  1. I just think Davis got tired of being burned and realized he's hurting more than helping the team and it was time to retire. If anything he did is a favor gave younger guys a chance.
  2. I believe everything is going as planned except for losing Wood and Incognito which killed our O-line. People don't realize you can't just plug and play O-line men especially guards that have to pull or make calls. That is why we are limping with this O-line because there is no quick fix to it and we waited until too late in the draft to address it. I think Josh Allen will look allot better than Peterman and we will be allot more competitive. He has flashed incredible arm talent and opposing defenses will take notice.
  3. I really wonder why they pull from a week position one of the few viable veterans on the roster to add to whats supposed to be a strength.
  4. I feel bad for Peterman he plays good in preseason and practice and can't translate it to the regular season. Which keeps tricking our Coaches into thinking he can do it. Unfortunately he will be forever thought of as a flop and anyone throws five picks in the first half it will now be called pulling a Peterman.
  5. Kind of quick to jump down Daboll's throat don't yah think. This will be another tough test and without a working run game we were dead ducks against a top defense.
  6. I tried and hoped Peterman would play well he just doesn't have the same poise and vision that even Allen showed late in the game. Really wanted to see him prove he wasn't just the Chargers game last year. It's Allen's turn and again hoping he doesn't look like a deer in the headlights.
  7. It's only one really bad game and we have a murderers row for a schedule so it definitely could happen. This sounds allot like last year how we really thought at the beginning we were lucky to win a game. I will admit our team doesn't look as good as last year and we have some glaring deficiencies and youth in some key positions. That being said if we can get the oline to gel at all and Edmunds starts getting more comfortable and the secondary gets healthy we can at least be competitive.
  8. So far Allen has shown grit and toughness. As well as the ability to shake off would be tacklers. I think we have allot better chance being competitive this year with him at the helm. He has better pocket presence and escapability. I'm excited to see what the kid can do. My expectations for this year have been tempered by our first loss. Just want us to be competitive until the reinforcements come next offseason.
  9. Taking high winds and rain into account. I'm expecting a modest 10/12 212 yards 2 Td and running 5 times for 39 yards. Lean heavy on Shady with screen game
  10. That's probably the most interesting game to watch tomorrow. Brady WR less sans Hogan, All new offensive line without Solder against a healthy Houston team.
  11. What about that terrible line in New England Houston will feast this weekend. Hoyer better be ready to play.
  12. I for a long time was always believing the hype every year from the Bills and was always so disappointed throughout the drought. Last year I told everyone before the season that I had low expectations and wouldn't doubt we tank for a QB. I set the bar very low 3-4 wins if lucky. This year I am taking a similar approach and after seeing our brutal schedule and O-line play expect a similar outcome. If McDermott and company can somehow salvage this season and keep us relevant all year he will have had done one of the most incredible coaching jobs ever. The wild card is our defense last year they lived off of turnovers I believe that is unsustainable yet can keep us in games yet the additions on defense should improve us. We still have Shady and really only have a terrible o-line holding us back from being better than last year.
  13. We have Logan Thomas as an emergency 3rd he had one season where i thought he was gonna be a great cam type qb unfortunately he followed it up with a bad season
  14. Smart by FO not to be tempted by that incredible arm and put him in harm's way. Let him sit and learn his day will come. Until then it's Petermans turn to prove everyone wrong.
  15. I think and hope the FO already made up their minds with who will start and haven't named them as a gamesmanship ploy.
  16. If it was a true competition Peterman has played the best and most consistent of the three. He may just have a short leash with the Rook breathing down his neck. Aj should be third only because our oline is so bad.
  17. Better question is about that clock management. Not so good.
  18. I think we are all frustrated at watching the commentary over the last few years by people who didn't even watch the game and comment on highlights of the game in which Tuh Rod looked good. Missing all of the inconsistent throws misreads and dump off passes in between that kept his completion percentage up as well as very few turnovers. While actual Bills fans who watched the game could clearly see multitudes of opportunities to score evade us time and time again. We are all frustrated at the narrative that was pushed by the media in how he is so unappreciated and why can't they be happy with such a unique talent.
  19. It's funny how much this board is split. I for one had my eyes opened watching that game. Most of the miscues were not on Allen it was on Ford or the Oline or the WR making the wrong break. Josh did show that he threw the ball to the wrong spot as well. I think at least one of those deep balls should of been caught. He was under pressure allot and behind the sticks from penalties too many times. Having him play with the ones or even the twos I think you would see a different result. This team always seems to have some depth issues and you could see the drop off as soon as the third stringers came in.
  20. The Hall of Fame game at times was a little difficult to watch with all the penalties on what seemed like clean hits where they didn't lead with the helmet. They are asking defensive players to be contortionists now.
  21. He Already played for the Pats and they complained he couldn't grasp their concepts
  22. I think it is great the QBs are all together helping each other out and singing kumbaya. Although I hope each deep down inside have that competitive fire and are wanting that starting job.
  23. This is basically what most people have been thinking and just reaffirms my suspicions and how completion percentage is not an apples to apples comparison.
  24. Kelly to Reed, Lafontaine on the power play. Dominator between the sticks.
