I feel like Josh is in more commercials then the rest of the NFL players combined. -

Is the first head coach firing upcoming?
BuffaloBillyG replied to BobbyC81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Daboll should be gone tomorrow. He was lucky to start the year as the HC. I think Mara keeps him, however, because he has other issues to deal with health wise -
While missing out on Strong kinda sucks, it does clear the path for Max to get to see snaps when he gets back. I want him to play as much as possible before the playoffs and have him ramped up completely. He can be a difference maker if fully up to speed.

Josh is so good in any interview. Just so effortlessly likable.

I wonder if it's money that was counting against the cap that now isn't. Something such as GameDay bonuses from some guys. If they weren't active, that cash goes back to the cap. So Milano missing time, Samuel not being active the first three games, Oliver missing time. If any of them have a bonus based around being active, that money goes back to the pot.

10/5/2025 GAMEDAY Bills vs Patriots Gameday Thread SNF 🍁 🏈 🍂

Man, this is exactly the type of early season "gut check" game we had with the Patriots year after year during the Brady era. We would grab a couple of big wins, head up to Foxboro with hopes and dreams of something special, only to have Lucy yank the football away and see out Charlie Brown Bills fly through the air and crash. And we end up getting crushed. Now, we are on the other side of that. I give Vrabel and the Pats credit. They have looked better than last year. I do see the hope they have with Maye.kid is pretty good. But at the end of the day, Lucy will pull the Ball and the Patriots will crash. -
Yeah, there has been growing groundswell over the last week that what we saw wasn't actually what we all saw and that he was actually pretty good. Because Joe Marino told them that.

Field Logo & End Zone Change for Tomorrow?

Haven't heard but the end zones being whited out would look pretty good for a night game IMO -
Diggs coming back to Highmark Sunday Night

Ok, who are the 3 people that picked 3+? I feel like we have the right to know so we can keep them from pointy objects. -
Former Ravens kicker Justin Tucker suspended for 10 games.

Honestly, even putting aside his legal issues, he wasn't good last year anyway. I really wouldn't want to be the GM to take on all the questions about a once great but now apparently mediocre kicker. -
I guess I would fall more in the "hopeful" category then the "confident" one. Getting Oliver back will help. Milano back would be a bonus. Still not sure what Hairston will add...but it can't be a huge dropoff from what we have had out there and he has the potential to be a bonus The PED guys. All areas that we could have an improvement. Will we? That's anyone's guess. I do think if we see results closer to the Saints game (they converted 5 for 13 on third) we will be ok. If we see more weeks like the Dolphins game even after those guys get back I think we need to see McDermott take back play calling.

Diggs coming back to Highmark Sunday Night

I voted 1. I think he gets a short TD reception. Vrabel likes to try and "stick it" to teams. Example: him trying a "home run throwback" against the Bills. I think the Pats will have some play earmarked for Diggs to score. Being that Diggs has primarily played slot for them, I'm curious to see him go up against Taron. -

BuffaloBillyG replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
All fair points. However as we have come to know Josh has that inner drive to succeed and improve. That's not something that is learned. I think he would have succeeded in spite of the Jets. Either with them if they were patient enough, or without them as Sam Darnold has been doing over the last 16 months or so. -
People were saying Daboll was really good too. Then he left the Josh Allen bubble. Brady has had success here. And he had success his year at LSU with Burrow/Chase/Jefferson. If he goes somewhere without a franchise QB he's doomed like so many before him IMO.

Baltimore was 6-11 on third down. As you said the Jets were 0-11 (but 3 for 3 on fourth down), Miami was 10-15 and that helps boots the season numbers and the Saints were 5 for 13. So the Dolphins game aside teams are 11 for 35 against the Bills on 3rd down. That's 31.4%. That would be good for #2 third down defense in the NFL. Now I'm not saying execution and/or play calling can't be better on 3rd down. They can. But with the small sample size of 4 games, perhaps it's not as bleak as we think and can show improvement.

I'll agree that Allen could have been ruined by the Jets. But I also think much of the reason for his success was his inner desire to improve and the work he did with Jordan Palmer. I don't think Palmer gets enough credit for Allen's progression.
