  1. So it's just a misleading title. Just a "trade for one of the best d linemen in the league, Beane!" posts.
  2. So is he on the trade block or not? I don't get it
  3. I think it is clear now that defenses thrive on the noise and electricity that fans bring, including our defense. Hope we can get them back soon because it may be one of the missing ingredients to our defense.
  4. Huh? So you think NE or Miami will win the division?
  5. Is he pretending to be hurt for the cameras to trick the Bills into thinking he won't play? Well done, Sam. Tricky tricky.
  6. I did the same thing. Forgot to make picks because I was busy. My ranking actually improved. But I did get eliminated from survivor pool. Sucky way to go out.
  7. It's pretty easy to see that both Beane AND McDermott both have a lot of say. They work together.
  8. It doesn't make sense to you (a fan) because you don't have all the information. All we are left to do is speculate, but it's obvious he fell out of favor. Firstly, he wasn't playing well. Then I'm sure something or a series of things happened that led to his release.
  9. I can't think of two players more different. Or Elway.
  10. If they draft him, what's he supposed to do?
  11. This is an overreaction. We played two of the best teams in the league and lost. On to next week. The Bills will make the playoffs. And then they can go from there. I'd rather have our struggles now with 10 games left to go (and still 4-2) than be struggling in December. Give the team some time to right the ship before you jump off into oblivion. Wait at least until we have a losing record and/or lose to a team that isn't one of the very best in the NFL.
  12. Well I guess you better get used to him. He's going to be the coach for a long time.
  13. This is the dumbest thread. What a load of bull.
  14. Seemed fine. I did notice Poyer slipped when he tried coming back for a tackle, but it was also rainy and wet on the field.
  15. The one kick I saw yesterday he rotated the ball perfectly. I didn't see on the missed kick. I'm assuming he's working on it. And holding kicks seems like something that can easily be improved by simply getting more practice reps and just putting in the time. Does Barkley have experience holding kicks? Or would he be starting from square 1?
  16. You can develop and improve your players AND win games. Do you think Bojo was at all to blame for the loss yesterday?
  17. Yeah, Fitz is a roller coaster. The Dolphins are fine to get their rookie some snaps. Although, I'm surprised they didn't let him sit and learn longer. Unless they have been really impressed with Tua in practice and think he gives them a better shot.
  18. He does well on the long ones. He needs to work on the shorter ones to pin teams deep. And obviously the holding for kicks has been a big issue. But I'm not too worried about him punting, which is nice.
  19. Is Miami a good team suddenly? Raiders and Patriots are better than them.
  20. With Lock back they won't beat the Broncos, likely. And the Bengals have been playing teams tough. That's kit a gimmee. No way they go 2-2 against the Chiefs, Patriots, Raiders, and Bills. Maybe they get 1 of those. Likely none. 7 wins for them.
  21. Well yeah, but it was a different game. Not just because defenders could actually play, but because things like the spread offense were less used. QB's were expected to take a deep drop back almost every time and push the ball down the field. The quick passing game was not yet as prevalent. The screen game wasn't as big. All those things that pad the stats, including completion percentage.
  22. It was a fine strategy. This was one of the best offenses in football. The Bills offense needed to score more points, plain and simple. It was a bend but don't break strategy. They let Mahomes get too many yards on the ground. They didn't get enough pressure on him. Other than that, I'm fine with the defensive approach, and honestly the results, too. The offense has to be able to do more. Dropped passes, missed passes by Allen, poor run blocking, and then Allen sealed the defeat with his late turnover. People can blame the defense if they want, but I think it's unrealistic to hold such a high powered offense to below what we held them to. The Chiefs are going to get their yards and points.
