He should have never been hired. The guy was an international hockey coach who had rarely coached at the NHL level. Not to mention he had been out of Hockey and in Soccer predominately since 2014. The game had passed him by and the players on the team knew it. Obviously his scheme doesnt work, but I dont think the players were all that interested in playing it in the first place. The Sabres whiffed bad on this hire. The players were already on their way to checking out, and when they hired what the players viewed as a Soccer guy to coach them they completely checked out. The Sabres desperately need a proven hockey coach for their next hire. The culture is a mess.

Whoever called him the Dick Jauron of Sabres coaches was dead on. The guy was way over his head.

They have the same Quarterback. They may have better offensive pieces, but they play the games for a reason. Plenty of teams have spent money on big free agent names only to have them poop out. The Patriots didnt sign prime of their career Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, Tony Gonzalez, and Gronk. They signed Kendrick Bourne, Nelson Agholor, Jonnu Smith, and Hunter Henry.

The Bills dont have to cover tight ends, they only have to score more points. The Patriots are building a team that will be run centered to try and play ball control offense. Essentially play good defense, and keep scores close. They will need to do that with no Quarterback.
