We were all upset about the way we lost in the playoffs last year! Why is anyone surprised at this? It looked like half the team didn't want to be there and weren't putting out maximum effort. If that is what bothered Diggs, then good for him! As to McD's comment about being "concerned, " sometimes McD speaks globally...i.e. he's always concerned about all his players. In this case, he should have said nothing.

His press conference was very refreshing. Diggs was genuine and very straightforward and honest in his interactions with the press. He's been painted in a negative light with people making all kinds of inferences. It was a non-issue really. He hated the way the Bills lost last year to Cinci and, because McD has an open door policy, he wanted to talk about it. That's all it was. He said it is now "water under the bridge."

The snow didn't start until the 4th quarter. The Bills scored 11 pts in the 4th for the win.

Thad Brown the first to be offended by Josh

I agree. Their job is also not to CREATE the news...which is happening all too frequently these days. -

What a bonehead play by the QB. Throw the ball away! -
I don't want them to fail. They were a much better network before bringing in all these ex-sports figures. They were fun and objective. I still remember when they used to cut up and laugh uncontrollably when something absurd happened. Who was the guy that lost it when Carl Lewis sang the national anthem? Charlie????

Part of the problem with ESPN of late, which makes it less enjoyable to watch, is all the bias among commentators. I won't watch the morning shows because of that bias. Mike Greenburg is insufferable with his Jets fandom.

Thanks for posting this video. What a hoot! That's exactly what this board has become. You used to be able to come to this board and have a balanced discussion...positive and negative. I think a lot of the more balanced posters have gone. Even the callers into One Bills Live have become more negative. It's tiresome and draining. We all want the Bills to win. We all crave that Superbowl. Tearing things down...which is the solution proposed by many...accomplishes nothing, except 17 years of drought. The team isn't perfect. Competition is getting stiffer. Changes have been made this season. Let's see how they play out. Then we can have a further discussion.

Speaking of media, here's exhibit A of a lazy, bad trend.

Maybe not, but if Volin reached out to him (maybe he saw his interview with Tyler Dunne) I don't think he'd turn it down. -

It wouldn't surprise me if the source is still Isaiah McKenzie...even though he is no longer a Bill. He's never hesitated talking to the media and offering his opinion as fact. I think it made him feel important. -
None of us are pleased that Diggs is not in attendance. None of us were pleased at the way last year's season ended. In truth, it looked like the team wasn't even trying...especially on defense. So Diggs...who never quits...walks away from that game with bad feelings, a lot of anger. The fact that Diggs showed up in WNY and met with Beane and McD indicates to me that he was ready to express his feelings about last year and how it ended, and what he believes are the steps necessary to get past it and move forward in a positive direction...and FINISH. I'll withhold any further judgement. Anything beyond the facts that have been confirmed is pure speculation...including my post. Let's just take a breath and wait and see.

In my opinion, there were two main problems with last year's offense: 1. The offensive line and 2. Isaiah Mckenzie. We've improved the offensive line...at least the quality of players. Getting rid of McKenzie is addition by subtraction. He could not be relied upon and, I believe cost us points.

I don't believe KC was. Bills and KC were pretty even. By the end of the year Cinci was better. It would have been a better gauge had we played them at the beginning of the season, when the Bills were healthy.

I totally agree with this. Another thing that has impacted this team in the playoffs the last couple of years as been the defensive scheme. One thing I noted about Frasier in Buffalo and when he was in Minnesota was that he became less agressive as the season wore on. I think he saw the margin of error becoming less and less as the season went on, and thus coached more passively. He coached not to lose, rather than to win. I think of it as coaching scared. I'm hoping we see a less conservative approach with McD calling the defensive shots. We'll see.

Bills/Chiefs week 6 on NFL ntwk right now

That was Frazier in my opinion. He's always coached scared in big games. Too banged up. Every game you prayed we wouldn't lose another starter. -

This game shows why McKenzie was let go. He was such a liability. -
He seemed to be returning to form late in the season.

This was the topic of discussion today. A lot of callers expressed their frustration about the NFL dispersing their product over all of these paid subscription services. Younger callers didn't mind so much as they stream and watch on their phones. Older callers were the most frustrated. I am older, having lived through the TV antenna days of my youth, then moving onto cable, doing Dish at one point, back to cable, and now streaming. I use the Spectrum App on my Apple TV and Roku and have found this quite easy to do. I added Apple + after having a free 12 month subscription that came with the Apple receiver. I like their original programming, particularly when network TV is in rerun stage. I got a free 12 month subscription to Peacock for one year through my Spectrum subscription, but dropped it afterward. I added Amazon Prime video when Thursday Night football migrated. I like a lot of their programming as well, so have stuck with it year round. At some point you have to draw the line. There is so much available on so many platforms (Netflix, Britbox, Paramount, etc) yet you can't watch it all. If I have to pay $4.99 to watch a couple of football games, I may or may not. It used to be that we called the cable companies greedy. Now all the streaming companies are getting that way, because they want subscribers. The NFL is a draw, as Amazon learned and now Peacock wants to follow. I learned from a Spectrum rep, that after this last contract, the YES network will no longer be available on cable or through the Spectrum App. Now that YES is it's own platform, for $24.99 per month, they want Yankee fans to subscribe directly from them. My brother is a huge Yankee fan and he is strictly cable, subscribing to the sports package at Spectrum. I'm wondering how he's going to react to this news. He just this year got a cell phone as his kids made him get it after the latest blizzard knocked out his power etc. I don't know that he'd ever go to streaming tv. He's a couple years older than me and is very old school. He probably would have had trouble with the wheel.

They just mentioned on One Bills Live that you will need a Peacock premium subscription to watch the game. It will not be on the free tier. They also had a bar owner call in that said they don't have access to the Peacock games to show to their customers. There is no mechanism for them commercially.

Not impressed with the trophies...especially the MVP trophy.
