  1. One that I think should make the list but did not was the Giants taking a RB at #2 instead of potential Franchise QB
  2. because they are in win now mode with Brady's career winding down
  3. when a potential franchise falls into your lap, you have to grab him even worse, he was taken by the other team in your city
  4. Not good for ticket sellers: - 4 games 11/25 and later and - non-division games are all pretty boring (Colts, Chargers, Titans, Lions, and Bears) i
  5. I don't see how anybody can have the Giants picking a position player at #2. This is their golden opportunity to draft their QB for the next 15 years. If they don't like any of the QB's, I can't imagine them not ransoming the pick off to the Bills, Broncos, ... and receiving multiple high picks. I see this in many mock drafts and am incredulous. There are even some that have them selecting an OG #2. I can't imagine that a guard is worth 4 picks in top 60
  6. "All but one have been clean" - I guess he was caught before
  7. I have ordered a few times. There always seems to be a glitch in the system, but with a little intervention from my ticket rep, I can usually get it accomplished After ordering a Mario Williams Jersey one year, and then a Sammy jersey the next year, we have decided no more jerseys unless the players are retired! FYI - anybody want to buy a brand new unused Watkins Jersey?
  8. I think the Broncos trade up with the Browns from #5 to #4 to protect the spot so no other one team leapfrog them and grabs the last QB if not the Broncos, then Bills or another team. I really think QB's go 1-4.
  9. If one team would "do it all day", then the other team will not!
  10. I find it hard anybody would trade for TT knowing they can get him for free after we cut him
  11. There are 2 fundamental differences between Polian's era and those you compare him to: 1. There were many more rounds then so the misses are much greater 2. There was less ability to see players then: a.combine was not so important b. fewer games were not all available on TV, c technology for viewing was much more rudimentary ,,
  12. ... and for the halfback option pass he threw for TD against Boston (a saturday night game!)
  13. Part of the blame here goes to McDermott - he should never have hired an OC that was going to change around what was successful. Switching blocking schemes and having TT in a west coast offense were recipes for disaster that were predictable, so he should not have hired Dennison in the first place. Most coaches big faults lie in imposing their scheme onto the personnel as opposed to vice - versa. Marv Levy's greatest coaching achievement was recognizing the K-Gun and the weapons we had and switching from his conservative offense
  14. All good to make the playoffs, but the ONLY point of making the playoffs is to win the super bowl
  15. 1. Browns and Giants are both QB needy so no way they trade out and don't take a QB. The best 2 QB's are off the board ASAP 2. No one would trade for TT since they could always get him for nothing once the Bills release him 3. Glenn is damaged goods with a big contract so he is not of interest In essence, you are proposing trading to a team that desperately needs a QB: a low first round pick, waiver wire QB and expensive injured OL!
  16. 9 of those 13 were top 3 picks, and 2 more (Brees, Wilson) probably would have been if they were taller
  17. Seems to be the big southern cities: Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville. Nashville makes sense since the results are meaningful for Titans - not sure about the others
  18. we end up in a tie with another team and the deciding factor is the last tie-breaker: the coin toss
  19. Last week versus New England Tyrod was 9 of 18 for 65 yards 0 TD and 1 INT Today in miserable conditions Peterman was 5 of 10 for 57 yards 1 TD and 0 INT Peterman's stats were actually better than TT's
  20. On a similar vein, at the end of regulation, the colts, instead of running plays, should have been clearing an area for Vinatieri or taking the ball in front of the hash marks where the snow was cleared. On the missed FG, he did not have nearly as clean a surface as on the extra point
  21. That was my 2nd game. Lost 29 to 7 In 1968 I was 6 years old. I still vividly remember my father RIP saying "I think it's time you go to a Bills game. How about Joe Namath and the Jets" Won 37-35. Bills had 3 pick sixes against Joe Willie - including one over 100 yards by Tom Janik. That was the only game we won that year
