  1. I don't have faith the Colts can win on the road. They still seem like paper tigers to me. Now, Johnathan Taylor may get hot and carry them, but I don't see them beating the Chiefs in KC. Hopefully, I'm wrong.
  2. Darn it. Us beating the Texans this week would help clear the path for Kansas City and Baltimore providing they both win.
  3. McDermott can be justifiably criticized for a good number of things. Justifiably so. Not being thorough and being blind to things like Hardman's fumble struggles is not one of them. And yes, the Chiefs let him go. Then they traded to bring him back at one point last year. Then they let him go again because unlike the Bills, they were successful in upgrading their WR room. That doesn't change the fact they won multiple Super Bowls with him on the roster. One of which he was a VERY key player in winning.
  4. Yeah, I don't fear Daniel Jones. Now Johnathan Taylor on the other hand...
  5. I'm pretty sure Beane and McDermott were well aware he puts the ball on the turf from time to time. But he has speed that you cannot teach. There is a risk/reward with every player and they appear willing to take on Hardman's. He's not going to kill us. The Chiefs were able to win championship after championship with him on their roster. Good teams can overcome.
  6. I think our momentum carries over and we get off to a fast start. Bills-34 Texans-16
  7. I really don't think any of that mattered to Stroud when picking the listm
  8. I don't even have an issue about him naming people of color. If that's how he lists it's fine. But at least be humble and not include yourself after being in the league for a cup of coffee. Also, the most offensive thing to me is that if he wanted to name all people of color....pick better ones. Dak over Jordan Love is an abomination. Heck Russ Wilson has a better career resume than Dak.
  9. He should be gone tomorrow.
  10. Chiefs Colts is intriguing. On the one hand, this will be a VERY desperate Chiefs team facing a losing record for the first time in a really long time. On the other hand you have a Colts team that needs to prove they can beat talented teams. It should be a battle. I'm rooting for the Colts here. We need to take care of our own business of getting the division lead before I worry about seeding. Chiefs losing pushes us closer to a wild card spot if we can't catch up Jets/Ravens could be interesting. Our old buddy Tyrod is starting for the Jets. Obviously, we should be Jet fans this weekend. We should be wearing our orange and black stripes as well as we NEED Flacco to ball out and bet the Pats. Unfortunately, as slim as the odds were...they got slimmer with both Hendrickson ruled out and Chase scheduled for a one game suspension. Maye should put up some big numbers on that Bengal defense. Start ALL New England players in fantasy. I'm actually hoping the Steelers beat the Bears. For the sole reason being, if they keep winning Baltimore can't pull ahead in the division.
  11. With Q Williams joining Kenny Clark I personally think Dallas has the best IDL in the NFL.
  12. Truth There are routinely long periods not the season I forget that the Raiders still exist. Which is a shame because they are a once great, historic franchise.
  13. Actually, my friend that was an excellent bit of information. Haven't even thought about Siran Neal in years. You're on point. Once upon a time, when the Bills released someone they were out of the league not long after. I remember so many picks that we had that just flamed out of the league. Some would get second chances elsewhere (Ko Simpson springs to mind) but they wouldn't stick.
  14. It was fun to watch. Kudos to the other 10 guys that didn't do anything so blatant that refs were forced to toss the flag. Hopefully, he can keep it up. If he can he just may earn himself a few extra offensive snaps and touches. Another chance for him may be a good thing.
  15. Never let facts distract from a cool conspiracy theory.
  16. Davis Mills is who we would be facing. If we go into the game and piss down our leg...well Miles Davis it is.
  17. I'm going to go out on a limb here. I think if you showed these stats to Beane he would say "Yup, I'm well aware" and still sign him. The thing is, Beane and McDermott are a lot of things. Thorough happens to be one of them. I predict that they both knew those numbers and are willing to absorb some of the bad for some of the good. They needed a jolt to the offense. They needed a jolt to the return game. He can provide both. And he did in the first time he touched the ball as a Buffalo Bill. I think they are willing to take the bad plays in stride if he can provide a bit of needed juice. The guy had 3 days of practice and hasn't touched a ball in a live game since preseason. I think the likelihood that he wouldn't have his best game right off the bat was high.
  18. Let's see what his practice participation is this week. I don't expect him active Thursday. He was ruled out fairly quick. I think he survives. They gave Codrington a LOT of chances before cutting bait. And he offered nothing as a CB. Hardman at least may offer something on offense. My prediction is he's inactive due to the calf this week, and yes I think it's a legitimate injury, and then he has 10 days to heal up, get more practice time in and be active the following game.
  19. Absolutely. And getting gashed by the run, in no world should Bosa be the leading DE in snap percentage.
  20. Bishop is the future of the room. Rapp, Poyer and Hamlin should be wishes well on their future endeavors. Hancock shows some promise. Lewis is a valuable piece, and would like to see him play more NCB going forward.
  21. Some notable things. WR snap counts almost even (except Hardman).
  22. It's got the same feel for me as the people yelling for Brady's head because he's "too cute" with the play calling, but pine for Daboll to be back.
  23. Honestly, I dislike the idea. As we see this year, if any of these guys are on the roster, they are one play away from seeing significant snaps. I'd even throw Jordan Phillips on the list. I think having a guy or two like that could be a benefit, but if you're filling the bench with guys that have no business on the field anymore and injury bug hits .. you're in deep trouble.
  24. Mills has won the last 2 games for the Texans. He's not incapable. Gonna be a challenge either way IMO.
