It doesn't really matter what people think of your team after week 3. It's what they think about your team after week 17 that counts.

Josh Allen is going to have a down game or two this season. It's inevitable. But that's ok, because I'm confident he will make adjustments as they are needed and learn from those down games. One day he will be a savvy veteran and he will be very difficult to fool, and by that time he'll be carving up the league because he will still have all of his elite physical abilities.

The entire Bills team is pretty bad on Madden. All the simulations have the Bills finishing with a losing record. As far as ratings upgraded on a weekly basis, I don't think they usually have crazy swings, do they? If they increase Allen 1 overall every couple of weeks he'll be pretty good by the end of the season. I think he he should probably be about an 80, with room to increase throughout the season if he keeps playing well. So I don't think his rating is super low. He's on the nice list, so that's good.

Seems like they should have a limit...

Ryan Fitzpatrick: Hall of Famer? or First Ballot HoFer?

He isn't a backup QB, though. He's the starter. -

That's hilarious -
You do have dirty players, so you have that going for you. "If you can't beat em, take out their knees."
-
They are in full defense mode. Wow, they must be getting a ton of criticism.

I think this is sarcasm. Jets fans hate their team right now.

TNF: Dolphins at Jaguars, 8:20 on NFLN
MJS replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah. I picked Miami to win after seeing how good they played against the Bills. I think they are more legit than people realize. And Fitz is playing the best ball of his career right now. If anything, their performance against Jacksonville should add a bit of legitimacy to the Bills beating Miami last week. BTW, I was the cheerleader for "The Dolphins still suck!" brigade in the off-season. But I was wrong. The Dolphins are at least decent. -
McD vs. McVay: Revisiting the 2016 matchup
MJS replied to IgotBILLStopay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
McVay is a great coach, but he sometimes thinks himself into circles. McDermott still has a lot to prove. Should be a good battle. I FULLY expect Daboll to dial up a couple trick plays this Sunday. -
John Brown added to the injury report

Arrogance? What are you talking about? The bills just got investigated for not having a player on the injury report last year, so they are going to put everything on there this year, even if it is minor. I'd say get over it, but it sounds like you made up your mind about McDermott long ago. -
Tripping is against the rules, so yes, the announcers were correct.

The Jalen Ramsey Foot In Mouth Thread

I don't really care about that stuff. I just legitimately enjoy the game itself. All the extra drama is just noise to me. -
Who is better? Josh Allen or Gardner Minshew
MJS replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Josh Allen. Both of them. -

Wow. You let that bother you? I like it, personally. I want him to say nothing of substance to the media. His job isn't to entertain you. He is paid to win games. The business as a whole is entertainment, but that's not the head coach's role. -
I really liked Mahomes, but I was a little concerned with the whole "air raid offense" thing that everyone always talks about. I liked Mayfield, Darnold, and Rosen, but didn't like Allen, but looking back I think I didn't like Allen because all of the draft analysts were so down on him. I also didn't want anything to do with Jackson, for a few reasons. First, I didn't want another running QB. I was sick of Tyrod and wanted a gifted passer. Second, Jackson had a poor pro day, in my opinion, and I also thought he handled the pre draft process really poorly, including having a terrible wonderlic score. I just felt he should have been better prepared for the draft, but maybe he wanted to slide so he could go to a better team. He landed in a perfect spot for him. I still wonder how sustainable his style of play is and whether or not defenses will adjust over time, but so far so good. He does have to prove it in the playoffs, though, which he has failed at twice now. I'm happy with Allen. He convinced me his rookie year after the Vikings game and after that week 17 Dolphins game.

So many good young qbs in the NFL right now
MJS replied to Whkfc's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There was definately a talent vacuum there for awhile. The last few years have luckily brought in some more talented QB's. -
Could Mahomes vs Allen be the next....
MJS replied to TwistofFate's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd like to see Allen win some playoff games. Can't be considered elite until you do that. -
Let's hope Allen follows Mahomes and is the MVP this year and a Superbowl champ next year.

Updated MVP Odds: Allen is tied for 9th

He shouldn't be, but he is. Pretty silly, if you ask me.
