  1. Yeah, I agree. I'm big on going with what's working, and yesterday without Keon it was working well. The only caveat I have is that if Kincaid is still out, which I expect, AND Shakir had any kind of setback, I would have him active to work in the slot with Palmer and Gabe outside.
  2. I really think it had a lot to do with the short turnaround to a Thursday game. Not sure they thought he way physically ready to play 2 games in 5 days. I fully expect him back on Thursday.
  3. I have a LOT of respect for Milano. Guy has been a damn warrior for years here. Always could come up with a big hit or turnover when we needed it. And he was out best kept secret. No one outside WNY really knew how good the guy was until later in his career. He's provided a lot of outstanding snaps for this team. But, time and injuries have come to pass. While he will remain in my personal Top 10 favorite Bills of all time, he just doesn't have it anymore. He could possibly serve a role as depth, but his time being an amazing player is over. I thank him for his time here. But it's time for him to go.
  4. Bought a new Bills coffee mug and used it for the first time yesterday. Had to retire the old one after the Miami game.
  5. Mills isn't a bad QB. He has a much lower ceiling than Stroud, obviously...but I think he has a higher floor. He will be steady. I said in the off-season, Rudolph should have been the starter in Pittsburgh and they should have passed of Rodgers. Aaron doesn't offer anything more than Rudolph does these days. The team likes playing for Rudolph as well. He can execute the gameplan and doesn't turn the ball over a ton. Honestly, I think I'd rather play against Rodgers because he's a statue these days
  6. So I'm going to assume you wouldn't want to kick back to them because you don't have faith in the defense to stop them from scoring? So it would in effect be a 9 point swing rather than just a 2 point on the safety and making a stop on defense. Would that be correct? With this defense, I'm not saying it's wrong. They very well may have given up a longer TD drive. But, the outcome now is already known. The defense shut it down and only gave up a FG. But in the moment, all outcomes were possible. That easily could have been a pick 6. They easily could have (and probably should have) converted that into a TD. With the variance of the outcome unknown and without the benefit of using hindsight, it was an incredibly stupid and wreckless play on Josh's part.
  7. You would give up a FG (3 points) over a safety (2 points). Weird but ok lol. We were very fortunate to hold them there especially with this defense. I don't have the numbers but I would assume the TD% of a team beginning inside their opponents 10 yard line is astronomically high. In short, we got really fortunate.
  8. I actually think, and I haven't watched the All 22 to confirm yet, but to my eye out WRs were getting decent separation yesterday.
  9. Did you not watch Josh early in his career? His first INT was classic Allen in his first few years. Just pushing too hard to make something outta nothing. Those are the plays they have tried to coach out of him. And rightfully so. No need to take a big risk on your first possession that deep in your own territory.
  10. I have been a big supporter of Shavers going back to last year. After last season I predicted he would challenge for a roster spot. I was laughed at. But as a main roster guy he's reminded me more of Isiah Hodgins. He will see a high percentage of special teams snaps. He will see a few offensive snaps. He can make a splash play here and there. But he doesn't need to be featured by any means.
  11. I disagree about straight up cutting Keon at this point. And no, I don't hold out much hope he improves. But where we are right now, Shakir is banged up for the second time this year. Kincaid is missing games for the second time this year. That's a lot of slot snaps that are in flux. I would hold onto Keon. Who knows, maybe he puts it together. But, we will potentially need someone to soak up some slot snaps at some point this year. I would hang onto him (they are paying him anyway) and see if we can squeeze something out of him at the slot. And if there are more behavioral issues we don't know about and they really want to move on from him after the year, it would potentially be better for his trade value if we can coax some good slot reps out of him.
  12. With so much football left to be played there really isn't a strong indication who will play who this far out. Buffalo can still get to the 1 seed or they can still miss the playoffs altogether. Likewise with all the other teams. For giggles I've run the same simulator. I come up with us playing Denver quite a bit. I come up a few times playing Jacksonville, Indy and Pittsburgh as well. Point being, this far out anything can and likely will happen. Teams that should win games will lose. Injuries will happen. Don't stress on the Ravens just yet. Plenty of time to do that once the seeding is more clear.
  13. I did not realize he married Manti Teʻo's ex. Good for them!
  14. Are you talking about Josh's second INT? I believe that was intended for Shavers. And it looked on TV that the DB really broke on the ball hard. Was a great play by that dude.
  15. With this defense, it would be all about matchups. Like I would be fine playing Pittsburgh, the Chargers, Jags, and even the Chiefs. Those teams don't scare me on the ground. Now, Baltimore, Indianapolis or Denver (if JK Dobbins is healthy) and we will literally get run out of the playoffs IMO.
  16. Agree. He's aggressive and fun to watch. But if I were a Lion fan I'd probably want him gone.
  17. Yeah, guys get got on a weekly basis. AJ may not be a premier edge setter, but I'll give him credit on improving over the years. Remember the Patriots Wind game where her kept getting blown up by a WR? He's come a long way.
  18. Fair question. I would think it's because they want Bosa out there to rush the passer on other downs as well
  19. If Bosa missed time it would hurt the pass rush, yet I think it would give a boost to the run defense.
  20. I always liked Bernie. Was underrated in his day. Hope all goes well for him.
  21. The real cringe is when adult men use the word "cringe"
  22. The issue is we kept designing a defense and personnel that would beat Kansas City. Lighter guys that can move. Over time the NFL saw the trend of lighter LBers, not just with the Bills either. The days of a true space eater and run thumping LBers are gone. Which over time has led to more ground game. FBs are starting to make a comeback. Teams playing 2-3 TEs. We just don't have guys that are adapt at stopping the run.
  23. Mason Rudolph. Just in time for Christmas. Honestly, aside from name recognition, he isn't really a huge step down from Rodgers.
  24. Gonna curb stomp em.
