Cool story. Maybe we could get Jauron, Gailey, Mularkey or Marrone back and then you could go back to being happy. -

Neither of these teams are close to what KC was that night. Neither of these Qbs are close to what Mahomes and Allen were that night. 100% correct. -

Hate watchinng two teams in the Super Bowl I think the Bills would beat. -
Anyone downing this kid obviously doesnt remember being a 20 year old. He got drunk and did beyond stupid things. Does that mean he deserves to be completely torn apart everytime his name comes up on this board? Chad has done some great work with the ARC of Erie County and has given really good speeches to middle school and High school kids at the Kelly camp about not being an entitled prick like he was in High School and College. Meanwhile the same posters blasting him are the guys blaming CTE for Antonio Brown being a class A jerk and not changing it. Glad he is still playing, better than sitting at home feeling sorry for himself and not working.

Not a Rome fan at all, but what an incredible interview! How can you watch that interview with the General, The Winter Solider, The Big Dolphin Daddy and not wish the season started tomorrow....lets go!

Quinton Spain comments on release from the Bills
thenorthremembers replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
He 100% did it. I cant remember the exact situation, but he got benched for Brian Winters after the second game of the season, either Winters or Ford was banged up the week or two after his benching, when he was asked to start he said he was injured. No one could figure out how he got injured as he hadnt played in a few weeks. Pretty quick after that he was off the team . -
Quinton Spain comments on release from the Bills
thenorthremembers replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'll say what I said when he was released. Spain isnt in Buffalo any longer because he is a me first guy and not a team guy. He pretended to be injured so he wouldnt have to fill in at guard after he was benched. He conveniently failed to mention that in his interview. He is an average player, who isnt worth the headache because he is emotionally immature and handles his business on twitter. The guy is 13 year old stuck in a grown man's body. His fragile feelings aren't going to feel any better when the Bengals draft a guard this year. Have no use for him. none. I fully expect the Rams D-Line to eat the Bengals O-Line alive on Sunday. Spain should worry more about blocking Aaron Donald than talking about Buffalo. -
Kyler Murray unfollows Cardinals on social media

If I were him I'd go get that baseball money while he can. I've always said he is a scramble and chuck QB, his wideouts bail him out a ton. Dont see him as a guy who can ever win a Super Bowl, and its not like he can make up the money in advertising money given camera heights these days.... -

Should there be an NFL Lottery?
thenorthremembers replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in The Stadium Wall
Every year people assume teams are tanking to get the first pick, so much so that there is a website that tracks draft order called Tankathon. But somehow people are outraged when they find evidence that its really happening? The NFL draft order is fine. If youre aghast that tanking is happening, imagine all the beautiful ways a lottery can be rigged! Personally I feel like the entire world needs to grow a pair or get a little common sense. -
Spotrac has Levi Wallace valued @ $9M/yr. Thoughts?
thenorthremembers replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall
Its very accurate. Measureables aside he is a starting corner in the NFL and has been shown to be reliable, smart and hard to replace. Granted he isnt a man cover corner but he is for sure a 8 to 9 million dollar a year guy. -
Exactly. Why am I going to get what probably isnt made of real food when I can get a nice meal for the same price. Granted the portion sizes are huge. Very odd when I can go to a place like Chipotle and get Two Burritos or Two Burrito bowls for the price of one meal at BK. Granted Chipotle has their own issues.

Stopped eating Mcdonalds around 15 years ago or so. But man everyone once and awhile a Quarterpounder with Cheese sounds amazing. On the combo situation. My daughter wanted an impossible burger from Burger King after a Field Hockey game in the fall, got the combo, $13 dollars! No way no how is one meal at BK worth $13 dollars. Never again.
-
Shouldnt they be Quarter Pounders with Cheese?
-
Agree. I think you pay both. Just trying to convey how fast cap money goes away when you clear it by cutting other players. On the Morse thing, I agree. Guy played his butt off this year.

Bocce Club. End story. In other news Pizza Hut isnt food its a laxative. Says the guy with a McDonalds user name. Cmon man!

Athletic article forecasting our cap casualties
thenorthremembers replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Morse would be a big surprise for me. Seems more like a restructure and extend guy to me. Is he elite, probably not. But for the cap you have to eat and then the money you have to spend to find an as good or better replacment you probably end up costing yourself cap space you need to hold onto. Hes a fine center, is pretty available in terms of health and really showed out during the playoffs. -
Thursday night games to cost Amazon Prime customers more
thenorthremembers replied to notwoz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Have Prime but only watch TNF on the NFL Network anyways. As for a streaming service Prime generally blows as far as the content that comes with the service. If it goes up I may consider getting rid of it. -
Malik Willis: The next Josh Allen?

Two things Rosen never has to worry about. -
Big problem this year, two years of pandemic cap. We dont have much rollover money $2 millionish, and the cap this year is low 208.2 given the current player salaries. Going to have to move on from guys like Feliciano, Beasley, and Starr- and then you have a major decision to make with Levi Wallace as his market value should be a little north of $8 million a year. Management really needs to decide if they are going to stick to their mantra of rewarding players already in the building with contracts for hard work and good play. Wallace, and Phillips have really earned extensions, but that's probably around $14 million for two guys who are are just good players, not world beaters. Truth is you need guys like that, but it could come at the cost of spending money on a really nice pass rusher like Chandler Jones.
