  1. 3 coming back. 2 on IR. Leaves one more spot to go. Barring injuries to someone else...my guess is Codrington is a goner still or possibly Milano ends up on IR.
  2. The coaching issue comes from calling a play for a handoff to a guy that hasn't had one in a live game in 6 years in that spot. And let's also just say that not everything Josh says is factual. He plays nice a LOT in the way he phrases things and how he frames his answers.
  3. Barkley had a LOT of touches last year. That wears on a body. Historically, the year after a RB had a 2000 yard rushing season, there's a dip the following season. There are of course exceptions, but this was always likely the season he was going to have after last year. That and long stretches of games go by and they don't hand it to him. Play calling has been very bad for Philly this year
  4. Your second sentence is part of the reason why your first sentence is true. Just arrogant play calling IMO.
  5. https://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/sports/football/nfl/bills/2025/10/09/buffalo-bills-sean-mcdermott-joe-brady-offense-too-cute/86595781007/ McDermott and Brady address the offense being "too cute". Brady seems to justify it. McDermott doesn't seem happy. And I think he's correct. Look for Buffalo to get back to basics and downhill running this week IMO.
  6. I like Shaheed. He is a legit big play guy. However, last year when he missed time the Saints signed a freshly cut MVS off our roster and he made some big plays too. I just don't think we run a system that can use deep ball receivers well. So if we get Shaheed or another guy I don't think we use him properly anyway.
  7. I'm not going to get into the gripes of the penalties that should be called, or if it's a football play or not. The OP asks how to stop the play? You stop it on first and second down. You don't let em get to the 3rd and inches. Understand that's easier said than done. But win the early downs and it's not an issue.
  8. I understand the instant take because the Pats came in and beat us. But they are far from contenders. The next 3 weeks, Buffalo should go 2-0. And I don't think the Patriots have it as easy as some think with the Saints and Browns. As we saw in our game against them, the Saints are a scrappy team. They could very well win. And I don't think the Pats beat Cleveland. Their defense is too tough. Sure, they should stomp the Titans in what will be a Vrabel revenge game. But I see them going 1-2 over the next three weeks.
  9. I'm willing to bet we have seen the last of Hamlin this year and even further, in a Bills uniform. He's an OK depth/ST player but Bishop continues to make strides. No reason to bring him back. Losing Samuel is something we are used to at this point. Just means Moore will likely be active. As good as Kincaid has been so far this year, I'm not worried about him being out. Should mean extra snaps for Hawes. Would like to see what he can do with a few extra targets. With Atlanta being vulnerable to the run, it may force us to play our two best run blocking TEs more.
  10. We can only hope..
  11. Can't figure out why Wilson is still even the #2 QB. They have Jameis Winston on moth balls. While he's not a great QB either, he's better than Wilson at this stage of his career. And tons more fun to watch
  12. I think the offense has a bounce back game. And I thing for all the worry this week about Robinson, the defense contains him reasonably well. And I don't think Penix is good enough to beat us. Bills 33 Falcons 20
  13. Here's a potential issue The Chargers just lost Hampton yesterday after losing Harris earlier in the year. They have very VERY little at RB. And anyone remember who Harbaugh had at RB in San Francisco? If you said Frank Gore Sr, you would be correct. I believe at some point this week they will be in the market to nab a RB off someone's PS. If not now, should they lose another guy at the position definitely will at that time. I'm fairly certain Gore Jr's name would pop off the page to a guy that coached his dad. I am hoping the Bills take a shot and see what they have in Gore before he gets poached. They have already had him around for a year. Time to see what he's got before someone else does.
  14. I didn't realize ripped passes at the LOS counted as a PBU. If correct that throws another alarming thought out there. Our front isn't getting in the throwing lanes and batting balls at the line either.
