My Brother in Law is a massive Raiders fan. I feel so bad for him today.

Brian Daboll hired to be Head Coach of NY Giants
thenorthremembers replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Love Daboll. But like Belichick said when a coordinator of his gets a head coaching gig ad starts raiding his existing staff its disrespectful. -
Yes. Pederson was the QA Control Coach in Philly in 2009 and 2010, McDermott was on staff both years.
-
I know he is not well liked due to his time in Chicago, but he did pretty well with KC when they still had Alex Smith. I'd prefer Dorsey or Peterson too, but with Josh I am not too concerned.
-
Shea Tierney has been someone I've heard a ton about. I literally cant believe Dorsey isnt staying. Otherwise McDermott has coached with both Doug Pederson and Matt Nagy,

Agreed the 80's and 90's are more for enjoyment now. Love the hobby quite a bit, but I will say given current prices I am very selective about what I buy. Had the opportunity to buy 2 Allen Donruss Rookies Raw a month ago for 42.50 a piece, sold them just before the divisional game for around $70 a piece. The big money isnt in raw cards, but you can turn a retail like profit if you're smart about it. The card House has in the original topic is exactly what you should be looking for if you're a collector with millions of dollars. Its a 5/5, but given that it's a PSA 10, I would imagine it ends up being a 1/1 population wise.

It's for sure still a thing. However, they were selling for more at the height of the pandemic. What you're seeing is actually on the downside of things. If Josh had of had those performances a year ago that card would have sold for double that. Jordan's are going for quite a bit right now. However, for them to sell for a lot of money, they need to be graded, like you see on the Josh card above.

Burrow is in his second year and is only 5 months younger than Josh. He is way ahead in terms of development when it comes to a 2nd year QB because of his age, and I dont think thats talked about enough. He also has the benefit of having tons of talent around him. Personally, I think he is the flavor of the month, and not as physically gifted as either Allen or Herbert. Baring injury I think Allen and Herbert have much better careers than Burrow.

Thats exactly where Beane's statement regarding them needing to be good football players first comes in. Tyreek Hill is in a different class when it comes to being a speedy player, because he runs that fast and is about 20 pounds heavier than guys like Mckenzie, and actually has good hands, which Goodwin could never say. I dont think going and getting Cornerbacks who run 4.3 40s is going to help the situation. Bottom line is the Bills need to outscore the Chiefs with their offense or they probably will never get past them.

Jeff Fisher Takes Michigan Panthers HC Job (USFL)
thenorthremembers replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
This was my initial thought when I looked at the league site a few weeks ago. At that time they didnt even have coaches. With that little prep the games should be unwatchable, and the injuries will be a plenty. -
Frazier getting second interview with Joe Schoen and NYG

Agreed. The defense has been ranked #1 and #2 two out of the last three years. He isnt going anywhere. -
Denver hiring Nathaniel Hackett as HC
thenorthremembers replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's 100% a ploy to bring Rodgers. Otherwise this is a terrible hire. -
Urban Meyer - "Worst experience in my professional life“
thenorthremembers replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'd say if you have a lack of time on task for preparation, you probably shouldn't spend some of that time at maxing and relaxing inside your bar.... -
Kwesi Adofo-Mensah is the new Vikings GM
thenorthremembers replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall
Very odd, and seemingly very low. Also. Who? -
100% They either need to extend the contract or trade him. IMO I think the 12 or 13 million dollar salary is too high for him, especially with how KC targeted him in the playoff game. To me he definitely isn't a top 6 or 7 ILB in the league like that salary would indicate. However, while I am not a fan of his, I do worry about the Bills ability to replace him given his knowledge of the defense.

He will be the #2 next year. Hoping he keeps it up.

Sean Payton stepping down as the Saints coach

So is it Pete Carmichael, Dennis Allen or do they bring back Joe Lombardi? -
How many chances does McDermott have left?
thenorthremembers replied to Igotbills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the Anti-McDermott guys better buckle up and get ready for at least another 5-10 years of guy, even if the Bills dont win a Championship. Unless he suddenly turns into Marvin Lewis and cant make or win a playoff game he will have a job. -
Chandler Jones would be my target. However, if you keep Edmunds at 12 million on the 5th year deal I dont think you have the cash.
