This year it was Russell Wilson too. It was the same year. Everyone and their mother predicted at least 11 QBs would change teams. Clickbait. An individuals power, especially when they are under contract is an illusion. The only way they have power is if ownership caves. Rodgers' wont have power until 2024, when he is 41 years old. Unless he stinks before then. I am not sure who in their right mind thought the Packers were going to trade the guy and take a 22 million dollar cap hit. It would have been idiotic.

Davante Adams disgruntled with Packers

Because its incredibly hard to win Lombardi's especially in an era where the greatest Quarterback of all time is playing. If Green Bay isnt winning championships, the QB of the team need only to look in the mirror to see where the problem begins. -
Exactly. I am not sure why this is even a thing right now. I also agree with the Texans stance. If I am the GM there I want everything and more. Teams only get a QB of Watson's ability once every 20 years. If I cant get 3+ first round picks, plus players in return, then he can sit at home or retire. He signed the contract very recently, it was the same owner then.

Chandler Jones requests a trade

Addison and an OL wouldnt clear enough cap to bring him in. They need to clear 10+ plus if the guy wants a new contract -
Chandler Jones requests a trade

Fantastic player. A little old, and a lot expensive. Would probably need to trade a 1st or 2nd, and Jerry Hughes to bring him in and pay him. A long shot at best -
Going to say the same thing I said when the Bills traded Sammy Watkins, what have the Sabres won with Reinhart here? What has he done to make the team better? What did he do except whine about being here? Time to reward players who add to the team being a better team, who want to be here. Otherwise see ya.

One of Bill Parcells rules for a QB. "Dont become a celebrity QB" Starting to see why he had that rule. -
Outside of DirecTV does anyone know if a streaming service is going to carry the Ticket this year? I very badly want to do away with Cable or Dish.

Bills Players-Fan Encounters Thread
thenorthremembers replied to muppy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Met a few. My Father took me to the Thurman Thomas show they use to have at one of the local malls. The guests were Keith McKeller, and JD Williams. They signed autographs after the show, I reached out to shake McKeller's hand while he signed, but he was too busy talking to the two blondes behind me. I was probably 8 years old at the time. My son goes to Kelly's Football Camp, so I've met Jim a few times. Seems like a good guy, is always the first to say Hi and engage in conversation. Losman, Cardale Williams, and Eric Striker at training camps. Striker told me it was good I brought my son because he wouldnt have signed for me. Wasnt completely sure what he meant as I wasnt exactly seeking out Eric Striker for an autograph. Had the opportunity to meet with Marv for a few minutes as he was doing a signing at a book store I worked at during college. Came across as a super genuine and intellectual guy, just as he does in interviews. The most vivid recollection of meeting a Bills player/executive was when I worked at the same bookstore in the early 2000's. Nearing the end of the night around Christmas Tom Donahoe walked in and I cant tell you how absolutely defeated the guy looked. Looked like he was carrying 1000 pound Gorilla under his trench. Told him I was a big fan of the team, just kind of nodded and walked out. -
Bills interested in CB Steven Nelson

The best way to win a championship is to have the best Quarterback. If Allen gets to the point where he is better than Mahomes, the Bills will win a championship. In this era of football every team is going to have a glaring weakness outside of Quarterback. It isnt hard, score more point than the other team. -
Man, that was incredible!

Shady is looking for a three peat
thenorthremembers replied to Might Rather's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Love Shady but the 30 year cliff is a real thing for RBs. He is a 33 year old back who had less than 200 total yards last year. If he wants to continue in football he may want to look into a coaching internship this summer. -

Part of me thinks the NBA'ers who are on team USA are burnt out. While there are NBA'ers on other teams, some of them arent full time starters. We are currently on basketball overload. I am pretty sure some of these guys have played basketball for 21 out of the last 25 months. -
Richard Sherman Arrested

Tends to be that the guy who thinks he is the smartest in the room is too arrogant to understand he isnt. Being book smart does not preclude you from being a dummy -
I think its a bit of hyperbole to say the reality is he wont beat anyone in the top ten when he is literally ranked in the top ten. You think he has no shot against Ferguson, Hooker, Chandler or Dos Anjos? A couple of those guys have similar results to Conor in their last 3-4 fights, and they werent fighting the likes of Porier and Khabib.
