  1. Let's hope so. He's only been successful in GB. He's been a train wreck everywhere else except maybe Syracuse.

I don’t think that center is a massive need because the presence of Ryan Bates on the roster. I think he is good guard and a really good center. I think we need one high end interior linemen to replace Saffold who has been terrible. See what Jenkins cost with his extension, that upgrade will have to come either by trade or the draft imo. Both Brown and Bates should be backups. I'm not sure why anyone thinks either of them is any good.

They’ll have a high first round pick which is the perfect spot to get a quality Guard. I agree, but this assumes we've already addressed RT. I also think Bates needs to be replaced. He's not terrible, but he's still subpar. The Bengals and Chiefs addressed their OL problems and it has paid dividends. We also need a WR2 and slot receiver, but our OL is a LOL and should be top priority. No to Conklin though. He's overrated.
  4. I don't hate Dorsey, but he needs to do a little better. The way I see it, he's a rookie coordinator and should get better. I'd like to see us get slightly less risky when we have a big lead, but our run game isn't what it should be.
  5. Just make the OL and WR our top 2 priorities this coming offseason and 2023-2024 will be his best year to date. If our run game is as good as our pass game, Josh will play with a clean pocket. I do think he doesn't process or see things quite as quickly as other elite QB's, but his athleticism more than makes up for it.
  6. Turns out everyone at PFF doesn't hate Josh after all. I'm mildly surprised.
  7. We're good, but between the OL and the injury to Von Miller, we are vulnerable in the trenches. Philly and SF are very strong in the trenches and could be a real problem for Josh if we can even get by the Bengals and Chiefs. We can't play like we did against Miami and beat any team we are likely to play from here on out. I hope the players and coaches are up to the task.
  8. Milano too. Otherwise I think the OP nailed it.
  9. The general idea is that when bad things happen you criticise and when good things happen, you praise. There was a lot to both praise and criticise today. Why is this so difficult to grasp?
  10. Great write up. Motor and Gabe redeemed themselves today. Most of all though, we really miss Von! Hats off to Shaq for playing well, but he can't replace Von Miller. I sure hope #40 comes back at full strength. Every opponent we face going forward will be good enough to win the SB unless Baltimore beats KC. We need to clean it up. No more fumbling the ball all over the yard along with 2 picks. That won't work any more.
  11. 1. OL 2. WR 3. Power RB 4. TE depth I want to see a much better run game so it's not all on Josh all the time. A team with an elite QB and elite RB is a nightmare for opposing defenses. They can win in any climate. They can sit on leads or come from behind. They can also endure injuries better. If the Raiders were dumb enough to let Jacobs go, I'd LOVE to see him in Bills blue in 2023.
  12. Both Edmunds and Milano played well today, but to me, Taron Johnson was the game ball winner. He is underrated.
  13. I know AJE started out well, but frankly, Shaq is playing way better. Granted, Lawson isn't special, but he does make plays once in a while. AJE has been invisible lately. Has Shaq been starting? I haven't noticed their snap counts either. Sorry if this is old news, but I'm overseas and sometimes the internet isn't available Also, if you're abroad, NFL-Video.com gives you full game broadcasts for FREE after the games end.
  14. Josh does things no other QB can do, but ball security is still an issue for him. The thing that just kills me is that he almost never wraps up the ball or puts 2 hands on it when he takes off with it. That's on the coaches. I'd make him run laps every time he takes off while carrying the ball at arm's length with 1 hand. I'm not suggesting this as punishment by any means. I just think someone needs drive that point home so it becomes a habit. It's one thing to hold the ball up when you're looking to pass it, but once you decide to run you need to squeeze it against your body. I know Josh will always throw more picks than other top tier QB's and maybe he can clean that up a little, but there's no excuse for many of those fumbles. It's just sloppy ball handling. He needs to play a much cleaner game against Cincinnati or our season will end in the divisional round again. They won't let us get away with so much sloppy play. The OL needs to step up too.

On 1/10/2023 at 5:53 AM, NeverOutNick said: The Score's Jordan Schultz reports that the Cardinals plan to trade DeAndre Hopkins this offseason. i’ve been telling my buddies for the last month that if we could just get DeAndre Hopkins to be our 1b to Stefon Diggs 1a we would be set at receiver next year. Gabe Davis can then flourish as the third guy like he used to. And we know DeAndre Hopkins has some of the best hands this league has ever seen. Then the draft would be Offensive line galore with a sprinkle of secondary help ______ It really would depend on his price because we need OL help now and OL often need time to be quality starters. I do want this draft to net us some serious OL talent, but I will be mildly surprised if we don't sign at least 1 very solid veteran blocker. That's what Saffold was supposed to be, but it looks like injuries have taken their toll on him. Maybe not though. An accident free offseason might allow him to rebound a bit. That rib injury certainly didn't help him any. I guess it just comes down to who's available at what price in FA. I can't predict. I also don't see us trading away any day 1 or day 2 picks.
  17. If the Chiefs win, I'd pull as many starters as possible. I don't think the difference is worth losing any starter for an extended posrseason.
  18. And the hits just keep coming. Sad news. I always liked Murph.
  19. The 1st seed gets a bye. No chance to lose to a playoff caliber team, less wear and tear, more time to prepare for round 2 and greatly reduced risk of injury. Those the real advantages of 1st seed. Playing at home isn't much of an advantage compared to all that.
  20. The major problem is that we might be forced by the league to play on wild card weekend. The league will screw this situation up and make it even worse than it needs to be. If I were a player, I wouldn't be hiding my disgust. Watch us lose a key player in a game we shouldn't even be a part of and all these knuckleheads will be making pathetic excuses like "Life isn't fair." or "It was bad mojo." I hope we win the SB just to spite the league.

They will figure out who gets seeded where based on week 18 results...and some team(s) fans may not be happy but the NFL will do the best they can. And every team and fanbase involved will live with it and be OK. I won't be ok with it if the league doubles down on us. Not at all. They need to do the right thing.
  22. I'm ok with this as long as they also decide not to strip us of the #1 seed with no recourse. This assumes that we beat NE. It shouldn't matter what KC does with the Raiders. It's fair and the NFL is in full control. They made the decisions up to this point. Their work is not yet finished. Do the right thing Goodell.
  23. Sure. Let's shoot ourselves in the foot. What would be the point of this self inflicted wound?
