  1. He is a veteran backup QB with a unique skillset and if Flacco is injured he may be able to hold down the fort for a little bit. Never hated the guy and he has a prove it deal smart for the Ravens
  2. I'm not just questioning his football IQ I am questioning his overall IQ not having proper representation. His mother is killing his draft stock he needed to run the 40 and show people what they supposedly already know, he is fast but how fast. His wonderlic score isn't doing him any favors and this fiasco could make him a late first possibly second round QB.
  3. It seems like the reason he likes Allen is the same reason he doesn't like Darnold. Very confusing to me why Lamar Jackson who is incredibly raw could in any shape or form be a higher pick than Darnold. I think he is just trying to get clicks and be controversial.
  4. Really terrible what happened to the Philadelphia Eagles I wonder if they will ever recover. SMH
  5. Tyrod should be able to stop the bleeding in Cleveland and not have them beat themselves with stupid turnovers, beyond that he has proven he is not a world burner and a stop gap QB at best. They are drafting a QB unless they pull off the most Brownsy move ever and load up on a RB and probably a LT if they were smart.
  6. I live near Tampa so I pull for the Bucs as long as we aren't playing them.
  7. There has been some correlation between the wonderlic and reading defenses and going through progressions. They prefer a QB with a 25 or better how much better is irrelevant. By Jackson taking it and scoring so low he is raising red flags about his ability to read and dissect defenses as well as go through his progressions. There are a few outliers Derek Carr and Cam Newton more recent examples they both scored 20 or better. Tyrod a solid 15 nuff said.
  8. So many people have Lamar Jackson and Mason Rudolph as their late first round guys. They are considerably behind the top 4 guys and Rudolph is borderline second rd. So to say that the most refined passer in the draft will go behind a system QB that will have a huge learning curve coming into the NFL is blasphemy.
  9. I honestly think Jameis Winston is holding them back. I'm not alone on this. He has incredible talent and arm strength athleticism you name it. After years of check down Charlies in Buffalo I think Jameis needs to learn how to check the ball down occasionally always trying to make the wow play instead of moving the chains and getting the first downs. He definitely is fun to watch though and Mike Evans is such a beast I wish we took him instead of Sammy.
  10. The only thing similar between Cleveland and Buffalo is the weather. Other than that on the football side of things Buffalo is a team on the rise with what appears to be solid coaching great team chemistry and a solid fan base that would worship a successful QB. So to say that the Dumpster fire in Cleveland is similar to Buffalo really makes no sense to me at all. I know we are scared of California hot shots coming to buffalo and failing because it has happened. Rosen just has the look and feel of a franchise pro ready QB looking to succeed.
  11. I live in Florida in Bucs country so I do occasionally hit up a sports bar to watch. This year is looking like a sit home watch NFL network and possibly open the laptop with some take out wings and beer hoping we trade up so I can scream in Joy and run around the house. I'll try not to kick a hole in the dry wall this year!
  12. I think even if we drafted Allen and especially Allen of the top 4 QBs he is the biggest project/ work in progress and may not even start a game this year for us. So that being said he could have little to no effect on this season. Rosen and Mayfield are more pro ready than Allen and I think Darnold is going to have a rough curve as well.
  13. I say offer both 1st rds this year and 1st next year to move up to 2nd. If we make the playoffs again next years pick will be in the 20's anyways. We take Rosen who appears to be most pro ready and can make all the throws. His question marks are durability and attitude, from what I've seen he has matured in college quite a bit and attitude really hasn't been as much a factor as of late.
  14. You could give up the farm and have a franchise QB for a long time as well. You could get the best LB in the draft and he could get hit by a car the next day too. Anything is possible but if we sit tight and hoard our picks or don't improve at the QB position we will always be a the middle of the pack. If we don't draft a top 4 QB this draft we have failed to take a chance at what could bring us over the hump. Yeah we made the playoffs last year and were a QB away from the second rd with many other glaring holes. With good QB play we win I would say at least 3 more games last year.
