In my opinion McDermott has always done what he needed to win. The past few years was defense and conservative offense, because that's what we had. We didn't have an offense that could put up tons of points. Now we do.

That's what hope. I do not want a forfeit.

Let's just send the Titans to the CFL and add an expansion team of free agents to play this Sunday. That way we can all forget this ever happened.

Part of the product is parity, though. They have designed the league to provide as little competitive edge as possible. They share revenue so there isn't a money gap, they instituted free agency and the salary cap, etc. All this is to keep teams as competitive as possible. Because a competitive league is a highly entertaining league. It's a good product. So they all go hand in hand.

Before COVID and the opt outs and trades I fully expected the Jets to be improved. I thought they could be an 8-8 or 9-7 team this year. But I underestimated Gase's ability to screw you over. Ah, but how many warnings do you have? I've been on a roll lately.

Well I can. I'm not comparing him to McDermott or anything. And we were all surprised he got to the championship game. Kudos to him for that, but Rex Ryan did that twice. His teams are mediocre, but generally play tough defense. He's just kind of an old school coach and I find his decision making poor at times. I think he's an above average coach and that's all. And I fully expect his team to eventually fall behind the rest of the NFL over time. But we'll see.

I think Vrabel is massively overrated anyway.

Well I noticed they blitzed Fitzpatrick an awful lot and I was begging for them to stop because he was really getting it out fast and delivering a strike in the face of every blitz. I wanted them to drop in coverage more against him. Makes sense to blitz Darnold a lot though, or at least line up the guys who can get pressure on him.

I'm sure they did it to try to get extra pressure on Goff since Goff is terrible under pressure. Jefferson is the better pass rusher.

Your judgement is in the bolded above. You jumped to conclusions that this was his motive without any evidence. Social media is where people go to post their beliefs and views on things. There's no reason to believe that Tre White was not legitimately considering opting out. You are literally calling him and his family liars, which I think is unfair and without any basis in reality.

Just not true at all. He's been playing well. He has been targeted very few times.

It was just part of his normal phone destruction program that was perfectly normal and something that perfectly normal people do all the time. It just happened to coincide with an investigation. I'm sure he has destroyed his phone countless times since then. But don't check in on that.
