  1. It was the Giants and they had 2 injured. I mentioned that in my post. Why? I just don't get this. How is it bad sportsmanship? How is it any different than blocking? You push people out of the way for the runner, why is it bad to push the runner through? It is essentially the same as blocking.
  2. On the basis of the lack of injuries for both traditional QB sneaks and this version of the QB sneak. They are relatively safe plays, mostly because there is very little build up of momentum before impact. The issue with Rugby scrums is that players have their arms linked, connecting the force of those around you and not allowing you to buckle back from the force. I'm sure they will look at the play, but just in watching this happen for a couple of years now, has there been injuries? I believe there were none all last year, and I think there were a couple of giants players injured this year (a center and TE). A few years ago Mahomes was injured on a QB sneak, but Andy Reid admitted it was a freak accident and people don't usually get hurt on sneaks. I would not be surprised if the QB sneak, including the latest version, is actually one of the safest plays in football.
  3. Yes, the way he said hello you could tell his patience was already thin. I do not think he likes John one bit. And those saying Sean was disrespectful: are you serious? That has to be the most respectful disrespect I have ever heard. Also, it is just objectively the truth that Sean's home is in Buffalo. Sean moves around a lot because of his job. I moved around a lot growing up because of my Dad's job. You don't get too attached to places and you have to move on mentally when you move physically. I lived in Colorado for a long time, but if Wawrow said "you are heading back home to Colorado" to me, I would be confused and say, "No, I actually live Louisiana. My home is in Louisiana."
  4. It is not more dangerous than a regular QB sneak.
  5. Dude, he only dove after the ball hit his hands and then bounced and hit him in the face. He floundered trying to catch the ball. It was a pretty dang good throw. Bills fans would be pretty mad if that was Davis trying to catch that pass.
  6. Yeah, I had the same guesses, but was Foster's really that long? I can't remember. But I still don't know how Josh Allen got that pass off...
  7. Yeah, I LOVED the Lions draft. People here were trashing it for some reason. So weird.
  8. Many people hated the Bernard pick. He is turning out to be an impact starter. Great to see, and it shows just how hard it is to predict success in the NFL.
  9. For sure, but it doesn't stop their ridiculous tough guy act.
  10. And a couple of puny people "holding him back", like, if he really wanted he could plow through those people like swatting flies. But he let them hold him back.
  11. I mean, this is exactly what everyone called for. Bring him back slowly and allow him to work to get back to effectiveness by the playoffs. Now many of those same people are lamenting that he isn't doing much. Well, yeah, that was always going to be the case, but maybe in a few weeks he will get to the point that he is somewhat his old self. Also, maybe he won't. It is a risk. But I think they should still give him some snaps each week. If there is even a small chance that he could get back to what he was, even just somewhat, that would be huge for the playoffs if we get in.
  12. Kincaid is a better athlete than Kelce, in my opinion, but what makes Kelce great is his ability to consistently find open space. He is always open, somehow. He is also a little bigger than Kincaid.
  13. Didn't you see it on the broadcast? They showed it pretty clearly. He definitely did not see it. It was just a happy accident for them that there actually was miniscule contact.
  14. Very common in the NFL. Even Brady used to do it, and he won't eat a tomato.
  15. Because they have an easy remaining schedule and the Bills have a very hard remaining schedule.
  16. I do not agree. The path to the playoffs is exclusively by wild card. We will not catch the Dolphins.
  17. It was a collective "we", including the other division mates.
  18. He hasn't been good for so many years. I simply do not understand what teams see in him.
  19. True. I'm guessing his thoughts include some criticism for how Dorsey was leading the offense.
  20. How are those comments bizzare? They seem spot on.
  21. He is the head coach. Has there ever been a head coach who doesn't have their fingerprints on both sides of the ball? That's their job. They make the decisions in critical situations. They direct their coordinators, who are their subordinates, on what they want to see.
  22. Nice. We're first place in winless football.
