  1. I assume he can go to the coordinator for coaching.
  2. He looked good. He didn't really make many "wow" plays though. Efficient and consistent. Let's wait and see how he does going forward. But he took a ton of hits in the pocket and I don't think it is a recipe for success throwing it 60+ times a game. They need to help their rookie QB out more. The difference to me is Allen makes those "wow" plays all the time, and he did as a rookie too. He makes a lot of mistakes, but you always feel like a big play could happen at any moment. But yeah, it has only been two games for Burrow. Have to wait and see. There's no way anyone could honestly claim that he is better than Allen after two games (and two losses, btw).
  3. Can we just ban this guy already? What a complete and utter moron.
  4. You obviously have no clue. Just give up now instead of digging yourself deeper into a hole. What is Edmunds supposed to do? Tell Sean McDermott that he IS going to play? Trot out onto the field even though he hasn't been cleared?
  5. It's not up to Milano and Edmunds if they play or not. This regime has always been cautious with injuries. Everything you said is a bunch of bull.
  6. I was referring only to his yards per attempt stat. The big difference eis likely due to the disparate caliber of defenses he faced week 1 vs 2. I said nothing bad about him.
  7. It has nothing to do with Baker. It was the defenses he faced.
  8. Wow, that was a horrible interception. If Josh did that we'd be calling him a bust. Completely did not see the defender.
  9. Well yeah, you always know where he will be. Shutting down your top receiver and never allowing TD's.
  10. Yeah, and with this particular kick I am not convinced it was good anyway. But if camera angles are an issue, spend some of your billions of dollars on a couple extra cameras. I don't care about this particular kick, but if I am an NFL executive, if I saw that, I would say to myself "Why is this kind of thing still happening in 2020? Surely we can come up with some solutions to some of these plays." The fact that there isn't a camera angle is silly, because they already have cameras on the uprights themselves. For some reason that hasn't been made available, but they surely have it. Unless someone forgot to press the on button on that camera?
  11. Field goals is just part of it. And I don't blame the officials at all. The game is designed for the officials to have to make too many split second judgement calls. Spotting the ball is the easiest thing to see. They get the spot a little bit wrong basically every single time, which is a huge deal because literally every inch is important. And the other issue is that certain things aren't reviewable. Why? Why is a field goal reviewable until it reaches a certain height? That makes no sense. That is when you NEED to review it the most. And there are plenty examples of non-reviewable things that should be reviewable.
  12. I don't really give the Dolphins much thought these days. It's the Jets I hate the most. Classless organization with dirty players. Ironically, my hate for them really started in their Rex Ryan years.
  13. The fiasco of what a catch is still came down to a human making a judgement call. Technology had nothing to do with that. They still use replay, but have simplified the rules, which makes it easier to make those judgement calls. It's pretty silly to think that technology couldn't enhance the game. I never said you take humanity out of the game. You use technology to make certain aspects easier and more simple, thus allowing the officials to focus on more important things.
  14. I'll be happy, It means this team is able to adjust effectively to their opponent and it makes it that much harder for defenses to game plan against us. As long as they are executing and scoring points, I don't care how they do it.
  15. But why does that matter? Getting plays right is important, whether it is a blowout or not. They need to be more accurate and less arbitrary in most aspects of the game, and technology is available and ready to be implemented but they choose not too, instead opting for a bunch of old guys making judgement calls. Haha, and we aren't supposed to notice that the score doesn't change even thought you watch the ball go through the uprights? It's pretty crazy and needs some explanation.
  16. I don't have much of an issue. Just need to kick the ball better so it isn't a judgement call for the refs. But, the league needs to get on the technology train. Spotting the ball from officials is often pretty far off, and in a game of inches that is a problem. Breaking the plane of the end zone, good and bad field goals, staying in bounds or not, etc. All these things can be enhanced by technology. I've never, ever understood the whole "bring out the chains!" thing when the ball is spotted arbitrarily and wherever you put the chains down on the field is ALSO arbitrary.
  17. Any comment from our resident grumpy posters and Josh Allen haters?
  18. If that's true, that's a problem.
  19. Dan Fouts was a 6 time Pro Bowler and 2 time First Team All-Pro, though. Bledsoe was a 4 time Pro Bowler and never all-pro. I just don't think he is hall of fame worthy. Maybe the hall of very good?
  20. I don't think that's good enough, personally.
  21. Great job owning up to it. Murphy got a lot of unwarranted hate around here. It's good to see he is playing well.
  22. Wow, Bledsoe is on the list? In what universe is he a hall of fame candidate?
  23. Wonder why they are showing Denver and Pittsburgh in Boston...
  24. Ok, you just keep doubling down on your extreme statements that aren't supported by fact. Be my guest.
  25. I disagree. He has throws like that all the time.
