  1. Really dude? Bradford was the starter going into the season before he got hurt and Keenam took over. Bridgewater was gone before the season even started, but yes, TECHNICALLY he was the 1st string QB before he got hurt in training camp.
  2. Nope..... When was the last time a team that had to resort to their 3rd string QB for any prolonged period made the playoffs? If at any time we need to use our 3rd string QB for any reason outside of mop up duty the season is lost.
  3. He's not getting cut. Dolphins are tanking this year and their best bet to put forth the worst product possible is to keep Kiko on the team.
  4. Love Fitz! He's one funny mofo! Fitz doesn't necessarily make a team better or carry them on his back but given sufficient talent around him like in Tampa he is quite capable of impressive play.
  5. I'd say cut the guy but only Daboll knows the extent of his usefulness in the offense. Personally I don't see it. When he was acquired the big deal with him was his blocking. Meh........
  6. Anybody watch the video at the bottom with Tirico, Dungy, Florio and Harrison? While the first 3 express good things coming including possible playoffs Harrison takes it upon himself to disregard the Bills and Allen. He states not enough talent, poor O line and Allen's reckless running. Even jokes to Florio after he expressed positives on the Bills, " I thought I smelled alcohol on you!" How this scumbag of a player is taken seriously as an analyst is mind boggling. I submit for your viewing pleasure. https://www.nbcsports.com/video/will-steelers-offense-remain-elite-without-antonio-brown-leveon-bell
  7. To be fair the Pats do sport 2 or 3 extra defenders on the field during a game,... unfortunately their uniforms are striped.
  8. I knew his preseason woes were nothing but a smokescreen. It looked like he wasn't even trying, just punching the ball instead of snapping the leg through the kick. Pretty sure we see our "Hausch Money" kicker back to his money ways this season.
  9. 11-5 is our ceiling. 12-4 is our vaulted ceiling 13-3 is our vaulted ceiling with sky lights.
  10. He may not be a starting caliber talent but a quality back up QB in the NFL can carve out a very comfortable living and make more in one year than the average person makes in 30-40 years. Matt Moore is the first that comes to mind. I'm sure once he came to grips with his limitations and what he is capable of he embraced it like you said.
  11. I'm nervous every year. I would've liked to open with the Giants or Bengals instead and build momentum going into the Jets game but it is what it is. To me that games a toss up. Both teams are looking for a big turn around and they are at home. I'd feel better if we were home. Good test moving forward.
  12. What else is new. ? I'm sure you'll find many people that agree with me and many that will agree with you. He was a motivator and his players loved him, but we weren't winning a SB with Marv at the helm. All Pro talent everywhere and got outcoached every SB.
  13. Marv Levy sucked as a HC and sucked even harder as a GM.
  14. Its a shame one of these guys may not be on the roster. Both have had solid camps. Gun to my head, I'm taking McKenzie.
  15. Was watching the Jets last night and Q. Williams has looked beastly. I think Oliver will do just fine but the Jets picked the right DT. He is a plug and play talent in any scheme. Oliver has shown flashes and once he's really let loose he may shine. I've seen him in the backfield a few times and I've seen him whiff on some plays as well. We really need another pass rusher opposite Jerry. Murphy is underwhelming and Shaq is not a pass rusher.
  16. This is true. How motivated are you going to be calling a preseason snoozer that features players no one will remember in a month.
  17. I have no doubt he'll be a good player but when you give someone a free release and no QB pressure these things will happen
  18. I think the refs are showing me everything I need to see tonight.
  19. Even Bucky Brooks is softening his previously negative opinion on Allen. Feels he may prove the doubters wrong. FANTASY SCOUT'S NOTEBOOK < PREVIOUS Published: Aug. 23, 2019 at 01:47 p.m. Updated: Aug. 23, 2019 at 02:30 p. Bucky Brooks NFL.com Analyst +Follow on Twitter Print Josh Allen, quarterback, Buffalo Bills: I'll admit to questioning the long-term potential of Allen when he was selected seventh overall despite being a sub-60 percent passer in college. However, the Bills' QB1 acquitted himself quite well in Year 1 as a dual-threat weapon with spectacular running skills and impromptu playmaking ability. Allen became the only QB in NFL history to pass for 200-plus yards and rush for at least 100 yards in back-to-back games. No. 17 led all quarterbacks with eight rushing touchdowns and finished second among signal-callers in rushing yards (631, trailing only Lamar Jackson's 695). Although the Bills would prefer for Allen to do his damage with his cannon arm, the running skills certainly add an element to his game that makes defensive coordinators stay up at night. With the Bills surrounding their young QB1 with a stable of catch-and-run specialists on the perimeter (see: Cole Beasley, John Brown and Zay Jones), the second-year pro could really break out in 2019.
  20. Gruden was high on Peterman well before he fell flat in Buffalo. Gruden most likely blames his misfortunes on a lack of development and QB coaching. No ill will, hope the kid does well.
  21. Adam Schein GMFB, especially Kay Adams Chris Simms Michael Robinson Trent Dilfer Mel Kiper If you look hard enough there are plenty of writers and analysts that are high on Allen and the Bills. Unfortunately many homers will feel offended if everyone doesn't agree and acknowledge improvements made to the roster and possible success. Same old song and same old solution. Win! The much needed respect and acknowledgements you and I crave will follow.
