Barf. College overtime is by far the lamest thing in sports.

Gotta keep those two mediocre teams in prime time?
-
The Jets are just a historically bad organization. They are bottom five in all-time win percentage.

He was a significant contributor.

Just fans overreacting. They can't handle losses.

Do you think there is a rule that everything has to be Bills related? General NFL discussion is allowed, last time I checked.

Why is it important to not have a tie?

What is the record for most red zone attempts without an int?
MJS replied to Batman1876's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm interested in the record for starting a career with no INT's in the red zone. -
Are the Jets fans counting this game as a win? They tend to do that.

Watching other games makes me more thankful for Bass. Just some abysmal kicking in some games. The Lions could have won their game today if they had a better kicker. Eh, I'm happy for Teller. Good for him. I have no regrets. He was a 5th round draft pick. It's not like we let a 1st rounder go. And I don't remember him doing anything particularly spectacular in a Bills uniform. Sometimes guys move to a new team and the scheme and personnel work well for them and everything clicks.

4 weeks from now everything will be different, just like 4 weeks ago everything was different. You really think the Titans will be the top team in the AFC come season's end? Any one of their opponents could upset them any given week. They aren't some juggernaut team. Just have to see how things play out. The Bills need to just go win and everything else will work itself out.
-
Agreed. Carr for sure isn't a top QB. He can have big games and wins, but he definately isn't someone who can put the team on his back.
-
Titans are going to have another embarrassing loss. That's just the story of the season. Your team is on top for a week or two, then you get embarrassed by a bottom feeder or mediocre team. Plus, they are a streaky team and always have been. They are playing well right now, but they'll have another low streak I bet.

Manning threw a ton of INT's his rookie year. I'm sure he had some in the red zone. I doubt either of them have that record. I know Mahomes had a long streak to start his career without a red zone INT, but he has had some of those by now. -
Raiders shot themselves in the foot so many times. Pretty pathetic.

It's a balance. Sometimes if you throw them to the wolves, they get eaten. Their confidence gets shaken, and they get injured. Bringing them along more slowly can help them develop. Obviously, you want to slowly increase their responsibilities. But giving them too much, too fast sets them up for failure and frustration.

Picking up Edmunds Option a Rare Beane Mistake
MJS replied to Billy Zabka's topic in The Stadium Wall
Klein is a fine player, but we don't get to play the Jets every week. -
I haven't watched the Pats for a bit, but last time I did I thought they were really calling games to help Mac Jones out. They have not asked him to do too much and are treating him like a rookie, which is smart. I don't get how teams can throw everything on the shoulders of some of these rookie QB's. Trevor Lawrence and Zach Wilson have been thrown into the fire and asked to operate as 5 year vets. And surprise! They have struggled. The down side to that is it really limits you offensively if the QB is not able to take full command of the offense. We'll see what happens. Belichick is a great coach. The Patriots have a good defense. The team is better than I thought they would be.

As long as the Bills take care of business, especially in the games where they face the Pats, they are nothing to worry about.

You know he hates those, right?
