  1. You mean Slay? If so, he can stay home. I hear it's gonna be too cold for him. Savage should be active next week.
  2. The thing that I liked about this game, it had the same snowy conditions as the Playoff loss. It's almost like going back in time and getting a chance to reset that timeline
  3. The only thing I can think of is recovery of an onside kick is super low. So, kick it deep and hope you can hold to a 3 and out...and you would in theory get the ball with much better field position for a short TD drive. Not saying that's what I would do, but I can see that train of thought as well.
  4. I like how he says he would punch Pete in the face. First off, he's bragging he would punch a 74 year old man. Not the flex he thinks it is. Second of all, I think Pete would whoop the hell out of Portnoy
  5. Sure. Sack/strip/fumble and scoop and score.
  6. Hm. I guess not every QB has the skill to catch his own pass for a TD
  7. I kinda want to see them hit the 7 seed. Take out New England round 1, Denver round 2. Meanwhile, we take out Pittsburgh and the AFCS champion. KC at Buffalo in the last game at the Ralph? Chilling
  8. I thought this thread was going to talk about Allen would throw 40TDs to Jamar Chase if he played here.
  9. Chiefs playoff chances drop to 16% with a loss
  10. And Chief lose an OT on the opening kickoff. Chiefs start 3 and out... I wanna see Mahomes peeled off the grass with a spatula by this pass rush
  11. He probably has...but Terry isn't exactly a member of Mensa these days
  12. If this guy had even slightly better than average weapons and a capable defense, it would almost be unfair.
  13. Yeah. Giving up 2 firsts plus a recent highly picked WR for a CB with less career INTs than AJE was a bad move.
  14. It's the QB play. While we suffered since Jim Kelly, the had a non-stop run of Favre, Rodgers and now Love. Heck even before Favre they had Don Majkowski who was pretty good and always fun to watch
  15. Coleman reminds me so much of some of the young guys I used to supervise. Just lackadaisical. Happy to be seeing a nice paycheck. He doesn't convey that he has any drive or desire to be a key piece. He is a poster child of someone who just doesn't love football. He loves the idea of the pay check. He will likely see a second act in the NFL. After his first contract is up, can see someone taking a one or two year chance on him. Then bounce around a bit. Then just disappear.
  16. I don't want to get too far ahead of myself. However, I'm really excited to see what this secondary looks like next year. If a few things happen- Benford stays healthy all year Bishop continues to ascend Hairston makes it through TC healthy and learning. We have 3/4 of our defensive backfield covered for next year and depending on who is at that 2nd safety spot, it could be a elite secondary.
  17. Yeah, well even if they lose they likely win the division as well. We would need the Dolphins to upset them in New England or the Jets to beat em. It's probably not happening. Just win and control what we can at this point.
  18. We have seen this game almost all year. Defense looks lost in the first half. Plays good enough after the break and Allen/ Cook bring is back.
  19. And now their season is basically OVER!
  20. Has anyone checked in on all the gloomers from the 1st half thread? I hope nothing bad happened to them. They were very quiet in the second half
  21. You don't need Mommy. You have Josh Allen.
  22. Josh Allen, the last few weeks, has quietly played himself back into the MVP conversation.
  23. I like it. Played to win. Aggressive play aaaand this one is OVER!
