Terrelle Pryor in Buffalo! Update: He's signing!
thenorthremembers replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I dont think the Bills are going to be stoked about he and his agent using them to try and draw interest from other teams. Pretty clear the guy doesn't want to play here if he is currently weighing his options between sitting on his butt in Ohio or playing in the NFL. -
Terrelle Pryor in Buffalo! Update: He's signing!

Call him a bum if you want, but over the last 25 some games he has been as productive as the other bum we decided we wanted to deal away a 3rd round pick for. If you sign him and trade Benjamin, even for a 7th round pick, you probably get the same amount of production and save over 4 million dollars doing so. At the very least he adds some speed to the group. -
Browns: HC Hue Jackson fired

Can see Mike McCarthy in Cleveland next year. If he isn't fired I would assume they hire Eric Bieniemy from KC. -

Where are all the darnold rosen and Mayfield fans?
thenorthremembers replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Still would take Mayfield, everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. -
100% agree. Haven't found much joy in watching college or the NFL. Was spoiled last year with the Bills and Mayfield at Olk.

TNF: Fish at Texans 8pm

Think he could be a top ten back in the league if he played for a team who used him correctly. Gase seems to be the type of coach that allows his ego get in the way of common sense. Drake is a free agent after next year. I would love to see him here. -

I like Kenyan Drake a ton. I dont understand why Miami doesn't use him more in every aspect of the offense. -

If they trade Derek Carr I will eat crow. That said, I dont think they are trading him. -

I am one of the few who didn't mind the Mack or Cooper trade. In Cooper they traded a possession receiver who has never caught more than seven touchdowns in a season, has suspect hands, and whose name is much larger than his actual output, getting a 1st for him was insane. Mack is more of mystery, but if you can get two first round picks for a player who isnt a franchise quarterback go for it. The guy is getting closer to thirty and was going to demand over twenty million a season. He is a great player, who gets a ton of media hype, but I still dont see him as a Von Miller level player. Gruden knows its a quarterback driven league. You have to score points. If he can take those three first round picks find a good wideout on a rookie contract, a good runningback and a decent right tackle he will have something. He will be well off using the 65 million in cap space, and the three first round picks to build around Carr. Mack and Cooper would have counted for about half of that cap space alone. -
Bronco's cut Chad Kelly

I am not 100% sure I wasn't the "bad crowd" at 24. I wish the guy the best and hope he grows from it. -

Very gifted quarterback, and would have been a 3rd-4th round pick had he not had a terrible track record. Loved watching him play in college. The kid gave a great speech at Jim Kelly Camp this year. He talked about this very thing. Working harder than anyone else, and not letting bad habits or bad crowds ruin your opportunities in life. Honestly feel terrible for the kid. Was hoping he could keep his stuff together because he would have been a great role model and story for younger athletes. -
What is your final straw?
thenorthremembers replied to benderbender's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Same for me. I expected this season as well but it's a complete waste of time to spend hours watching a team that cant compete in the least. I love the Bills, have for a very long time, but I prefer watching college football at this point. I will probably tune into the first half Monday night but I am not going to bother going into work exhausted for a meaningless game. When Allen returns I may watch more but it's pointless to watch Anderson or Peterman because I dont see a scenario where either is on the team next year. -
Woods, Watkins, Hogan and Goodwin
thenorthremembers replied to RPbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's on his third team in two years. The best offensive coach in the league did want him you're right, for one year and then let him go on his way. If you want to pay 14 million dollars for 52 catches and 2 touchdowns be my guest. For what its worth, I wasnt only talking about championships. Lest you forget the team everyone here is moaning about every week was in the playoffs last year. -

Watkins is on pace for 52 catches, 720 yards and 2 touchdowns for 14 million dollars a year. For the life of me I do not understand the obsession with this guy. Can someone please tell me what we won when these guys were on the team? -
Tampa Bay fires DC Mike Smith

Koetter and the GM should both be gone by the end of the year as well. One instance where its glaringly clear that character does matter in the league. -
Thank you my friend. My Dad was incredibly passionate about music. I pretty much grew up on weekend road trips to the House of Guitars, and helping him set up equipment early Saturday mornings for his band's shows later that night. Tuesday's Gone is my favorite of those three, but have grown real fond of Ballad of Curtis Lowe over time as well.

My Dad's all time favorite band. Can still remember him listening to the first reunion show with Johnny on vocals. Couldn't afford the pay per view so he just listened while the picture scrambled. I remember him tearing up during Tuesdays Gone, Simple Man and Free Bird. To this day if Tuesdays Gone comes on the radio I feel like the old man is standing right next to me. I know some people see the band as a bit of a stereotype but they mean a lot to my family.

No Free Agent Wide Receivers?
thenorthremembers replied to jtothebrown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am going to go out on a limb and say the Bills have never inquired about Dez. Given the manner in which Maclin turned them down last year, I would also be surprised if they inquired about him. The season a third of the way over and neither of them is on a team. If anyone wants to believe they are seeking a superbowl more than a game check right now go ahead and be my guest, but my feeling is neither of these guys have vast options. -
He missed close to an entire season of games with injuries. He also missed a game with the Rams with a concussion, so he didnt play the entire season. He was available in less than 80% of the games he played for the Bills. My bigger issue with Sammy is his hype is no where near his production, and he has proved that since he left.

Joe Flacco, Alex Smith, Eli Manning, and Ryan Tannehill all were worse than Allen in their first four starts. Russell Wilson and Phillip Rivers both had less passing yards in their first four starts. Jared Goff had a worse completion percentage in his first four starts. Will he ever be good, I have no idea. But to say that after four starts is a bit premature. Aaron Rodgers wasnt even a full time starter until his 4th year in the league. Try to remember this thing isnt a sprint.
