This is complete and utter hyperbole. Just two years ago Eli led the Giants to an 11-5 record and threw for 4,000 yards. If you think their GM and Coach are worried about ten years from now you havent paid much attention to the NFL. It's a year by year business. Eli Manning in the near term, and thats what counts in trying to keep your job is a much better option than a rookie quarterback. If the Giants draft a QB at #2 who probably doesnt see the field until next year, the GM and Coach are already wasting two years of their contracts waiting for a QB to get good, if he does.

QB is more important than pass rusher, I agree. Except the Giants already have a Hall of Fame quarterback, and another prospect developing behind him. I completely disagree. I think the Darnold smoke has been 100% about trying to rob people of draft picks.

The Giants no longer have a #1 pass rusher. They have Vernon who is a nice supplement, but don't be surprised when they take Bradley Chubb at 2. I think Cleveland trades out of four to move down for a LT and Barkley slides to #5 to the Broncos.

The sky is not falling. The Giants will not take a quarterback number two and the Bills have plenty of picks to move up to #4 and get Darnold.

If Darnold gets to #4 and a bidding war starts, the Bills are squarely in the driver's seat. People keep mentioning Arizona, but it will for sure take 2019 #1 for them to get up there, they dont have the ammo not to. Patriots are a wild card, but I'd be surprised if they move up for Darnold.

I am fully convinced if Mayfield goes 1st, that the Jets take Rosen #3. He is closer to the mold of the QBs their GM and OC have taken in the past. Getting prepared for Darnold to be the guy the Bills take.

Thats a good range for someone like Ronald Jones, who I think is quite impressive. If they decide to draft one at all. I think Carlos Hyde and Duke Johnson is a pretty solid pair or runningbacks.

Cleveland needs to pick a quarterback at #1 and then move down and take McGlinchey in the, lets say #12 spot. No way I would pay Hyde $5 Million a year to sit behind or split carries with Barkley. On Chubb, you need a franchise LT before you need a 2nd pass rusher. So long story short Garrett is right. They need to use both picks on offense.

Does every just assume Mayfield is the Jet's guy at 3? Any other report that's come out pre-draft has been dismissed as a smoke screen but somehow the Mayfield to the Jets rumor is the one we all accept? I suppose it could very well be true, but I think the Bills move up to #4 and have the choice between Darnold and Mayfield. I think Allen goes #1, and Rosen goes #3.

If this is the scenario, this board is going to lose its mind when the Bills pass on Rosen for Josh Allen. I still think Allen goes #1 but I guess we will see.

It's going to be Allen. In my opinion, its been Allen from the beginning. It's the reason they wasted a third round pick on Tyrod. They knew they were going to draft the guy with the highest ceiling and let him sit for a year behind a veteran. Just like the Chiefs did with Mahommes last year.

He's a bad head coach. He is 9-39 as a a lead man in the NFL. Dorsey's guy will take over next year.

I still dont know why he wasnt fired after last season. You could tell Dorsey wanted him gone when he took over.

Personally think this is a pretty weak take. Its Steve Tasker, not Michael Jordan. He wasnt getting endorsement deals for God's sake. Even if he did have a bank full of money its not always good to sit at home on your former merit. I would imagine a few of his teammates regret doing that.

If Lamar Jackson wants to play running back for the Bills Id be all for it. Get it done OBD.

Given the quarterbacks drafted by Dorsey, and to a lesser extent Hue Jackson I think this has always made the most sense.

However, I would like to hear more about how Dan Orlovsky is convinced Allen doesn't know how to read defenses, because that actually makes sense given his horrendous film.

23 touchdowns a year in college now qualifies as "gaudy" I think Jackson has an incredibly strong arm and out of this world ability with his feet, but you need more than a strong arm to be considered a "terrific passer." Everyone is entitled to their opinion on him, but my opinion is he can't read an entire field and is wildly inaccurate at times. Long term I think he ends up being a guy that flashes early, makes incredible plays, and wins you 50% of your games.

Stopped reading this when he wrote "Jackson is a terrific passer." The guy is either prone to hyperbole, or just completely wrong. Lamar Jackson has a ton of athletic ability, but if he is drafted in the first round it wont be because he is a "terrific passer"

I imagine it would take Arizonas 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th to move up that high. Exactly half of their draft, and 3 of their 4 early picks. I would think they are the team more likely to pick Allen if he drops.

Maybe not but listening to NFL Network radio Friday and the hosts said Giants brass believes Eli has 4 years left in him.

The fumbles bother me, but I am fairly certain the interception rate is on par with Rosens. So if that bothers you about Darnold it should with Rosen as well.

Was watching him earlier and my three year old daughter asked me to "turn off the creepy guy"
