  1. Ben always looks good to start the season. If there is a time they could beat us it is in the first few weeks. I think it might be a close game. But I expect the Bills to win.
  2. Hey, for you old timers the Bills already won a couple back in the AFL days. For us youngsters we've seen nothing but garbage football until McDermott rolled into town.
  3. I thought Cam was supposed to be so much better this year and the only reason he sucked last year was because of his COVID brain fog. Guess he sucks like we all thought.
  4. 7 pages of non-cuts. Come on, people.
  5. Thanks. I screwed myself last year by forgetting to make the picks a couple times. I'll try to remember every week this year.
  6. These look like 16 game projections, not 17. I don't care about the other two, but here are my Josh projections: 4,900 Passing Yards, 42 Passing TD's, 600 Rushing Yards, 7 Rushing TD's.
  7. Makes total sense. He would still be buried on the depth chart after this year with Epenesa, Rousseau, and Basham all ahead of him at least.
  8. Yeah. In a perfect world you would be able to stop both, and I think it is possible to do that to a certain extent. But there are going to be situations where you play the pass and risk giving up runs, and vice versa. In the red zone you have the luxury of devoting more manpower to stopping the run because there is much less ground to cover for the pass. Their secondary was also allowed to play very physical against our receivers, something that the officials cracked down on in the Superbowl against Tampa Bay.
  9. This is what I've been talking about. Everytime the Chiefs run the ball on us, that is keeping the ball out of the hands of Mahomes, Kelce, and Hill. It severely limits their potential for an explosive play. So yeah, let teams run the ball on us and force them to execute 15 play drives to score on us. Chances are they will not always be able to do that. Sometimes, yes, but not all the time. Build the defense to stop the pass and get after the QB.
  10. Miami does tend to move on from guys that they sign to multi-year deals.
  11. Lame thread. Lame poll. Go ahead and reply to me with some kind of defensive, passive aggressive comment. I'm ready for it!
  12. Davis is a really nice receiver. Hope he gets a lot of playing time. Him and Sanders can split snaps when you aren't running 4 WR sets.
  13. And they have great coaching too.
  14. Hopefully that's not true with a much improved pass rush. A good pass rush can mask a poor secondary, to a certain extent, of course.
  15. Why are people saying linebacker? Our linebackers are good. We have excellent depth as well.
  16. The issue is not the topic. The issue is, as we have already seen with multiple posts, people leaping to general COVID and political discussion, people fighting, people insulting players and one another, etc. If you want this to become a political forum, good for you. But I certainly don't.1q
  17. Hmm. I think most head coaches would prefer Allen over Jackson because of the more conventional QB play and the higher ceiling throwing the football, but that's just me. With Jackson, you can't run a conventional offense. And Allen score more rushing TD's anyway.
  18. He didn't kneel at first. He just sat on the bench. He received criticism for that, and decided to kneel instead.
  19. "Can you rub some lotion on my thighs? They hurt real bad!"
  20. It needs to happen. It's two weeks right now, right? A player could contract COVID, have mild symptoms, and completely recover within two weeks, all between tests. The Titans are like 97% vaccinated, right? And they just had an outbreak because, as they surmise, vaccinated players went out for dinner before a game. Unfortunately, it just seems like the smartest thing to do is to go back to last year's protocols for everyone, just to be safe. (I tried to keep this completely football related and I am not bashing anyone or anything related to COVID. Hope my comment is not out of line. Despite the constant warnings from mods on the board, I'm still fuzzy on what's allowed to say and what's not. That's why I usually do not comment on COVID related threads at all, recently) Things have changed. I hope the NFL tries to do the right thing instead of worrying about players being unhappy. Pandemics just aren't happy things. Nobody is happy about it.
  21. He looks like Bob Ross. I'd be surprised to hear that's not what he was going for.
  22. This might be the only year that this might be an ok strategy. Of course, until the Bills have their bye week... Your team would be strong at QB, average at WR, and very weak at RB. TE would be a weak spot, but it is usually a weak position unless you have one of the top 2 or 3 guys anyway. Defense could be strong. Overall, an all Bills team would not be great, but I bet you could get some wins.
  23. Just focus on filling out your roster with good players. Every online platform will already have players ranked, so just generally follow the existing ranking system. It's ok to take multiple running backs and receivers in a row because that's the bulk of your team. A rookie mistake is taking a QB too soon. QB's score a lot of fantasy points, but there are a lot of QB's that can get you good points. Running back gets drafted early because there are a few elite guys and then a huge dropoff of production, so you want to get at least one good running back if you can.
  24. So most of the losses come against the easier teams we face. That would be strange. And they think the Patriots will sweep the division and finish 2nd in the AFC East. That's really strange.
  25. Totally fine with it. Excited to see Josh and the other starters.
