahan who has a penchant for poor coaching in the SB. Mahomes is great, Jones is great, Reid is great, Spags is great. You cannot downplay the collective quality of just those four. However...it was Shanahan and the 49ers. So...there you go.

When the other 3 panelists reminded him that Hackett was still the OC on the Jets...and that it was a disaster when the two of them were on Denver...he still thought it was a good idea. Hannah Storm ended the segment thanking Tannenbaum for the good laugh!

I don't know what "these narratives" you are talking about that are bogus. I'm also not saying that the Bills are hampered by play calling (especially since Brady took over) or that Allen has been at a disadvantage. Not having an advantage is not he same as having a disadvantage. The Bills receivers this year were not as good as they have had in the past and in the playoffs they dropped passes and did not execute. That is not a disadvantage. That is not adversity. That is bad football, and you cannot expect to win in the playoffs when you play poorly and do not execute.

You are making excuses as to the Chiefs weren't good this year and other years and yet they still win SBs. You are also basically saying that Mahomes has had no advantages in his career whatsover. Where he has had more than most. This in no way negates his individual talent. As to his receivers...the point was all the miscues they were making all season which you point out, stopped in the playoffs. I'm complementing the team. They played great! Mahomes is great! According to Shanahan's presser, the problem was Wilks was working with the SF defensive scheme previously run by Salah and DeMeco Ryans. Wilks...not coming from that system...was not as successful. There was a disconnect.

Okay. This is where you're becoming a Mahomes apologist...making excuses. What you're citing is the norm for any team in the NFL. No team is perfect every year. The truth is Mahomes has been given more than most if not all. Chiefs have had no competition in their division...so they make the playoffs every year with Mahomes. The key is that despite flaws exhibited in the regular season, the Chiefs show up and show out in the playoffs. All those "weak" WRs played well when it counted. And Jones it could be argued is the best DT in the game. He's a real difference maker.

NFL players deserve some down time. I don't begrudge them playing some golf in the off season. Plus...perhaps playing with Tiger he can receive some mental pointers regarding steadiness in the face of game adversity.

You can't discredit Mahomes. He's a great QB. Would he be this great if he had been drafted by Chicago in 2017? I think he'd be the kind of QB we're used to seeing but probably not with 3 SB rings. Winning the SB is a collective...you need the right combination of QB, coaching etc. You also need to be healthy and play your best on that day. KC's execution vastly improved in the second half vs SF. SF failed to execute when they had the opportunity to build a bigger lead.

I doubt it, especially with Jones. He held out at the beginning of the season because he wants Aaron Donald money. He has proven he deserves Aaron Donald money even more than Aaron Donald! The same with Snead. They will go with whoever offers the most money. Once players have the rings...and they know they are a big reason as to why the team won the ring, the money becomes a huge priority.

I was largely disappointed in the SB commercials this year. There were a couple of touching ones, but the ones aiming at humor were just not that funny. There is one commercial I've seen recently (not during the SB) for Kayak that made me laugh out loud when I saw it.

This is spot on! Mahomes gets the credit. He's a great QB...and in the first half...because Kelce was buttoned up, he was ineffective. In the second half, when Kelce got open, Mahomes was suddenly the greatest again. Kelce is the real difference maker on that offense. Chris Jones is on the defense. And Shanahan was the weak link on SF. He does this all the time, putting the emphasis on passing the ball, even when running the ball was effective. His play calling after the interception was awful. SF needed to be up by a wider margin so that fluke plays, like the muffed punt, wouldn't be so critical. KC has won 3 SBs...two versus SF under Shanahan. Enough said. The Chiefs are the champs. Give them their due. However, it's not like they are annihilating teams. Their wins are by narrow margins, and it usually involves a lucky play or two.

Butker should demand a huge raise! You could argue he is just as valuable as any TE, WR, or defensive player. And he should hold out until he gets it!

I also think with older players they press more knowing that the seasons for them to win a championship are fewer. Younger players play looser. They know they have more longevity in their careers.

They have only 43 players signed. Their free agent list includes Chris Jones, Snead, Tranquil, Gay, and a number of others from their starting defense. So they are not awash with cash. Yes...the Bills have more free agents...but they need to get younger and build through the draft...and play those players so they develop!

I agree. I'd also like for McD to not rotate as much on the D line so our best players are in the game most downs. I think players develop more of a rhythm with less rotation.
