  1. I can't believe people in Indiana boo'd Luck. Talk about a complete lack of class! That said, there are people like this everywhere and they do not speak (or boo) for the majority.
  2. I kinda hope they keep only 5 WR's. Other than Brown, Beasley and Jones, our WR's are all backup caliber players and can easily be replaced. I'd like us to keep an extra RB instead.
  3. Quick! Trade for him! We need him back! Just kidding.
  4. No 1 person stood out, but I thought Shaq gave a very good effort. Shady was excellent.
  5. John Brown> In AZ he was overshadowed by Fitzgerald and in Baltimore he was not well used. He doesn't have to play 2nd fiddle to anyone except maybe Beasley. This should give him more opportunities. He's still just an average WR with great speed, though. I hope Edmunds makes a HUGE jump and Allen too. I have my fingers crossed.
  6. I'd like to see them add room for a 4th RB and a 4th TE. Why 6 LB's when we spend 70% of snaps in a nickel with only 2 LB's on the field?
  7. Maybe Bates is a decent backup, but why such lavish praise? He certainly hasn't earned it yet, nor has he earned a roster spot yet.
  8. Foster is gone, I'd guess. McCloud is probably gone too. As far as Williams goes, he's had a decent preseason, but he's had several shots at the NFL and did not impress. I don't expect anything from him this year, but I'll hope to be pleasantly surprised.
  9. If Allen is "starting" to prove the doubters wrong, could you ask him to speed that process up? I'm tired of waiting for this team to finally competitive again instead of the NFL's punching bag.
  10. If you can make a trade that makes our WR corps better this year, then go ahead. Good luck with that.
  11. A close game with relativey few run yards for either starting unit. Oliver makes a couple good plays as his hand work continues to progress. A solid game by Allen, but not off the charts. J John Brown is mvp on O. Hyde is mvp on D with a pick and a couple more replay-worthy plays. Wade has a good play, but has a bad one that underlines his inexperience. Singletary does most of the damage for the Bills' run game. Knox has a couple nice receptions. T Murphy plays well too.
  12. Different coaches have had success in the past by holding starters back and giving them a healthy dose of contact. Also, McD did a much better job of game management in his 2nd year, plus we can always hire game manager assistants like other teams are starting to do. These problems aren't serious.
  13. Well, we have a lot of pretty good players. What we need now are a handfull of elite players at key positions. QB and RB (Allen, Zeke) sounds good. DT and S (Hyde, Oliver) sounds good too. I'd kinda like to see what we have in Singletary & Wade first, though.
  14. Kiko is an average LB. They're paying him too much. His only really good season was his rookie year with us.
  15. Robert James is so far underrated it's laughable. Oh well, he only played 7 years before that ugly knee injury. I'll never forget seeing his leg snap and letting out a long groan. He was my favorite Bill. Still is.
  16. I don't know what the ceiling is for either of them, but I believe they will both be pretty good. Knox has great speed for a TE, so if he can develop his route running and catching, he could be our #1. I also heard from some pundit that Sweeney had the "best hands in the draft". Kroft is a decent TE also. Croom is definitely gone unless he really steps it up because roster spots will be tough to come by this year as I suspect that the bills will be calling Wade up to the 53 man roster at some point in 2019.
  17. A lot of the new FA's on our OL came to us on the mend.
  18. That was the best performance I've seen from Josh Allen since he was drafted. I've been one of his biggest critics, but he really impressed me in this game. He made accurate, well placed throws on a consistent basis. I never saw him do that last season. Even many of his completions were poorly thrown. There were really only a couple bad passes in 11 attempts against Carolina and Beasley caught one of them anyways (his 1st catch). Brown, Beasley, Sweeney, and several other receivers are playing well and we haven't even seen Knox play in a game. Don't dismiss Knox either. He has exceptional speed for a TE that can also block well. Never mind the media hype one way or another. Trust your eyes. We're going to be releasing some pretty good players at the final 53 man cut. What we need to add or develop is a couple of superstars on both sides of the ball. We need one on the pass rush and one to shut down guys like AB and OBJ well enough to win. We need one in the run game and one in the passing game. 4 in all. Wade or Singletary could be the answer for our run game. Shady could have a big year. This offseason is looking better all the time.
  19. I see a very bright future for this young man if not in 2019, then 2020. Singletary looks good too. Could we be a more balanced team? Who knows?
  20. You can't rely on a QB's legs to win consistently. He's only going to get hurt if he runs so much. I'd like to see a HUGE boost in his accuracy and less running. The rest is just a matter of learning.
  21. His grade overall is a C. He's an average DE. He could be better, but like so many Bills did under Rex, he didn't work hard enough.
  22. We'd better make sure our offense is firing on all cylinders before we trade picks. Ideally, those picks will bring us the 'game changers' that you need to win.
  23. Given his very considerable skills, I think they'd be crazy to let him get away. He's a project for sure, but he was a star in the European rugby leagues. Why not here?
