  1. Ok, but that KC game was also pretty bad conditions regardless of temp. Allen does not seem to be the bad weather QB we hoped he would be. Maybe that is still something he can improve on. But most games aren't bad weather anyway.
  2. I think this is going to be a challenging game. And I would not be surprised to see the Steelers come out extremely motivated.
  3. Yeah, it was that stretch of games where it was windy and rainy. KC, NE, and maybe the Jets?
  4. I still like Singletary and I'm not willing to give up on him after one down season. Haven't really seen much from Moss, but he is also a rookie. I'd say if we were to add a running back (in the off season), I'd want a speedster.
  5. I mean, is Tom Brady any different? He has verbally accosted coaches and teammates on the sidelines MANY times, and sulks into the locker room after losses. Yeah, he usually keeps his cool with the media, but Brady is not a likable teammate at all. Seemed to not deter him much through his career. Big Ben has called out his own teammates over the years and seems pretty selfish and me first. He isn't much of a leader. If Murray is good at playing football it doesn't really matter all that much. Yeah, it would be nice if he was a leader and boy scout, but not necessary.
  6. If Daboll deserves a head coaching gig, he should absolutely pursue it and I'm sure McDermott and everyone else in the organization would be happy for him. McDermott knows this day was coming. He has a plan. He is very well thought of around the league. He would have no trouble getting another bright, young coordinator to come in and do a great job. Or that person is already on the staff.
  7. Gamblers are sick of losing their money the past two weeks.
  8. Elliot was pretty dang good, but he has been a workhorse for years now and maybe he feels it now. He used to just truck people over. Don't see that much anymore. And he doesn't seem like a guy who takes practice, training, and treating his body right seriously to me. Maybe he is. I could be wrong. He seems like he's just going through the motions to me.
  9. We've already seen what happens to them in the playoffs. Unfortunately for the Ravens, Jackson is one dimensional and doesn't have a strong enough arm to get the ball outside the numbers. The Ravens can win regular season games with him, but the playoffs are a different story.
  10. It was charged to Allen because of the rules. But it was 100% Moss's fault. And I'm sure Moss would be the first person to tell you that.
  11. That's exactly what I called for after it happened. He did go back in later, I believe. I think he had a run for a loss. He was clearly down on that one, though. Wasn't even close.
  12. His main argument of why he doesn't think the Bills could ever beat the Chiefs is because the Chiefs have more prime time games and he sees their highlights more often. Just wow.
  13. Yep. Are we going to start complaining about who we keep on the practice squad too? I mean, you aren't going to have a full roster of all pros.
  14. Why? Why wouldn't you just use Smith? That's why he's on the team.
  15. I'm just feeling depressed because McDermott will never get us to the next level, you know? /s
  16. Last year, yes. This year, no. And the past couple of weeks he has about 30% of the offensive snaps. 25 snaps yesterday and 17 the week before. I mean, I don't really care if he stays or goes. He isn't critical in any fashion. But there's just no reason to be angry about him.
  17. Dude, he is a blocker who occasionally runs a route. What's your problem? He's basically an olineman.
  18. KC for sure. Have to worry about the division before anything else.
  19. I'm totally fine with them losing. I just think it's silly to think that it means less to beat them undefeated than it is to beat them with one loss already. As if to say the Bills have some unfair advantage because of the extra motivation you get facing an unbeaten team (as if that's how our coach and players operate anyway...).
  20. I was going to make the same comparison. Coordinators can certainly come in and run the same offense. And I would expect them to add their own perspective, own plays, and own wrinkles to the offense. I bet McDermott would make it clear that they are not willing to have a full change of offensive scheme. If Dorsey is the guy, that transition would be really easy. If they want to bring in a third party, it might be a little tougher because a lot of coordinators would want to run their own scheme. So it's up to McDermott to find a coordinator that is willing to work with the current system in place.
  21. So you're saying if the Bills would beat them when they are undefeated it would be a lesser victory because the Bills would have additional motivation? That's... pretty dumb.
  22. Nobody claimed the offense was good. We all just realized that it takes some time to add talent and coach up young guys like Allen. Meanwhile, we went to the playoffs two out of three years and fixed the cap. If you want to condemn the coaches and GM for offensive failures the past couple of seasons, go right ahead. It just is not a fair or logical way to look at it. The team was rebuilding. There was huge turnover. We had a young, extremely raw QB prospect. And other NFL coaches and GM's give ours a ton of credit and praise. And Flores for the Dolphins has openly said that he is using McDermott and Beane as an example and template for fixing the Dolphins.
