  1. I just started collecting again. Something I did with my Father, and now my son is old enough I've decided to pass it down. I've been sticking to wall of famer rookie cards and signed 8x10s. My son likes Tre White and Josh Allen. With Allen his autograph is already very expensive. I've seen some of his high end rookie autos going for close to 1k. I'll be honest the investment scares me a bit. The cool thing is Buffalo has a really nice collectors scene. We went to a card show last weekend, there is another this coming weekend, one April 7th in Syracuse and then again in Buffalo in May. You can check out Buffalo Sports Card Convention on Facebook. The shows are like Josh Allen card heaven. His cards are everywhere. It's a nice scene. My son bought a Tre White rookie auto with his chore money and the vendor gave him three rookie cards free, it made his day. Lots of Bills and Sabres fans spending time together. Good luck on your collection.
  2. I am in no way an expert but I watched a few of his games and thought he looked more like a 7th Round-Priority UDFA. He is incredibly slow, and for being called nasty got blown off the ball quite a bit. Doesnt play with leverage at all, and had a really hard time against good opponents. The Ohio State game from 2017 is especially poor.
  3. Agreed. Dude made a million and a half over his brief career. If he was smart with his money he can use that free degree he got and still do very well in life.
  4. Very nice signing. Like this one more than the Johnson signing. But they both make a lot of sense. You have two players still in their twenties, if one of them can beat out Wallace you can sign them more long term next year. Well done Beane.
  5. Let's be honest he brought the classic "high level business meeting" line to this board. He would make it in the TBD Hall of Fame as Contributor.
  6. Pretty torn on this one but I said no. You ultimately have to pay the guy 12.7 million for that year, 13th highest paid Defensive End in the league, just between Brandon Graham and Dante Fowler. Cap Room or not if you're not intending on signing him long term you can use the 12.7 and put it towards signing someone like Yannick Ngakoue who is a far superior player. You'd be better off letting him hit the open market and see if you can bring him back at a lower per year deal if you want him back that bad. He has been nothing more than a good rotational player who has missed 25% of his games. He doesnt have roster value at the 5th round option level. Pass Because he wasnt a top ten pick his option is the average of the 3rd-25th highest paid players at his position.
  7. 31 year old wide out who hasn't played in a game since 2017, tore his ACL less than 5 months ago. Do you mean sign him up to work concessions or the Bills Store?
  8. I'll stick to my Xanax.
  9. If it was anyone else I'd agree with you, but it's the Giants. They were pretty open and honest about the fact they were taking BPA available last year despite needing a QB then too. I think their GM and coach honestly believe that Manning has something left. I would not be surprised at all if they took a pass rusher.
  10. Wondering if anyone that visits these boards may have any of the following: 1963 Bills-Jones Rich Dairy "Cards" 1965 and 1966 Bills Coke Bottle Caps 1965 Bills Super Duper Markets Cards 1965 Bills Volpe Tumblers 1966 Bills Matchbooks I know these are probably a tough find being they are sold old but my interest is peaked as they contain a lot of "wall of famers"

  11. Around the time Brady retires.
  12. I know I quoted you, but my larger aim was to point out some of the good the kid has done as well. It seems like the board as a whole has taken enjoyment in the guys downfall.
  13. Not sure if that's sarcasm. But yes, thank you Jesus.
  14. He also took the time to speak to hundreds on kids at Jim's camp about the importance of making good choices and working hard. He did so by publically explaining what an idiot he has been. So yes, he has made mistakes, like all of us, buy not many of us have to humble ourselves the way he did. The backlash is about people being upset they never had the talent to get there in the first place. Cast the first stone if you've never done stupid things, I know I can't throw one.
  15. I've always hated this argument. At want point does "playing the sport" qualify your opinion as worthy? Lots of guys are here talking about sports they didn't play professionally. Where does it start and end? Do you have to play in college or high school for your opinion to count? Is middle school enough? It's baseless. If you want to use that argument some one needs to quantify what it means so we know who we should or should not be listening to.
  16. I think Jonah Williams could be a very good NFLer, at Guard. His strength is pulling down the line in the run game, The film screams guard to me.
  17. They should have about 15.4 million left to spend, draft picks included. Not sure how much more they are going to spend, they held on to between 8 and 12 million dollars for in season moves last year.
  18. Which means it will be neither of them.
  19. True, but they have to spend it somewhere. They will likely get him while Darnold is cheap.
  20. I think over the cap has him at 30. How bizarre.
  21. He is ultra talented, no doubt about it. But I wouldnt say sitting out an entire year and being suspended is not being a malcontent.
  22. It's because she has Shady in her back pocket. She has always been very tied to him.
  23. If we could get him for the second 5th rounder or the lone 6th, yes. He is young, but he hasnt been productive as a pass rusher. He is also on a one year deal so he essentially becomes a rental if you dont want to extend his contract.
  24. I am so tired of OBJ and Gettleman. Poo or get off the pot, two years of this nonsense is enough. If they trade him they eat 15 million of his 21 million dollar contract.
  25. With the rookie contracts and what they spent today they should have roughly 39 million left depending on what Johnson gets. I would imagine they keep 8 to 12 million for.roll over cap and in season free agent signings.
