Looks like they beat the NBA in ratings for last night
-
So is the game today not on locally?
-
I enjoyed it. Liked not having kick offs more than I thought I would and the speed of the game has been better than expected. I'll tune in tomorrow but too late on the east coast to watch the rest of it.

Making too much of a deal out of a rotational guy who shouldn't be paid more than 2 million dollars a year. He is a average to slightly above average player, who just happened to get cut from the team that drafted him. The delay is the Bills offering him what he is worth, and he and his agent waiting to see if they get more in the open market. It's a good Defensive Tackle class, and the Bills should be playing this slow. No need to rush over Jordan Phillips. He is fun to watch, but having him or not having him wont make much of a difference overall.

Anyone here work in healthcare?

I work in Regulatory Affairs for a Medical Device company. Does that count? -
I dont disagree with you. These leagues usually dont have much of a shot. However, with this one allowing players to go straight from High School we will at the very least see if College can survive without recruits, or if the recruits finally figure out they arent the ones driving college football. My guess is CFB will just find other players and move on.
-
We will have to see. I feel like college football is slowly coming apart at the seams with players sitting out bowl games, and people pushing for players to be paid (which I dont think should ever happen). The Pacific Football League, or whatever they are calling it could be damaging to college football with their allowing players to play directly out of high school and get paid to do so.

Ill give it a whirl. No different than watching college football to see who could make the training camp roster. It's also still a good time of year to stay in and watch the games.

Does anyone else find it super ironic these parents are disgusted at what the teacher does during her free time, but seem to have no problem that their kids easily found porn on their phones and spread it on social media. Maybe it's time to take a look in the mirror folks. Maybe even put a block on your kids access to the thing you find disgusting enough to have a person lose their job over.

There’s just so much going on in this story

This story, in particular his mug shot, proves demons walk amongst us. Quiet Riot? -
I am not as sold on the tackle class as the writer here. When I watch Jonah Williams I see a guy who really should be playing inside. He doesnt have great feet, and tends to lunge at defenders rather than using his balance to create leverage. Saw multiple instances where he whiffed on blocks trying to throw his weight into guys. However, he does a great job pulling and blocking in the run game. I think he is a better prospect at guard. I havent watched much of Greg Little or Dalton Risner yet, but Ford and Edwards were predominantly right tackles, I still have a few games to watch, but neither jump out as elite left tackle prospects which is what you need to get if you're drafting top ten.

Careful With Those DNA Tests!

My wife's results outed her 93 year old Grandmother. Wife had two first connection relations she had never heard of. Come to find the old gal had an affair on her husband, which produced my Mother in Law. The kicker is the guy who produced my Mother in Law has one full daughter with his wife, and about 5-6 other children from flings throughout Western New York. Apparently he frequented bars throughout Rochester and parts of Orleans County. Now all these kids he produced are showing up as relations on ancestry, 17 years after he died. -
I'll watch to see how it goes. Kind of excited for 2/9. I do wish they tried a little harder with the logos and jerseys though, yikes.

Sean Payton the legend

He comes across as a not so tough guy, who thinks he is tough. The post makes it seem like you could see the shirt without the use of a microscope. When it comes to trolling the Commish, Matt Patricia wins this round. -
Dolphins Plan to Tank

I'll buy 5. My eyes practically bugged out of my head when I heard there may be shirts. -
Dolphins Plan to Tank
thenorthremembers replied to ProcessYaDigg's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought they were tanking the last two years when Gase let emotional decisions decide how he coached a football team. Cutler, trading Landry, cutting Suh, signing Frank Gore and using him over Kenyan Drake. Not sure who wants to tank worse the Dolphins or the team who just signed up for three years of Space Case Gase. -
One player I've noticed moving up draft boards is Riley Ridley from Georgia. Can someone tell me why? Aside from being Calvin's brother I see a slower than average wideout with suspect hands.

A Few Thoughts on Witten

Exactly. Shouldnt be that easy. While we are on the topic of trophies, can the NFL please bring back the old AFC and NFL championship trophies, those things they have now are an embarrassment. -

Jakobi Meyers is one to keep an eye on. Watching Kelvin Harmon game tape and Meyers pops out as a good possession option. Isnt as big as Harmon but seemed like the go to for Finley. -
Metcalf is incredibly physically gifted, however I dont see the route tree or the hands to be considered a top 15 pick. I feel like he is more of a 2nd round guy, but I didnt like Patrick Mahomes coming out either so what do I know.

I like Hakeem a lot. I havent watched all the wideouts coming out this year, but think I would rate him #2 behind N'Keal Harry at this point. His 40 will be something to watch as he does seem a little slow, but JuJu Smith Schuster and Michael Thomas were not burners coming out.
