  1. Oddest game ever. Bills cant get out of their own way. So many stupid mistakes.
  2. Would have been a perfect wrong answers only post.
  3. The consensus on Joe Douglas seems to be he is a good GM, I hear it a lot on the podcasts I've listened to as well. But when I look at the money he had to spend in free agency and what he brought back in return, I'd say he failed in that respect. Will have to wait and see on the draft picks, and I know he has only been there a year but they look like a JV squad and its not all scheme.
  4. They played it last night as well. For what its worth, its a really beautiful rendition.
  5. As another poster said, Deion has been a high school coach for a long time. He was the OC at his sons school as recently as this month, so its not all that surprising he would be moving up a level. I imagine he will try to use this job as a stepping stone to the Florida State job which I believe he wanted to be considered for before they hired Mike Norvell.
  6. I think thats fair. I agree Gesicki is not a well rounded player, he has also played enough that we know who he is. Knox still has time to work on his hands, so he may end up being the better player. At this point, I think they are playing at a similar level.
  7. Completely agree. Very similar players. Knox is more physical but Gesicki has better hands. Neither is anywhere near a top 5 tight end in the league.
  8. Hype is right. I dont know if its because he came out of Penn State if its his blonde highlights, but you hear about the guy everywhere. Listening to ESPN radio the other day and they were gushing about the guy. I thought there was another Mike Gesicki.
  9. He has good hands, and made some nice plays against the Bills last year, just dont see him as a key threat. Could be wrong with Parker and Williams both slowed by injury, but for the most part I think he is an average player.
  10. My favorite part of this thread is people acting like Mike Gesicki is George Kittle. He is an average tight end and can be had with physicality.
  11. Two. One when I was still in college for lapse of inspection, broke and lazy. Second about 10 years ago for speeding. Got a 45 in a 30.
  12. Given the Browns jersey he should have watched football for one quarter, turned it off when it was over and then did the rest.
  13. I am just as surprised about the Browns. They should be better than they are, and I still like Baker a lot. I think the issue with the Browns is they have a lot of personalities but not a lot of leadership. Still think OBJ can be a top ten player at his position, just not sure he has the same speed he had when he played in NY.
  14. I agree with most of this, but you could do a lot worse than Eli Freaking Manning. Odell is immensely talented, and got off to the sort of start that would have had in the top five of every major statistical category but he hasnt had over 80 catches, 1100 yards or 6 touchdowns since 2016. Now that he is 28 years old, and hasnt been the same since the ankle injury I'd wonder if he isn't on the downside of his career. Still a good player, but he hasnt been great for awhile now, and not all of that is on his quarterback.
  15. Patriots ended up with a ton of cap space somehow. I think it has to do with the number of opt outs they had. As such they could rent him for a year and cut him for nothing next year.
  16. He loves attention. And in terms of attention he went from the penthouse to the outhouse by going to Cleveland.
  17. I've reversed course on Lamar. I thought he was a bad prospect coming out of college (to be fair I thought the same about Allen). He refused to throw outside the hashes in college, did the same in his first two years. But with the game he had Sunday, including the wideouts, my mind has been changed. He has elite physical tools and has went to an organization who builds around him perfectly, both personnel and scheme wise. He is a top five quarterback in the league and I dont think you can make a legitimate argument he's not devoid of emotion of course. This is the real issue. They have hard feelings towards him.
  18. This right here plays into it in a very big way. There is nothing elite about Darnold. There is nothing about his game that you can rely on to take over a game. His arm is average, his speed is average, his accuracy is average. He doesnt have the physical tools to overcome a lack of mechanics. Generally, those guys end up as backups. There were a couple out routes he threw during the game that he struggled to get to the sideline, that is also something that becomes a big problem in the NFL.
  19. Best way to not have people singled out which is the point of a team..very well handled.
  20. Unless he works the rust off I agree. He looks slow, and the offense isnt very creative.
  21. The acceleration there was otherworldly.
