  1. I don't feel bad for them in the slightest. I'd be totally fine if they continued to suck for all of existence. The Jets are one of those organizations I just really don't like. I have felt bad for the Dolphins in the past and many other bad teams, but not the Jets. But, I do feel bad for some of the players who have to go there, Zach Wilson included. He seems like a good kid with some potential. He'll get ruined just like Darnold.
  2. Well, Bills fans should probably stay consistent and not change, which means we will continue to mock the Jets and every dumb thing they do. I know I've been doing it my whole life, basically.
  3. We have a committee backfield.
  4. I think he is going to have a big year. He has Fitz throwing him the ball now and they don't have a ton of options there besides him. McLaurin is good, for sure, but it's not like they have a superstar to feed. I think Thomas is going to establish himself as a top 6 TE in the league.
  5. What a bunch of morons. The Jets will always be the Jets. He is your first round QB. Give his agent what he wants. It's not like there is a ton of wiggle room with the rookie wage scale. Who cares? Get him into camp. Is there any other team who hasn't signed their first rounder?
  6. The players all give him immense credit. He deserves a ton of credit for his leadership and for his ability to keep all those finicky, intense personalities going in the same direction. And you're just wrong. He is a great coach and everyone who ever worked with him or played under him only has great things to say about him. I mean, yeah, he got out coached by a handful of the greatest coaches in the sport's history, but that does not make him a poor coach.
  7. Such a strange situation. I hope more QB's don't try the same thing with their organizations. Just do your job as a QB and don't believe that you deserve to have input on every single hire, draft pick, play call, etc. That's not your job. I mean, I'll agree that the organization didn't always do the right thing to put Rodgers in a position to win, but if you have issues, deal with them in-house and discretely, not in interviews or with social media. I'm not a Brady fan, but he did those types of things the right way. I'm sure his exit from NE included a ton of behind-the-scenes drama that we'll never know the extent of.
  8. Oh, I think a lot of people like the Bills around the country and are interested to see them do well, mostly because it is a change of pace. But I just don't think it's possible for the Bills to ever have that many actual fans. After 20 years of dominant NFL play and tons of Superbowl appearances and wins, the Patriots have not even eclipsed the Cowboys in sheer number of fans, and they have a much larger metro area to pull from. I think to whole "America's Team" thing is a joke, anyway. There isn't a single team that doesn't have a large group of haters.
  9. If you go by sheer numbers, it probably IS the Cowboys. They have a large national following. This site lists the Cowboys first in Facebook followers with more than 8 million (Buffalo had less than a million, and Green Bay had 5 million): https://www.statista.com/statistics/240028/facebook-fans-of-national-football-league-teams/ This site lists the Cowboys 1st for social media following, Packers are 4th: https://www.wsn.com/nfl/least-most-popular-nfl-teams-facebook/#gref This site shows TV ratings by team and the Cowboys are #1 there are well: https://www.sportico.com/business/media/2020/top-rated-nfl-games-1234616911/ So, while I don't like the Cowboys personally, the data show that they are probably the most popular team in the nation. And I'm sure they bring in the most money for the NFL too. That being said, people love to root for the underdog.
  10. I think their uniforms are good. I think the worst uniforms are: Browns (they have been getting better though), Jaguars (a couple years ago when they had that matte, two-toned helmet was hideous), Bengals, and Washington. I'm not a big fan of the new Rams uniforms and logo. I hate the neon green in the Seahawks uniforms.
  11. Wow. Darnold and Wentz are rated lower than most of the rookie QB's. Ouch. I think that changes by the end of the season. I think both of them are going to play at least decently.
  12. Well, I personally think it's pretty silly for fans to think that Bill Belichick isn't a great coach. Yeah, if you remove 20 of his best seasons and all the Superbowls his team went to, yeah, he wasn't that great. Almost all of the great coaches also had a great QB. But, I'll agree that Brady was the primary reason the Pats were great. Doesn't matter how good of a coach you are if you don't have a good QB.
  13. Well... sure. So why was he not willing to put the work in to getting in shape before? And no matter how to look at it, it's a benefit to be in shape, athletically gifted, and physically dominant. So all those players who came into the league WITH that have a leg up on the guys who didn't. You can compare him to Brady all you want, but those were vastly different times when Brady came into the league. Players did not prepare for the combine then like they do today. But, as with any player, we'll see how he does. But expect for opposing team's fans to continue to make fun of Jones and any other QB you have until they prove that they can play. Many fans have been looking forward to the Pats without Brady for a long, long time.
  14. Fascinating read. That all time sack leader list has a lot of new names on it. And "Bubba" Baker technically has the record for single season sacks with 23, in his rookie year, no less.
  15. I voted Andre Roberts. I've been rewatching the games from 2020. That dude was a consistent difference maker on special teams. I'm really interested to see who takes his place. Obviously, it's not rocket science. A lot of guys can return. But it was nice not having to really worry about the returner making a boneheaded decision. Roberts almost always made the right decision, and he rarely muffed it or turned the ball over.
  16. There's an extra game this year, so the rushing yardage totals might even go up for Allen, but I doubt he leads the team. Singletary and Moss both outrushed Allen in a year where our running game was pretty disappointing. I see no reason why at least one of them won't outrush Allen again this year.
  17. Don't forget the decrease in the cap. Nobody could have foreseen that. If the cap would have increased instead, like it normally does, the Bills would have been in a good position to add a couple key contributors.
  18. But why would anyone say he is worth that?
  19. Why would Edmunds be paid as the top linebacker in the league? He and his agent would not be expecting that kind of money.
  20. Singletary is our best running back, in my opinion.
  21. Don't coaches get called by their first name all the time?
  22. It's also a duplicate thread of one that got locked.
  23. Oh man, we sure don't like his opinion. Ban him! Cut him! Delete his Twitter! Rabble, rabble, rabble!
