Pro Bowl implementing “Spot and Choose”
thenorthremembers replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sounds like the start of a kids youth flag football game. Keep it up NFL, you're having one helluva week! My 10 year old would probably tune in. Kids who are into the star aspect of the game. Otherwise, no. -
Daboll was very interested in the LA job last year.

Brian Flores suing NFL, NY Giants, Dolphins, Broncos.
thenorthremembers replied to BillsFan4's topic in The Stadium Wall
Anyone with any common sense knew this would happen eventually. The NFL screwed the pooch by putting the Rooney Rule in place to start with. You dont fight racism but putting a rule in place that judges someones interview worthiness by the color of their skin. The racist and unfair NFL with 75% minority employment. -
I am sorry but anyone who thinks McDermott's seat is getting hotter is the same type of person that only calls you when drama is happening in your life or the type of person who hasnt figured out that breaking up with girl after girl doesnt change their relationship results. Bored people who just like chaos and upheaval because it makes them feel less bored. McDermott may be boring because he isnt new, or because he makes mistakes (like every other coach in the NFL) but for God's sake he has been to the playoffs four of five years, and is 17 games over .500 (you know what we got use to for 17 years). The guy didnt luck into the results, he is a good NFL coach. It wasnt the strength of schedule, it wasnt luck because of injury. Its because he is good at his job, and the GM he brought in drafted a stud QB, both of whom are good at their jobs.

Who cares. Daboll thought he was going to be a coach in 2021 cycle and didnt get it, furthermore he was pissy because McDermott publicly stated they needed to be more balanced on offense. I honestly think he came off like a goof in his opening press conference. Three years from now, Daboll will be asking for his job back.

Greatest Football Player of all time. Glad I got to watch him play, sad it came at the expense of the Bills. Enjoy your retirement, may the horseshoe stay firmly placed you blessed in everyway so and so.

Man I really wish Josh wasnt playing on TV. It will be further evidence of his already bumpy 2022, or because its pebble beach "rocky" 2022. He really should just hide for a year or so, I am terrified of what may happen. Anyone else want to join me down in this fear bunker? Make sure to bring your anxiety blankets!

So it's the Washington Commanders now?
thenorthremembers replied to stuvian's topic in The Stadium Wall
Its a terrible name but it will become more palatable as time moves along. Still cant believe they spent two years as the "Washington Football Team." -
Don't be surprised if Josh Allen has a bumpy 2022

OL coach Bobby Johnson headed to NY, has signed contract
thenorthremembers replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Its one thing to take assistant line coaches, or assistant coordinators. When you start to raid the team you came from of their main position coaches and coordinators, its a crap move. -

Because you have to conduct outside interviews before they can hire within. -
Brian Daboll hired to be Head Coach of NY Giants

Some guys just arent made for suits. I know because I am one of them. -
Which makes you wonder why the defensive staff had more confidence in their 6'0 tall Linebacker to cover Kelce than they did their 6'5 linebacker who is almost identical in size to the tight end.

I guess my issue is I keep hearing Joe Burrow reminds people of Tom Brady, the guy who won 7 Super Bowls and is the GOAT. So what about him reminds you of Brady? No one says that part. To compare a second year Quarterback, who has elite skill position talent around him, to literally the Greatest Quarterback of all time is hyperbolic to me. Just wondering what about the guy is Bradyesque? What I saw yesterday was a guy who arguably isnt a top QB in the league yet, play a pretty average football game and get very lucky Mahomes upchucked all over himself. I fully expect the Bengals to get their heads caved in on the 13th.

Elite talent matters

End thread. There is no reason to discuss this any longer. He catches the INT game is over. -
Please stop.

I dont know why someone of you bother watching football, it clearly makes you miserable. So far I've read: Bills are screwed because the Bengals have Joe Burrow and Cap Space The Bills defense is beyond repair is complete shambles. Drafting players doesn't work. Only spending a ton on free agents does. Bengals did this today with no high picks (Despite having the #1 overall draft pick at QB, the #5 overall pick at WR, and the #11 overall pick at Tackle) Take a breath and come back to reality.
-
Fully agree. The next Brady talk has been nauseating.
-
Relies a ton on his Wideouts and Tight Ends ability to turn 6 yard passes into 20+ yard gains.

Welp there goes the idea that its "a process"
