  1. Dallas. And it isn't close. Not even remotely. I hope we go in there and quiet Jerry's world right down on Thanksgiving.
  2. Glad I'm not the only one noticing this...
  3. Me too, but I hope like hell that they don't. Would be fun to watch it burn for a couple years.
  4. I don't think we should GAIN spots if that were to happen. I'd expect us to drop or at the very least, stay put. I have no problem with leaving someone where they're at after a loss like that... but not gaining. You are what your record says you are.
  5. It would take me all day to break that down... just goes to show how quickly things can change in the NFL.
  6. Really enjoyed that, man. They should have him mic'd up every week. I loved that quote from Lee Smith... something along the lines of "I've known you enough to know it's not about you when we do well, so it's not about you when we mess up. It's on US." This team truly is a family and the guys have each other's backs!
  7. By what metric? If you're looking at yards gained vs. yards allowed, the Bills are 8th in the league on offense as far as total yards, 5th in the league as a defense in yards allowed. That sounds pretty balanced to me. Does the offense still have work to do? ABSOLUTELY... especially in putting points on the board and finishing these drives. But the point is, I wouldn't say "the defense is still twice as good as the offense."
  8. OK, then don't. Still, 5-1 over that same stretch, with that only loss being to the Champs in their building in a game that Josh statistically outplayed Brady. I mean isn't that the point of posting it, to get people talking about it? The OP is right... it's not anything I've heard talked about, except this thread.
  9. I trust Coach McDermott and Beane to make the right call here. I'm not worried in the least about which one they pick.
  10. DEEEEEEAAAAAAD giveaway!
  11. Haha me too. The second he hears the siren he's ducking and covering ?
  12. Haha! That was awesome. On a side note, does that dude slam a couple RedBulls before the "Angry Runs" segment every week?
  13. This is kind of where I am. If they lose, but play a tight game and prove they belong, I'll still be happy. Would be even happier with a W, but that's a given.
  14. And a town that would probably support pro football WAY better than LA, especially an LA with 2 teams. I mean, is what @clayboy54 said untrue?
  15. I think this is huge. Not that the Patriots won't be prepared for him to run, but based on what's on film through the first 3 games this year, they're certainly not making it their focus. Last year, that's all you had to prepare for against our offense, basically. But this year's passing game balances that out a bit, where they have to focus there. This is a team you have to throw every thing at to beat, so if it's one more thing to keep them off-balance, I'm all for it.
  16. That's an extra first down on every drive you're asking your offense to go out and overcome.
  17. My hope is that they've been intentionally not showing some of their offensive abilities, specifically the deep ball game before week 4. This is something NE does all the time, and Daboll knows it. Don't put it on film, and then come out and surprise them with something they're not prepared for. Or I could be severely over-thinking it. Sounds good though!
  18. Oh I remember. Those teams were different though. They weren't nearly as well-coached, and definitely didn't have a stud, playmaker QB. Lightyears different from 2011.
  19. Yes, but not quite as good as the guy that saved those girls in Cleveland.
  20. Had a guy at work today tell me he was ready to join Bills Mafia... I told him (in jest) the initiation is letting me suplex him through a table.
  21. I'll take Josh taking risks and making big plays vs. the Tyrod Taylor method of never throwing the ball to a guy unless he has five yards of separation any day of the week
  22. Really? THAT'S what we're going to nitpick? That was a win full of heart and determination. It was pretty fitting considering how the game went down.
  23. Holla. All aboard the process train.
  24. shhhhhhhhh.... don't let the Josh haters hear you... His escapability is nuts. The play where Sweeney should have gone up and got it was ridiculous, as was the one of on 2nd and 4 down deep in Cincinnati territory to set up 1st and goal. on that game-winning drive. Guy had him dead to rights and I've watched it over and over and can't figure out how he got out. One thing's for sure. The kid has the grit and the heart to do this. He never gives up on a play, to a detriment sometimes (hero ball crap yesterday). But if he gives me 10 of those crazy insane plays and 2 boneheaded ones each week, we're going to win a lot more than we lose.
