The oline did a lot better than I expected. The scheme helped them out a lot today too, so good on Daboll for getting Allen on the move to help them out.

Week 16, Bills v. Cheats, 12/26/21 - GAME BALLS
MJS replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
McKenzie was a real warrior out there making tough catches and fighting for yards. He got banged up and still kept fighting. Allen was awesome. Came through in the clutch time and time again. Diggs was also playing hurt and gave it his all. Came through in clutch moments. He played angry. Singletary is our best back and it isn't even close. I thought Taron Johnson was excellent. He has that one bull crap penalty when he was in perfect coverage. Daboll called a good game. He got Josh on the move to help out the oline. He needs to keep it up. Hyde with two INT's. He is a great safety. It's an utter shame he and Poyer did not make the pro bowl. -
What a warrior. Him, Allen, and Diggs all gave it their all today when we really needed them.

What a tool you are. Go sulk with the Patriots and their loser fans.

Daboll has been helping the oline a lot. A lot of plays have been getting Allen on the move. Should have been doing that all year. -

I think picking up the flag was the right thing to do, but we see plays like that penalized all the time. So it could have easily been a penalty. -

Yes, but it was also a flop by Jones. Stupid for Hughes to even touch him, though. -

So far Sanders is only hurting the team today. When Davis is back he should be starting over him. -

Breida has been pretty ineffective the past couple of weeks. I hope they still plan to give Singletary the workload. -
Bills' Spencer Brown fined $5K for celebrating TD with fan's beer

Maybe Brown got drunk and that's why he committed all those penalties. -
Showdown with Pats is a judgment day for Sean McDermott, Bills

No. Do the smart thing. Be aggressive if that's needed. Be conservative if that's needed. Be like Bill Belichick. -
Showdown with Pats is a judgment day for Sean McDermott, Bills
MJS replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
The always going for it on 4th down thing is silly. We've seen tons of teams lose this year because they didn't take the points in field goal range. Meanwhile, we have Bill Belichick, who everyone says is the best coach ever, who almost always takes the points and kicks field goals if he is in range. McDermott gets blasted for being conservative, when Bill Belichick is undeniably a conservative coach. In my opinion you should go for it sometimes, when the situation demands it, but you should take fields goals most of the time. Points are going to be valuable in this game, and I don't trust our COVID decimated oline to successfully help the team convert 4th downs. The key is to play mistake free, fundamental football. That's what Bill Belichick does. He doesn't follow trends. He doesn't rely too much on analytics. He just plays fundamental football, game plans to take away a team's strength, and waits for the other team to make mistakes and beat themselves. -
Should we bring back John Brown for the Patriots game?
MJS replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Maybe if this happened a few days ago. I just think it is too late now. -
That's not good. Do we even have enough players on the oline now?

Gauging anything by Pats fans sentiment is foolish. They are a fan base of tools. We could beat them for 10 straight years and they'd still be smug and delusional. They live in their own reality. A rivalry is not between fans and fans anyway. I don't really consider the Pats and Bills rivals other than the fact they are in the same division. I think true rivalries need to go back and forth. One team could have a stretch of dominance for a bit, then the other. Both teams should be somewhat equal. I think going forward it could turn into a rivalry. If the Bills and Pats are both 1st and 2nd in the division each year and the division is hotly contested, and they have a playoff match or two, it will be a full blown rivalry in a couple of years.
-
Poyer deserves it more than anyone. He has had a great year.
-
Thanks. That's why I think the AFC is better. We just don't get that sense at first blush because the AFC teams are beating each other a lot.
-
AFC. The NFC is more top heavy. The AFC has a lot more good teams that have all been beating up each other. Anyone have the record of AFC teams versus NFC teams this year? I'd be interested to see that.
