    He's a "good" player, but has nowhere near met the hype he received coming out of LSU. Neither has Malik Hooker for that matter. He's got a lot of mouth which in turn receives a lot of attention. I do like his physical play though I'm not trading my ball hawks for a decent thumper. It's not our style of D on the 4 man back side.

    Someone is not going to get touches from week to week. Could be any of the 4. You're not gonna pull a particular back when the guy playing is slicing up a defense. I do feel Shady and Gore will get the Lions share with TJ and Motor sprinkled on 3rd downs. In case of injury it's good to be this deep.

    Not trying to paint the Bengals as incompetent. Just trying to acknowledge how refreshing it is to have a FO with vision. Not sour on Jonah as a player, but you don't pick him at 9 over Oliver in any scenario. Pretty certain they favored Ford in that range.

    It would "Look" premature. A little off topic but I don't feel like starting a Thread. Who was the better player heading into FA? Shaw Lawson or Preston Brown? I find them both to be to very similar in the sense that their both serviceable but not spectacular.

    Totally agree. Ford and Dawkins are the future bookends of this O line. Providing quality depth while learning the craft is not a bad problem to have. Best man plays, if it's Ford, awesome.
