  1. Its a tough one. The Bills are at least IMO a 8-9 win team which puts them in the late teens and upper 20's draft wise. So the real question I guess should be would you give up the 18th-20th pick next year and Lawson this year for Clowney this year.? Clowneys not my first choice but we need a pass rusher and I have to admit that him and Hughes on the edges with Star and Oliver in the middle is very appealing.
  2. Doubt he gets released. They cut Malik Jackson and restructured Dareus so they can keep Campbell. But, he would look great in a Bills jersey.
  3. Even though I feel Gore would've faired better behind that line because of his within the tackle running style, he still would've had a tough go of it. I think both him and Shady will thrive with the new and improved O line.
  4. I think we're looking at Kroft, Croom and a battle between Sweeney and Dawson for the roster spot. Loser goes to the PS. I can see Fisher getting cut.
  5. I missed the part in my post where I claimed to be holier than thou. Please enlighten me. Was it the NFL/ 5th chance part? What part of that sentence isn't true? Did I strike a nerve? If so, my apologies. I did wish he gets his life in order and not once did I state loser, headcase, degenerate or any of the sort. And though you don't know me it goes without saying, Ive got plenty of sin.
  6. One would assume he'll be a primary blocking TE and a safety valve on slow developing plays. He looks terribly slow in that Youtube vid.
  7. Ah... The NFL Where every one gets a 5th chance.. Hope he gets his life straightened out.
  8. If we are winning games then this would be ideal. A 4000 yard season would be impressive but to me it would also indicate the run game is sound and effective and the defense is doing their job.
  9. I'll give it 2-3 years before I make such judgment. You may be right, but it's way too early. My only concern is his lack of break away speed but his elusiveness is something special.
  10. Looks like he's going 0 for 2. Could you at least acknowledge the kid played out of position and has been a consensus Top 5 pick for the last year.
  11. Don't think Roberts is going anywhere. His primary purpose is to be a return specialist. Don't be surprised if they acquire someone better than Zay, Duke and McKenzie when teams start thinning out their rosters for cap relief.
  12. Always felt Clowney is over rated. You'd think with Watt and Mercilus he'd produce over 15 sacks a season. Jones would give Allen and the Bills the big threat this offense needs.
  13. After watching his highlights one thing is certain. If the refs call holding like they should he's gonna make blockers draw a lot of laundry. He's being held so often fro the Zero tech position its comical. There is no way the refs can ignore him and Hughes, can they? The guy is all out effort and explosiveness on every down.
  14. No way do they pick up his option at that price. They can probably get Ziggy for that amount.
  15. Morten Andersen Jan Stenerud Ray Guy Short list.......
  16. Ooohhhh... I missed that one. What did he say? Link?
  17. JEEZ! Not this again........... Can't we at least take solace in knowing that we've exceeded these so called expectations and predictions 2 years in a row now. I don't expect the trend to stop this year either..........10-6
  18. The only thing I'm sure of is that Morse will be at Center. If I had to guess I'd go LT Dawkins LG Spain C Morse RG Long RT Ford From what I've read Ford is a better pass blocker than run which will come in handy against edge rushers that don't traditionally come off the left side. In the current NFL landscape, the overwhelming majority of top pass rushers play left defensive end or linebacker, which means they line up across from the right tackle. That includes J.J. Watt, Von Miller, Khalil Mack, Justin Houston, Joey Bosa, Vic Beasley, Cameron Wake, Cliff Avril, Markus Golden, Ryan Kerrigan, Carlos Dunlap, Cameron Jordan, Jason Pierre-Paul and Danielle Hunter, a 22-year-old rising star who recorded 12.5 sacks for the Vikings last year. Ford is a massive upgrade over Mills.
  19. I don't like the idea of trading for Clowney. IMO he has not lived up to his draft status and though he's a decent pass rusher I don't feel he's deserving of an elite contract. He strikes me as someone who will mail it in once he gets paid. I think the presence of Oliver will greatly help Hughes and Lawson this season.
  20. ? C'mon . Like mentioned above, he's a social media gangster.
  21. Beane must have put a spell on Gettleman and Mayock to allow Oliver to drop in our laps. The player the Bills wanted was there for the taking. The rest of the draft is where the real sorcery happens. Round one was nothing, wait til Beane yells out Patronus!
  22. Meh. Still, he and Levy were the best GM and HC ever in modern Bills History. But, I wouldn't want neither anywhere near my organization unless it's some type of team nostalgia event. We all get old dude, shoot Levy was a bitter old man when he coached the Bills...LOL..
