  1. No he just tweeted a bunch about how Trump sucks, how big of a golf and soccer fan he is, and how domestic beers are less amazing than imports to push it down his Twitter timeline. Come to think of it Jeremy White and Schoop are slowly becoming the same person.
  2. My prediction is absolutely nothing is happening beyond a massive upswing in twitter followers for this guy.
  3. When I imagine this, Newton leans in for the hug but misses slightly.
  4. It's not funny, but my thinking is this was an issue prior to football. Otherwise, I think Richie's story is a pretty good lesson in being up front with your intentions, and also not biting the hand that feeds. The Bills came and got him when he was poison in the NFL. He gave a ton back, but should have been up front that he didn't want to take a pay cut. Now he is in a situation where if he ever gets another opportunity, I dont think he will, it will be for veterans minimum. Should have stuck it out with the Bills.
  5. Remember that time when he almost traded for Andrew Luck? Feels a lot like that time.
  6. All well and good but for the last few years he hasn't shown to be motivated. Not sure he is even marginally better than the guy who starts at 3 tech in Jacksonville's defense Malik Jackson, pretty much a toss up. Not even sure the guy starts the year on the active roster as he is still facing a possible suspension, and he was only a rotational player for them last year. I am glad we got a 6th round pick for him.
  7. The fact we got a pick for someone else to pay his 16.5 million dollar salary still boggles my mind.
  8. Did that tweet above say we took Pryor off their hands? When did that happen? Is this the Mandela Effect happening right before our eyes?
  9. He has talent, but honestly think he was over drafted to start with. Productive in college but he played in an offense with one of the most basic route trees going and he never had to block. Hopefully his limited time in Cleveland helped him learn alot because his speed is unreal.
  10. Going to go ahead and assume its the 4th from the Ragland trade.
  11. Feel kinda bad for the guy here. I sure as heck wouldnt want my belly hanging out on tv. Still, it was fairly obvious Friday night that the Allouettes need either a new coach or a complete roster overhaul. This is outside of Manziel being terrible. The teams give a damn was on the wrong side of utterly complacent. Pretty obvious when you jump offside and then watch a back go 15 yards. Or when 10 guys allow their quarterback to sprint 40 yards to make a tackle on an interception when they were 30 yards closer to the ball carrier. Some of the worst football I have ever seen. Rivaled the 2016 Browns.
  12. Jerry Kramer was incredible tonight. Was happy I tuned in for that one.
  13. I remember reading a few articles about KB around the time his mother passed away. He, for a multitude of reasons, was having an incredibly hard time and the team wasn't really supportive of him. Including going to the press about the weight gain following her death. I am not sure many of us would react differently if we were in his position. I for one support the guy and hope he tears it up this year.
  14. It wasn't a GM. It was an owner forcing his GM to make the pick because a homeless guy promoted him to. The GM got fired. The owner hired a lawyer to replace him, and then fires him too. It's good to be the owner.
  15. Starting to wonder if Siran Neal, Austin Proehl, and Ray Ray McCloud start the year on the practice squad or come up with a season ending injury a week before cut downs.
  16. Montreal looks like the team at the start of every feel good chump to champ sports movie.
  17. 2nd pick was off a tipped pass one of us could have caught.
  18. Montreal just jumped off side and gave up a 15 yard run on the same play. This is some awful football
  19. Bad enough that TJ Graham is a starter.
  20. Yikes. Nothing good about that.
  21. Nothing else to do. May as well watch the CFL.
  22. Anyone still have tickets for this? Was supposed to take my son to boy scouts camp but had something fall through. Trying to make it up to the kid by taking him to blue and red.
  23. Kevin White, Dion Jordan, Justin Gilbert, Bjoern Werner?
  24. Total contract is one thing, but the per year numbers would speak to a much different scenario. The three highest paid by year wideouts are Brown- 17/yr Evans- 16.5/yr Hopkins 16.2/yr Defensive Tackles Cox 17.1/yr Short 16.1/yr Dareus 15.85/yr So, I think its closer than we think. In terms of what 3-4 Defensive Tackles make a year (the scheme Donald is currently in) Michael Brockers is the highest paid guy at 11.083/yr My chart is attempting to show that when comparing the players you mentioned in your previous post, the Wideouts meant more in terms of success in the playoffs. Lot of variables there, most notably quarterback.
  25. I wasn't saying the players aren't successful. What I am saying, especially in the Ram's case, is if you have to choose between paying a player who never has the ball in his hand, vs. a player who has the ball in his hand multiple times a game (Gurley or Goff) I am choosing the guy who has the ball. In the instances you brought up, lets just take DT vs. WR (not including Sapp and Joe Greene here because they both played in different eras- More ground and pound ball control offenses) Position Regular Season Win % Playoff Win % SB Appearances DT 54% 0% 0 WR 49% 50% 1 In this scenario, if I have both Antonio Brown and Aaron Donald on my team, I pay Brown 100% of the time.