  15. 25 is the bar with a few exceptions. Tyrods big time 15 says allot about his inability to see the field. Cam Newton had a 21 and Derek Carr a 20 but for the most part successful QBs are at 25 or more and anything more than 25 really didn't make them any better or any worse.
  16. We should probably just toil in mediocrity with this team for eternity due to the fact that it costs way too much to take a chance on what could be a franchise Qb. I don't understand this reasoning or the we have way too many holes to trade up. I think Beane has done a good if not great job filling as many holes as possible in free agency so far. Trade up and take a chance on what could be a game changing QB I personally am sick of getting leftovers and has been and never was type QBs. Trade up because that's why we loaded up on draft picks to do and get your guy no matter the cost that is the biggest and has been the biggest glaring hole on this team for a long time now.
  17. I mentioned this the other day. Him choosing not to run the 40 makes him somehow believe that he can carry the combine with his throwing ability and thus far not so good. I watched the highlights of his pro day and it really wasn't impressive at all. He kept putting the ball in bad spots for the receivers making them dive or fall down after the catch. If his mother is being overbearing and he doesn't get an agent that could be a fatal flaw in his future. Terrelle Pryor 2.0
  18. I read somewhere that most good QB's have a score of at least 25 and that's really the bar they are looking for. I see Cam and Derek Carr are both below that and may be the exception to the rule. They also stated that anything above 25 really didn't seem to make any difference on whether they performed better.
  19. None of these QBs are flawless they all have questions some bigger than others. Rosen checks all the boxes as a player when it comes to Accuracy, Footwork, Arm Strength and throwing with anticipation. His question marks are his health and some people are concerned that he is opinionated. He has had teammates come out and stand up saying he was a great team player. Darnold has had allot of turnovers and he concerns me with his decision making sometimes always looking to make the splash play and throwing caution to the wind. Allen is just a huge question mark across the board. I have seen games where he looked great and others where he was mediocre and missing on allot of throws. Mayfield checks all the boxes with leadership and he is a total gamer. He is short and rolls out of the pocket allot but has good touch on his passes and accuracy.
  20. I am saying take the Picks we have if we are not getting a QB and load up with talent to surround him. Maybe a Calvin Ridley at 12? He hasn't played in that many games yet to where I am comfortable in saying he couldn't be the answer. He has been up and down.
  21. We all know he can run. What we don't know is how he measures up against the other QBs. I get it he doesn't want to be key holed into being just a running QB but at some time you have to flash the goods. Am I Right?
  22. McCarron could become a Case Keenum type for the year and surprise us all. If we use our picks and add weapons to the offense and defense I don't see why we couldn't make a run if he plays decent. 3,500 yards 20 td 10 pick type year with an improved defense and solid run game just might do it.
  23. I just keep seeing things about Lamar Jackson coming up short in allot of areas and higher ups and GMs really not taking him seriously as a QB. Apparently his mother is Representing him and telling him not to run the 40 at his pro day as well which just seems stupid to me. I have watched multiple Louisville games and it always seemed when the competition was good he struggled. Where as Deshaun Watson would rise to the occasion. Saw him always trying to make the big play and rarely checking down. He did keep his eyes down field when rolling out. Missed allot of throws though. Many have said his mechanics need allot of work and his accuracy just isn't there. I know someone will show a highlight reel of all the throws he can make, I'm just not sold mostly because I am continually reading things calling him a huge project. Mayfield's height scares me, but I love his gamer mentality very Phillip Rivers like minus the height. Rosen has poise and great mechanics as well as accuracy absolutely love this guy. Darnold has great creativity, but again seems to always try to hit the home run instead of live to play another day. Allen is raw with a cannon could be great could be terrible only time will tell. Rudolph can probably be a solid QB in the right system I don't see him being a superstar.
  24. Elway and Favre always had rockets and could really sling the ball a long way. Jamarcus Russell threw it through the uprights from 70 yards on his knees that's hard to beat. Vick had the flick of his wrist and the ball just flew out of his hands arm strength too. The jury is out and who knows.
