  1. That's a good thought. Also bowl games are important. If they play their best in big games, that bodes well for the player's ability to turn it up a notch when they have to.
  2. https://www.buffalobills.com/news/top-five-things-to-know-about-new-buffalo-bills-wr-justin-shorter I don't understand the drops. According to the above, he dropped only one time on 114 targets over the last two years.
  3. Glad they got someone big for the outside. Anyone who would play the slot would take away from Kinkaid's opportunities.
  4. That is not what I heard when listening to the presser. He said that he did not have a first round grade on all four WRs taken ahead of them, but did not specify which ones. Based on the OP, likely they had a first round grade only on Addison and none of the others.
  5. A rational, well discussed evaluation of the Bills picks by someone who has real knowledge of the players and the game. Much better than all the venom spewed by folks who just want to criticize without possessing real knowledge. I was at a party last night and missed Day 2 of the draft, but had I been watching, like you, I would have taken Sanders or Simpson at 59 and gone oline in the 3rd. Having said that, the Bills obviously felt the value for Torrence at 59 was too good to pass up and I'm not going to criticize them nabbing a first round talent to add to an Oline that was desparate for improvement. In truth, I don't know much about Williams, having sparsely watched Tulane's games, though watching him in the bowl game vs USC, I immediately took note! We can only wait and see what the Bills approach will be with their LBs especially in the middle. Many criticized Edmunds for missing tackles and being slow reacting to the pass. Williams seems to be the opposite being a solid tackler and reacting well to the pass. So...I think the Bills roster has definitely been improved thus far this draft. I'd like to see WR and DT addressed with the remaining picks.
  6. I was going to post this and you beat me to it. I absolutely love this!
  7. I think last year showed how few real weapons the Bills had. McKenzie was a liability most games. Without an effective slot, Josh looked to go down field and behind that oline, it was problematic.
  8. Mayer was more complete if you consider blocking...but Kincaid is the better receiver and route runner. Plus he will be a matchup problem for defenses...much like Kelce is for the Chiefs. I expect our offense to be more creative.
  9. Yes and Giants said they were moving up. Also they did not have first round grades on all the WRs taken...though Beane would not specify who.
  10. No they are not!
  11. Listening to Beane's presser...Kincaid was the only player on their board left in the first round. They knew Dallas wanted him and had they not been able to jump Dallas, they would have traded back. Kincaid is a player they don't currently have on their offense. He will create matchup nightmares and can dictate coverage. They didn't draft him to be a blocking TE. This is a great pick!
  12. They wanted Kincaid. They got the guy they wanted!
  13. Screw the "experts" and the opinions on this board. GMs puck who you want to pick when you want to pick 'em. You're making this draft interesting!
  14. Love that Skoronski is comped to his grandpa!
  15. I love it when the draft goes off script.
  16. Especially with gimmicks.
  17. They still have 33.
  18. The Texans just cleared the stench of the Chiefs on the stage.
  19. Happy for the Texan fans. This was bold!
  20. Someone said Texans would trade up yesterday.
  21. I'll take the over. Never bet against the Lord.
  22. Well...since Greenie is on the ESPN broadcast I think I'll watch ABC and NFL.
  23. I already hate this draft!
  24. Only a half hour show here. Jeopardy is on. Tomorrow night WKBW has their show at 7:30.
  25. Just turned it on. Thank you for posting!
