  1. Last week people were saying the opposite. I think the truth is he is an average player who may not be able to start on the team much longer. Feliciano is the better player, and with him coming back, and Cody Ford unable to play guard, I think Spain becomes a backup.
  2. Surprises 1 - Josh Allen, not surprised he is playing well, surprised how he is carrying the team on his back. 2 - Daryl Williams- If he keeps it up he can add another pro bowl to his resume 3 - Beasley- The guy is catching everything right now. Disappointments 1 - Tremaine Edmunds- I've never been a big fan of his. I think he gets a big push from the Bills hype machine. If he keeps it up he wont see a second contract. 2 - Defensive Tackle Play- Spending 18 million dollars between Butler, Jefferson, and Oliver and not one of them is a difference maker. Now you see why they paid Star what they did. 3 - Zack Moss- A running back who has been mostly inactive on game days for the Bills looks like he could easily outproduce Moss.
  3. My bad. Being an overly butt hurt fan yesterday. Was particularly fed up with the Allen flack on the postgames. Seemed like everyone was focusing on the bad instead of the good, and acting like the Bills were handed the game. Big Mea Culpa for being a jerk on my end.
  4. I honestly dont know why Joe Douglas gets a pass on this one. He had oodles of money to spend this offseason and ended up with Breshad Perriman and Chris Hogan as two of his starting wideouts. The team is a total dumpster fire. Watching Darnold yesterday you can tell the lights are all the way off. My only hope is they dont end up with the 1st overall pick.
  5. I think its over for Marcel, but at this point it wouldnt hurt bringing both he and Snacks in for a workout. If they dont fix the defense New England is going to be even harder to beat. They have to get more physical up front.
  6. Cool story. Did you read the one where he put them on his back today and won in spite of his entire team. Josh doesnt play hero ball today the Bills are 2-1. On Spain did the guy who told me all week that Spain was the most uderrated player on the team show up to this post yet?
  7. Late to the party. Spain was benched and deleted Bills from his social media?
  8. Pretty sure the Winnipeg Jets didnt make it to the Stanley Cup Finals, sorry man.
  9. As much as the Jets are awful I think he ends up in Carolina.
  10. Its over with. A long time ago in terms of NFL years. Time to move on. Unless he says something new....and then flame away
  11. His ability to get down the seam creates a lot of opportunity for our wideouts in the middle of the field. His blocking ability isnt talked about a lot here, but it's very good for a second year player who a lot of people see as more of a receiving weapon.
  12. Very good analysis and post. I disagree on the footwork and movement point on Spain. I dont think you can really put he and Morse in the same category in ability there. However, I do agree he has the mental part of the game down better than a lot of guards we have had come through Buffalo. I still think he is an average to just above average player at the position. He wears down later in games, and for me his performance in the playoff game last year was kind of inexcusable. He is a solid player for the team, and I wont be upset if he remains the left guard.
  13. Not for nothing, but if I go through my progressions and I see a 300 pound freak of a human about to crush me I tend to throw it to the first person I see open. These things are entertaining and good insight to how the chess game of football works, but it would hold a lot more weight for me if Peyton Manning was making these videos. A bit harder for me to take serious given the opinions are coming from guys like J.T. O'Sullivan.
  14. He was fantastic and maybe the best leader I've ever seen in football. I agree with you here, he needed to be drafted to a good organization. McDaniels wasnt/isnt head coach material and the Broncos were in win now mode rather than trying to develop him long term. Despite, that Tebow is still a really good example for young athletes. About to finish his book Shaken, very good read for people going through stressful times in their lives.
  15. Not saying he hasnt been good, but he hasnt been better Allen, Goff and arguably Matt Ryan despite his coach being a complete fool. Also, when did he beat the SB champs?
  16. The people who track the not giving up a sack stats are as bad as PFF. They literally dont know the Bills plays. Just because the guy standing in front of Spain at the start of a play doesnt get a sack doesnt mean Spain was responsible for him on a given play. Outside of Ford, Spain was the worst starter on the offensive line and he continues to be that this year. He is an average player at best. Not going to convince me he is good because an analytic site said he didnt surrender a sack. Saying that matters would tell you he is a better player than Dawkins, Morse and Feliciano because they gave up sacks and thats obviously not the case.
  17. Murray that high is laughable alone.
  18. He isnt wrong. Spain was terrible in the playoff game, and is just average to begin with. His cap hit next year isn't huge or anything, but it probably precludes them from putting Feliciano in at Left Guard when he returns, eventhough he is the younger better player.
  19. Because Milano is a better linebacker. He reads and reacts much faster than Edmunds.
  20. Thank you for the help. Lots of responses in my time, not many topics started.
  21. ESPN NFL.com CBS Bleacher Report One11Sports Not much of a move of the needle for a close win over the Dolphins.
  22. I'd agree, but they arent far off. A top ten team for sure but so are the Bills. Should be a good game.
  23. Thats correct. He generally has been a 1 tech for the Bills. Was beating out Star for time before the injury.
  24. Lol, no kidding. I guess his other famous buddies are busy. Imagine the two left over coaches who are suddenly having lunch with Prime, T.O. and Warren Sapp everyday.
  25. He has talented veterans ahead of him. He will get his time. Luckily the Bills have built the roster well enough where draft picks dont need to be starters "off the bus" anymore.
