  1. He lucked into Peyton Manning and every QB move since then has been a disaster
  2. I live in LA but only follow the Bills. I am a little surprised they fired Lynn because of the development of QB Herbert. Herbert is the future of the franchise so a bit perplexed why they would change systems/regimes on their QB after a very successful rookie year.
  3. Every other year, we are always scratching our heads and thinking "I can't believe they called that play? What were they thinking!" This year, it is: "I can't believe they called that play? What an INCREDIBLE Call!
  4. Rest 'em - we can't take a chance on Josh Allen getting hurt and missing the playoff games
  5. I think each team should be allowed to have an extra kicker, punter and long snapper on the roster Could you imagine the havoc if one of those positions tested positive right before a game
  6. Gase was such an awful hire. It is amazing that they would hire a coach who had just fired for failing miserably
  7. I thought the exact same thing - Diggs looked like Anrdre
  8. Exactly - when JA gets his $40mm / year contract extension, there goes a lot of cap flexibility Which means "we must win NOW"
  9. I assumed he was just throwing the ball away and lo and behold a TD I live in LA so up until the last few weeks have not seen much of him What I see now makes me shake my head in disbelief - he is making throws look routine that are uber-difficult. He looks Rodgers or Mahomes out there
  10. My earliest Bills Memory was 1967 but I believe my dad RIP was at the game watched the footage and a few random observations - who was the genius who decided the goal posts should be in the middle of the field - loved the ref's red uniforms - they must have come straight from a barbership quartet to ref the game QUESTION: How do you think the championship teams would do against University of Alabama? I think bama would destroy them because - players are much bigger and stronger today - players in 64 could not match the speed to today's players
  11. Does anyone remember WHY we switched to red helmet? Joe Ferguson was throwing too many INT's and the jets, dolphin and patriots are all had white helmets. The thought it would be easier to spot his receivers with a helmet that stood out
  12. Reminds me of almost 40 years ago to the day (Dec 22, 1980) when I went to the airport at 3 AM to meet the Bills after defeating the 49ers to win the division
  13. The worst part about it was that it took the TD away from Lee Smith Probably would have been first game in Bills History with TD pass to 3 DIFFERENT tight ends FYI - I have some Free Bills Stuff listed under the Bills Gear (old programs, season ticket books and season ticket cards)
  14. Still have the items - anyone interested?
  15. Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe and healthy I had to clean out my office and have some extra Bills souvenirs that want to get rid of. They are free - just have to pay for postage (but if you want to make a voluntary donation to a worthy Buffalo cause - I won't object) Programs 1. First game ever at Rich Stadium Aug 1973 2. Game where OJ was put on the wall of fame Sep 1980 3. Super Bowl against Cowboys in Pasadena 4. Sept 1974 Jets Season Ticket Book 2013 (5) Season Ticket Card 2018 (5) Contact me directly at Bills@quantinal.com
  16. Thanks to all of the vets who served. in Vietnam and anywhere else!! [whether or not you were actually in combat] I was in elementary school during the Vietnam war and remember our school bus taking a detour to avoid the protests and tear gas at the UB main street campus
  17. Also, many owners made their fortunes in real estate and oil (i.e. Pegula) both really hard hit - so not so easy for the owners to pony up any $$$ either I don't think anybody will start building a new stadium in the next few years
  18. I had a dream that there was a global pandemic and an economic meltodown ... felt so real!
  19. Do they weight the pick by the round? For Example, picking a #100 ranked player with the overall #1 pick is much worse than picking a #300 ranked player with the #201nd pick Hope everyone is safe and healthy
  20. The key to the chiefs is that they a) either were smarter than or luckier than other teams in seeing the potential in Mahomes b) built their team around the strengths of Mahomes (i.e. speed and versatility on offense) However, things will change dramatically in one year, when Mahomes comes off his rookie deal and makes $40mm per year
  21. I heard on the game today that after week 1 he did not have a single TD. And today's TD and one of his in week1 were blown coverages where he was wide open On the chief's he his option #5?
  22. I think he is washed up and won't really help any team
  23. Should not take too long too watch!
  24. Has great moves and power, but lacks breakaway speed - so never will be an elite RB
  25. That is really an amazing stat!
