Edmunds was average to begin with. The Bills did a good job of PR on him but he has been the second best linebacker on the team his entire career. He is getting abused without Milano out there. Right now he isnt playing well enough for a 5th year option

He doesnt. Anyone saying the Bills are going to 6-10, 7-9, or 8-8 is out of their mind. Its one game. One odd, poorly timed, poorly coached game. Lick your wounds and get ready for KC.

No one is trading for those guys. Get used to the defensive line, this is what they have this year.

They have 4.5 million in cap space. How do you suppose they do that? You're looking at the most highly paid unit on the team.

They have bad players. I cant point to one guy on this team right now that makes a difference.

I do for sure. Lots of talk about how the Jets had an advantage in terms of roster depth. I remember being incredibly happy we weren't the team who paid a 27 year old running back who just sat out a full year of football 52 million dollars. Bell and AB are perfect examples of how little teams need me first players. The Steelers were good before they got there, and they are good now they are gone.

I think the Kuechly comparison is a little tough. Yes, they were both 1st round picks but one was a top ten consensus pick and the other was a top 20 more raw prospect. That being said, Ive never been an Edmunds guy. I think a lot of the love for him is based more on the Bills PR hype machine around him than his actual play on the field which has been average at best, injury or no injury. He gets a lot of passes for being young but 22 or not he is now three years in and hasnt shown to be getting better against the run. Personally Id pass on resigning him as its going to be expensive and the return isnt worth it right now.

Maybe thats why they dropped him to third on the depth chart, trade incoming perhaps? If they didnt believe in the kid they should have moved him in the offseason.

Heard this on Schoop and the Bulldog this afternoon. Had the same reaction as Bulldog "What?" Gave a lot of great music and redefined tones. But for all of that, its incredibly telling of him as a person by how much his son appeared to love him. Well done EVH. Hope youre in a place with no more pain.
