  1. I'm wondering cut Morse/re-sign Mongo to play center is a possibility. I know the sample size is small but he seemed to play well when called on to replace Morse.
  2. Williams might be slightly cheaper after yesterday's game...he was not good at all. I think we end up re-signing Williams or Milano but not both and if I had to pick one it would probably be Williams.
  3. To all of the people here that hate Mahomes...why? He's an amazing player and seems like a good dude. Yeah he's not a Bill but I think it's okay to like players on other teams. I also agree that anyone rooting for the Bucs to win the game should have their head examined. Literally anyone over Brady should be a pretty automatic Bills fan opinion. If Hitler was QBing the Chiefs, I would root for the Chiefs.
  4. They had to play with what they had & they had to know that they weren't 100% all week so I put a lot of that on Daboll. I despised the game plan yesterday.
  5. I already suggested this in a different topic but for me it's Kyle Pitts. If he falls to the middle of the first round, you make a move to get him...I just don't think he makes it to the middle of the first.
  6. I really don't get how so few commenters put so much of the blame on the backs and so little on the offensive line/scheme. I get that it's frustrating watching Motor consistently getting stuffed at the line of scrimmage but is that really because he's slow, lacks burst & isn't a home run hitter? Motor and Moss were both at the bottom of the league in yards before contact but Motor was near the top in yards after contact and Moss was middle of the pack. Maybe a bit more speed means they could hit the hole faster but I really think the issue is that the holes weren't there in the first place either because the line simply doesn't run block well or the scheme doesn't create holes. I do think that getting a back is a good idea but I think drafting one in the first or second round would be a mistake especially if it means trading up to get one. This gets a little off topic but since a lot of posts have talked about the draft what the heck. Forget RB in round one but if somehow Kyle Pitts manages to slip to the middle of the first round or even to the 20s, you absolutely have to consider trading up to get him. I believe that he could end up being the same type of generational talent that Kelce is.
  7. Question to members that are hypothesizing a trade that is two firsts plus a QB (Tua, Darnold, Daniel Jones, etc.)...do you think that's what Houston would consider equal value or is it what you consider equal value? If it is the latter then you REALLY need to take a look at trade compensation for players not remotely as valuable as a franchise QB. I have seen a few comments saying that Jacksonville shouldn't be in the mix for a possible trade. Um, why on earth not? I get that Lawrence is a great prospect but he's still exactly that...a prospect.
  8. And last week - in response to that brutal no fumble call at the end of the game - Steve Tasker was all of us. I honestly thought he was going to drop an f-bomb 😆
  9. Here's another fun tweet about the pick six 😍 That's the first that I saw the game being shown like that but looks like a freaking great time!
  10. As always, Jerry played his a** off. I get that he doesn't have the same sack numbers that he had back in Mario/Kyle/Marcel days but other than actual sack number he is statistically still a very very good pass rusher. Always loved Jerry because it really seems like he took a hometown discount after his breakout years and all he has done since then is work his tail off.
  11. Since I focus on the Bills I almost take the arm strength for granted, right up until I watch another game. I know it isn't fair to compare the two but I swear I can throw harder than Brees at this point. And as much as I hate to say it, I'm amazed at how much zip Brady still puts on his throws.
  12. I want to print out every single one of these eye popping tidbits and staple them to Nick Wright's forehead.
  13. Just a random observation. Is there a rule that blonde football players have to have hair at least a foot long?
  14. Guys, most important news of the night? JA won me my fantasy league 😎
  15. Watching Tua has made me appreciate Josh and his insane arm strength even more because sometimes it looks like it takes everything that Tua has to move the ball downfield. I had to poke around a bit to find it but I remember seeing this before the draft and did a double take...keep in mind this is before this season & without Josh's improved mechanics...
  16. Man, I keep forgetting that Miami gets Houstons #1 this year. They are going to end up with a great player at that spot.
  17. This has been a really great thread! I think a better question could be will teams be more likely to take a risk in the draft rather than make a mistake...risks can certainly become mistakes. I really think it takes a near perfect scenario for a team & organization to be a good combination. If you flip Darnold and Josh what is the scenario for both teams and players? I think Darnold ends up looking pretty good and Josh ends up looking pretty bad and that's not taking anything at all away from Josh because I do (now) feel like he's the better player. I also het scared because that combo can be disrupted so easily...look no further than Carson Wentz. I appreciate Josh and I appreciate the coaching staff and front office but really I appreciate the whole collective organization more than any single part. Man, isn't it nice to be able to say that as a Bills fan!?
  18. Honestly it looks like about 10 different people have already discovered that. The combo of his nose and his voice remind me of the chicken lady from Kids in the Hall.
  19. Great as always Virgil! I think the Johnson play was not only a great play to switch the momentum of the game but also for the season itself & is right up there with the forced Cam Newton fumble as one of the more important plays of our season the keep our momentum & overall trajectory going. I love that those two plays were made by someone other than stars on the team as well. Really seems to show that this is a real team.
  20. All of these shows are the sports equivalent of cable news. It is all about hot takes and not analysis.
  21. I think he looks a bit like an off-brand Clay Travis & he seems to make points about as awful as Clay's as well.
  22. That was entirely too informative...you have no business on a message board
