  1. The real question is will this be called an error and how do the engineers mitigate the risk to as low as reasonably possible so we can get this thing on the market?
  2. You said it really well. This year has been mentally exhausting. Usually I am incredibly excited about football as it signals a lot, it comes at the perfect time of the year where work starts to slow down, people are getting ready for the holidays and the fall around here is amazing. However this year feels completely different, with all the madness around the season, the opting out, the trying to figure out if they can really pull it off I am less than enthused and part of me wished they would just scrap it. Say what you want, but I do think a lot of the madness that has been 2020 will slow down after the election.
  3. Ok tough guy. You literally have no context for me outside of a message board. You have no clue what I've accomplished or havent. Furthermore, I am in the camp for getting rid of the football season, I think its more trouble than its worth, specifically for situations like this. I was also not saying Tre White specifically. But, I think its more than fair to say the modern athlete, along with this generation as a whole is far more entitled than the ones that came before them. And just for the record, I am also not in the boat of saying just because someone is really good at "just a game" it doesnt make them better at life than anyone else, which is what you're essentially saying here. The issue I have with Tre is him playing this out publicly. Either opt out or dont. Stop being a drama queen.
  4. I find myself in the same boat. The problem I see with a lot of these guys is they were bred to be athletes. They spend their entire high school careers playing football, going to college camps, where every little move is about trying to get a scholarship. By the time they make it to the league they've never done anything but be an athlete. The entitlement is out of control. They think the league owes them something beyond their paycheck by just being there. The truth is unless he becomes the top 1% of football players no one is going to think much about Tre White once he retires. In truth I think he is a good player, but outside of football I could care less. If Tre White opts out or goes to a new team, someone else will take his place. No one is irreplaceable.
  5. If Tre really means what he is saying about a game thats not bigger than life he should retire now. His job could literally leave him with a legitimate long term brain injury which could leave his "girl" (if he decides to marry her), and his son with dealing with someone like Darryl Talley. Sure he won't make millions of dollars, but football really is bigger than life, isnt it?
  6. Cool story, remember when Hillary was supposed to win in a landslide?
  7. He may of kept it reserved, but having a fear for your family's safety and exposing yourself to the virus at all makes no sense to me. For the most part he will be with the same people he will come into contact with everyday the entire season, except one day a week. I see absolutely no sense in being that worried about your family, exposing yourself to a bunch of new people, and then deciding after two weeks the fear is too much. You think Tre isnt going shopping? Not ever going out to eat? Quarantining 24-7 to ensure his family's safety. Give me a break. At some point we all need to measure the truth, and not continue living by fear. And if these guys are really that scared, shut the mother down.
  8. So he showed up and decided to be around literally hundreds of people in the building, but now is concerned about doing what is right for his family....
  9. As much as Milano drives me crazy at times because of over running his lanes, I think he is a more impact linebacker. Tremaine doesnt overrun his lanes because he is slow to react. He doesnt need to be a thumper to be great, I just think he has slow instincts. If I had to pick between resigning Milano and Edmunds, I'd choose Milano.
  10. I know it's not the most popular opinion on this board but I think Tremaine is incredibly overrated due to his size. I love his leadership ability and his potential, but he seems to me as someone the Bills like to publicize as their next great superstar, when he is in fact only an above average player at his position. People like to point to his age as being one of the reasons he hasn't reached his full potential, I would argue he isn't even the best 21 year old inside linebacker in the NFL, Devin White is easily as good as Tremaine, maybe better over a full season. I also think it's not absurd to say he took a little bit of a step backwards last year compared to his rookie season. If you look at his play, he very good in coverage for a guy his size, but he continues to struggle in play recognition and run support. When it comes to pass rush, I think he has a lot to offer, but he really isnt utilized that way in McDermott's defense. Who knows maybe they open it up for him more this year. Bottom line is he probably isnt a top 15 player at his position in the league right now. The way the Bills have handled him PR wise reminds me a ton of the Aaron Williams and Eric Woods of the worlds. They were good players who were constantly publicized as "Is this the Year" types. I wish the best for the kid, but in reality I think we've seen what he is.
  11. I enjoy "Stevie Calls God Day"
  12. We should know in a few weeks whether my wife had it in late February. Walked around for weeks not being able to breathe, trouble sleeping, etc. She has asthma so we just chalked it up to that.
  13. All of this is getting incredibly out of hand. He tested positive, he is asymptomatic or is he on his way to a ventilator? It seems like everyone that tests positive is lumped into the same category, when it couldn't be further from the truth. At this point just start all sports on November 4th. A lot of people have already had it without knowing it.
  14. But she said it incredibly loud so she must be right?
  15. They fast track vaccines and medical devices all the time. They are doing it right now with medical devices under the FDA EUA process. Its a shorter review, but its still a review that meets the standard of safe and effective. To be fair a lot has changed in terms of regulations since the 1955 polio vaccine.
  16. Sir whats your profession....
  17. I guess we should go ahead and take our facts elsewhere?
  18. A majority of the time it takes to bring something like that to market is the back and forth with the government agency. The FDA is not going to knowingly skirt its own processes to bring something to market thats unsafe. Most likely what you'll see is a phased approach of the vaccine. It will be approved for limited intended use and patient population (the most high risk) and then slowly brought a long for the general population.
  19. I dont recall the Michigan protest lasting weeks or months? Could be the difference.
  20. 100% My good man. Just thinking today when I heard about the 30,000 people in the clinical trial, I hope to God the vaccine is ready soon.
  21. I think in the coming days I may announce I am opting out as well.
  22. I dont understand your logic. Baseball is playing, basketball and hockey will both be playing. So why is the NFL the great evil for having a season?
  23. Been waiting for this one. Should have never left.
