  1. Not unexpected, but the problem is that not only do you pay for the PSL but you still have to pay for your tickets which I am sure prices will go up. I have 8 lower level seats between the yard lines. I don't think I would want to pay $20,000 to $40,000 for the right to buy my season tickets where the price will go up from 135 a ticket to probably 200 a ticket (and those seats were $90 just a few years ago) I had great Rams seats when they first came back to LA, but it was around $50K to buy a PSL so I gave them up when they moved to SOFI
  2. As with all "all time" lists, hard to compare TE's from different eras 1. TE's are now much featured in an offense - before they were basically glorified "Tackle Eligibles" 2. In general, all receiving stats these days are so much more inflated due to a. the emphasis on passing game and b. the more liberal rules allowed to the offense t
  3. .. and to top it off , the punt went into the end zone so only got a touchback!
  4. ... but after a turnover, having the whole defense running the entire length of the field, sliding in the endzone, and doing a choreographed routine is not?
  5. One of of my 'favorite' lines that he said that all announcers say: "The FORMER first round draft pick" No - if you are drafted in the first round, you are always a first round pick. you never lose that status
  6. lookin good on Singletary!
  7. A. The difference between oldest and youngest teams is pretty small: youngest (25.1) oldest (27.0) so we are actually right in the middle of the pack B. This takes into acct the entire roster. A more indicative stat might be average age for starters. C. This does not take into account Standard Deviation. Two teams could both be exactly 27 years on average, but one could be 100% of the players are 27 and another could have equal # of players from 21 to 33. Clearly the age profile on these 2 teams is quite different
  8. really insightful - gives a perspective that the average fan does not not have
  9. That is a very generic statistic (as most are) It does not take into account; - how much you are down by (losing by 20 is included in losing by 10) - when in the game you are down (e.g. are you down early in 1st quarter or late in the 4th) - that the offense might come back, take the lead, and then the defense blows the game on the last play
  10. Section 111 ========= - Row 8 on the aisle on the 50 yard line (2) - Row 9 two seats in from the 50 (2) - almost directly behind the first pair - Row 14 on the 47 (4) $200 per ticket PAYPAL DM if interested and include your email Have rest of season available as well Go Bills
  11. One of my beefs is not just the lack of balance, but that we always had an empty backfield Maybe I am missing something, but it is the equivalent of Josh Allen going to the line of scrimmage and yelling "Defense, don't worry about the run. We are passing" It lets the defensive line tee off and the DB's back off
  12. In Dak's defense, - his one interception was a perfect pass into a tight window that bounced right off the WR'S hands and directly lead to a TB TD - another drive was killed because of a dropped pass - the kicker missed an XP and a chip shot FG (was around 15 yards wide) Basically, on the road, he put up 33 points against a top rated defense - that should win you most games
  13. I have a few rules 1) as someone already posted - stay away from road teams 2) only worry about the current week - don't save a team for the future - you might be eliminated by them. BUT, given the choice between 2 relatively equal teams, pick the one you would be less likely to use in the future Disclaimer: I have never won using these rules, there is always an upset that you don't expect. A few years ago, the Bills beating the Vikings when huge underdogs took out most of my pool
  14. Asking $325 per ticket Right on the 50 if Interested DM me
  15. My friend's father turned 90 this year, and he keep saying "We always say 'wait til next year', but I am not sure how many next year's I have left"
  16. He may not change his market value this year , but he would want to go somewhere where he has a chance of starting so he could change his market value in the future
  17. One of the perks of having tix since 1961 and being #25 on the season ticket seniority list!
  18. NFL ticket exchange is the easiest and most secure - and will handle any refunds in the event a game is cancelled. They changed the format for browsing available tickets a few years so much harder to find the seats you might want. I generally post a few places Craigslist - but generally not great responses and a lot of flakes. Big advantage is no fees for seller and no fees for buyer. For example, if post a ticket for sale on ticket exchange at $200, buyer would pay $250, but seller pays 10% fee and would only get $180. Always make sure to use PAYPAL (not friends and family) as that is one of the few insured payment sources. I don't think Zelle or Venmo insure the transaction - sometimes ebay is successful. but charges 10-12% commission - There is stubhub, but I have not used and don't see any benefit to it over NFL Ticket Exchange - There is a section on TBD for tickets for sale where you can list Shameless plug - I have 2 to 8 tickets available for every bills game this year, all in section 111 ranging from row 8 to row 14. If interested DM me Go Bills
  19. Without Frank Reich - we don't go to 1 or 2 of our super bowls. As someone else posted, do you really want our season dependent on Fromm or Webb?
  20. No - without a good backup, and injury to JA, even if out for just a few weeks, or a positive covid test that keeps him out for a bit, would be catastrophic. We have a super bowl window - would hate to lose a chance at a superbowl for a 2nd round pick. As the Old adage used to say: The 2nd most important player on your team is the backup QB
  21. 1. A few things that stood out for me: 1. The percentage of passes on offense I think Daboll has come to the realization that with JA and our receivers - passing is the way to go and running will only be supplemental to keep teams honest Thus, I think we keep a lot of receivers to keep them all fresh and tire out the other team's DB's. We also ran a ton of screen, short passes, and bubble screens. It is a way to get the ball into the hands of the speedy receivers out in space. I think we have a great combo of weapons: Diggs and Beasley for ability / Kumerow and Davis for Size / and McKenzie and Stevenson for speed and excitement 2. Davis Webb onto PS 3 TO's in 3 possessions against 2nd or 3rd stringers should be a death knell. but Keep him on PS for his other non football skills. Sits on PS for a few years, and then becomes QB coach. I think Fromm also goes to PS to keep a roster spot available. 3.Hollister might be starting TE He looked so much better than knox and does not drop those ball. Maybe Knox should have practiced more with catching real footballs and less with ping pong balls 4. Bears are pathetic! Dalton is not a starter in this league, and Fields will be starter early in the season whether he is ready or not
  22. Love the write-up Watched the game on NFL game pass condensed: pre-season games are WAY TOO BORING even condensed. Could barely make it through w/out dozing off. Surprised anyone voluntarily pays to go to them
  23. Beane really seems like a really good, down to earth guy as well as being a great GM - a great personality fit for Buffalo as well
  24. "five pistol wielding punks plundered paul's pharmacy and emporium!"