  15. While I concede it's not the end all be all for evaluation, Milano has "earned" a 30.2 grade on PFF. Even when/if he comes back I don't thing he's a better option than Shaq going forward. Heck, even Dorian Williams is graded 4 points higher. For those wondering, Shaq is the 4th highest rated at the position with a 90.2. Again, it's PFF so take it for what it is. But it actually sums up what I've seen by the eye test very well.
  16. Wow. I found the only other level headed fan on here after a loss😂😂
  17. -Babich I thought had a fairly decent game last night. Got some good pressure. Held them to 33% on third downs. Contained a mobile QB and stopped the run well. Yeah, Diggs had a day...but when he's dialed in he's tough to stop. - I agree. We need something new on offense. Limiting Allen's turnovers has been a welcome focus over the past couple years, but they need to push the ball down field sometimes too. Even if it does result in an arm punt now and then. - Ray Davis is a concern. I have been wanting to see Gore for a game or two for weeks. There really is no purpose to having Davis active if he's getting 2 touches a game. - In the same thought as activating Gore for Davis, I wouldn't mind seeing Kristian Wilkerson in place of someone (Samuel, Shavers) for a week or two. But yes, they really need to buck up and find a WR before the deadline. However, it may be like giving a blind man a Lamborghini. It may be nice but can Joe Brady actually use it or will it sit and do not much like other offensive weapons we acquired near deadlines like Cooper and Hines?
  18. Darn. I was hoping the bmBucs would wear their creamsicles for that one. But I am looking forward to the Falcons and their throwbacks against us this week. I swear the uniforms for the 80s and early 90s were so much crisper. Of course, that may just be me liking the old uniforms from teams from when I grew up. Like the Seahawks yesterday. So much better looking. Yeah, I should know better and just take the next few days away from here. The doom and gloomers win the week. But even in the loss there are positives that will go unnoticed. Third down D was good. Pass Russ was better with some aggressive blitz looks. Stopped the run and a mobile QB. And heck, Kincaid had a great night. Stuff to improve, sure. But stuff to build on as well
  19. Up: 3rd down and rush defense. -Pats held to just 3/9 on third downs and only had 71 yards rushing on 22 attempts. And that's with Maye being a mobile QB which has given us fits this year Pass rush. -Recorded 4 sacks and could have been more if not for Maye making some good plays. Dalton Kincaid. It's amazing seeing him play healthy this year as opposed to last year playing hurt. Honorable Mention: AJE AJ gets a lot of heat on this board (and some is deserving) but he balled out last night. Down: Tre White/Taylor Rapp Not sure how much lower these two can go, but they seem to go further down each week. Neither are starting caliber, and White is lucky to be rostered IMO. Presnap discipline. This is two weeks in a row where the offense puts us in a hole to start with mental mistakes. Joe Brady. Just some terrible play calls last night. Trying to be too cute with some of the plays. YO-YO OF THE WEEK KEON COLEMAN. This seems to sum up his career so far. He will make som nice plays (that 3rd down grab where he out muscled the defender for instance) and show flashes. But then he will have a key drop or do something else dumb. The fumble last night was a huge play.
  20. Well, yeah, anyone with eyes knew coming in New England had a better defense even before the game began. Last night our defense was largely fine. Our offense being undisciplined and turnover happy was the issue.
  21. The defense -Gave up 71 rushing yards on 22 carries. -Held the Pats to 3 out of 9 (33%) on third downs -Recorded 4 sacks -Forced 4 punts and a turnover They did their part last night.
  22. I see someone is having big feelings today.
  23. And many have them have been on the fire McDermott/Beane bandwagon since their third year here. It's not like this year people are suddenly saying it's been long enough. Y'all sound like broken records over the last decade.
  24. That's just flat out false on two fronts. First off, when McD got here we were not even "in the hunt" by Thanksgiving many years. Now we are an almost automatic playoff team year after year. That in itself is closer to their goal. They have eluded and at times flat out said, a Super Bowl win would be great. The the team is content making the playoffs yearly and giving themselves a chance every year. And they have done that. The teams goal of getting, as Beane has said, numerous bites at the apple is being met.
