  1. For sure. Everyone loves Josh. He's humble, a fierce competitor, a great leader, and he puts his body on the line for a win. Let the analysts talk all the crap they want. The more the better. It will just pile on motivation for the team, especially when it's all just a bunch of BS.
  2. Because it's fun. And because it's boring to just do the same thing every week. I have my favorites as well, but I like that they mix it up. Might as well.
  3. They showed a great view of it on the broadcast getting hit. So if people think it was a bad throw they didn't watch. Just looked at the stats.

  7. Absolutely. Josh is a unicorn. There's never going to be another one like him. People trying to replicate it are going to get burned time and time again. Allen barely even played in college and never received adequate coaching until the pros. It was a tremendous risk to take him and believe you could develop him AND that he would be so hard working and humble enough to allow it. Just not going to happen again. Most guys who make it to the pros have a lot of college experience with big programs. Just don't see another QB the caliber of Allen getting to the NFL so, so raw like he was.
  8. Well yeah, but my comment was about Murray. My point was most people think he is good regardless of his race. I don't think he is held to some higher standard, which was the claim with Tyrod and some of these other minority QB's. When you are good, you're good. I don't think people generally care about anything else (except sometimes with Josh, inexplicably).

  15. Well, it started his rookie year when he was just amazing running the ball. Everyone was saying that Allen shouldn't be running it as much. And then you had Jackson over there pretty much ONLY running it and it was fine for him to do.
  16. How is Kylar Murray evaluated? I feel like most people think he is a good QB. What I do notice is that people love it when Jackson and Murray run around, but if Josh does they say it's bad and that he shouldn't. I don't get that.
  17. Huh? No. The Bills were 6-2 heading into that game. Everyone saw it as a big matchup. There's a difference in being an underdog and it being a trap game. You think there was any chance the Seahawks would be looking past a matchup with a 6-2 opponent?
  18. I don't think you could play football with full sickle cell disease, could you? EDIT: Apparently Tiki Barber had it. So I guess it's possible. I'm pretty sure it was a new injury.
  19. I've only recently realized that race has been at least a small part of the reason why some of these former players and minority analysts have been hating on Josh. I guess my head was in the sand. I didn't realize that benching Tyrod after he threw for less than 70 yards and then replacing him with Allen was such a hot button issue. Tyrod is, at best, a below average QB. So I never thought it strange that the team would be actively looking to replace him. And we have seen the same thing with the Chargers and their minority coach. Tyrod just isn't good enough and I don't think race had anything to do with the Bills decision.
  20. Nice to be in a position to have a "trap game". For the longest time we were hoping that WE were the trap game for bigger, better opponents.
  21. When the kick is above the height of the posts the rule states that if any part of the ball is over the posts, it is good. So in fact, if any part of the ball did that, even if most of the ball was outside, it should be called good. But it's Bass's job to not kick it so high and force a judgement call by the refs. The refs get things wrong all the time, so don't put it in their hands.
  22. I used to live in Colorado, through my middle school and much of my high school years. Right next to the Olympic training center. I moved to California close to sea level and I was able to just run... forever. I could have just run till my body gave out, I guess. It was very strange, but I figured out it was the elevation change. These days I play a lot of disc golf and I also travel a couple times a year for work conferences and stuff. I usually try to play a course when I go. The disc flies very differently at lower elevation vs higher elevation. You get more turn and less fade at lower elevations. So yeah, elevation makes a difference. I wonder if they might have John Brown sit this game because it also can affect those with sickle cell trait. Ugh, that's why I hate it. Takes so long to get into town.
