  1. So while one or both may climb at combine, not sure it will be into top 10. Metcalf's neck injury and rumored subsequent surgery will discount him . And both players have done OK, but not great vs Big Schools. Metcalf has some nice career #s but has only played in 21 games in which he compiled 67 catches for 1228 yds (18.3 YPC) and 14 TDS. Impressive career YPC and TD stats (20 % of catches for TDs) but catch # / game just over 3 for career. In only 7 career games versus SEC teams he has 20 catches for 363 yds and 6TDs. Not what I see as dominant enough to move up to top 10. And the injury is a real issue. https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/dk-metcalf-1/gamelog/ As for Harry, he has some prolific catch numbers in 37 career starts. 213 catches ( 6 rec/game) for 2889 yds (13.6 YPC) and 22 TD receptions. So 10% TD reception rate which is not a great rate. In 2018 in 9 games vs Pac10 teams and Michigan State, he had 49 catches for 701 yds and only 3 TDs . Against Washington, with an NFL ready secondary, he had 5 catches for 20 yds and no TDs. This is where his separation issues show up and might be why OBD passes given Bills nightmare from 2018 and receivers not gaining separation. I will say Harry played well vs USC with a Receiving and Return TD. https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/nkeal-harry-1/gamelog/ And just for the record, recent WRs in Rd 1 are a crap shoot. In 2018 DJ Moore was first off the board at pick 24 primarily beacuse he did not produce in big games in college. In 2017, there were 3 top 10 WRs and none have really gone off yet. Corey Davis went at 5 to TN, Mike Williams to Chargers at 7 and John Ross at 9 to CIN. Davis and Ross were potential projection guys and it hasn't worked out yet. In 2016, there was not a top 10 WR and the list of 2016 Rd 1 WRS is a just a bunch of guys, Corey Coleman, Will Fuller, Josh Doctson and Laquon Treadwell. Pass please. In 2015, Amari Cooper went at 4 with this incredible 2014 stat line, 124 catches for 1727 yds and 16 TDs, with 12 of those in SEC and 2 more vs Ohio State in Bowl game. Kevin White from WVU went later to Bears in top 10 and had similar 2014 numbers versus Big 12 and even Alabama. And we know how that turned out.
  2. Beebe and Al Edwards were other WRs that year. Copeland was drafted in 1993 - Beebe missed last 4 games and playoffs that year. Edwards did not have a catch in SB25. And Lofton only had one for 61 yrs.
  3. TB: Now remember, Don't let them touch me REF: There, there now Tommie!
  4. I wonder if there is pre-game locker room and sideline speech incentive for each one given??? Someone will have to pick up the slack now that Meatball is gone!?
  5. Agreed my friend. Not to mention, by drafting one here, that we get a 5th year option on an impact player at a very expensive position. Because of that I would sign FA C, RT, RB or OG as these are not very expensive positions. And draft LT, DE, 3T, WR and CB as these are premium costs to cap. We are set at QB for now.
  6. If Quinnen Williams, Josh Allen or Clelin Ferrell are there at 9, I pass on pre-determined trade (like the Broncos last year did to us at #5 when they took Bradley Chubb who dropped). With Shaq and Jerry being potential FAs at end of 2019, adding an edge pass rusher is a much bigger priority than most think. And Q Williams will be a very disruptive 3T immediately and help on both run and pass downs.
  7. Would agree if same coaching staff but new OLine Coach will want his guys as starters - ie Castillo bringing Ducasse in. Mills if kept will be for depth purposes only - less likely given Searles signing today. IMO McBeane will look to sign a FA starter at C and RT, the draft an LT moving Dawkins to LG and Teller to RG. Very doable.
  8. Try Zo's locker. Pretend you're a Steeler and just take it. ?
  9. Glad to hear. Good player. Team Leader. Great Man!
  10. Not sure if you misread defensive chart but Bills were actually ranked 10th for Defensive Pts allowed per drive.
  11. yes and will be close to Hauschka aka House Money as well. Hope he can find a Punter out of the 2 Cor(e)ys.
  12. Helped that he got the ND kid at LG, he's a beast. But had a retread at RG (Glowinski) after Slauson got hurt and a Rookie RT in Braden Smith and they all played well together. He coached them up for sure
  13. Please put him and their FA RG Glowinski on same flight to BUF
  14. As mentioned in my previous response the 89% rule is over 4 years. Teams must spend 89% of total $ over 4 years, not every year per CBA.
  15. 1. Cuz he can't stay healthy and is no longer an impact player given injuries 2. Cuz we only have $2.5mm in dead cap as of now next year and still save $5mm in 2019 cap by cutting him.
  16. First Pick rates players by day of draft and allows you to view best available. Can click on name and get draft profiles rankings etc. fun site to use
  17. Used First Pick simulator, no trades. Like the other Josh Allen as can play behind Zo or replace him and can play DE in the 4-3 in pass situations. Invest in 2 starter level OL and get a large Red Zone WR and a Bell Cow RB. Alos add a large perimeter CB, a 3T DL and some other depth at LB, TE and FB. Your score is: 30745 (GRADE: A+) Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 9: Allen, Josh, OLB, Kentucky (A) Round 2 Pick 9: Taylor, Jawaan, OT, Florida (A) Round 3 Pick 8: Arcega-Whiteside, JJ, WR, Stanford (A+) Round 4 Pick 9: Singletary, Devin, RB, Florida Atlantic (A+) Round 4 Pick 31: Austin, Blessuan, CB, Rutgers (A+) Round 5 Pick 4: Wise, Daniel, DT, Kansas (A+) Round 5 Pick 9: McCoy, TJ, C, Florida (A+) Round 6 Pick 9: Quarterman, Shaquille, ILB, Miami (FL) (A+) Round 7 Pick 9: Crum, Micky, TE, Louisville (A+) Round 7 Pick 16: Aston, George, FB, Pittsburgh (A+)
  18. Not sure they win at home tomorrow vs LA Chargers.
  19. Like the top 4, but I would go Jonah Williams OT in Rd1 as I think Metcalf could be had at pick 41 given injury concerns. Also any DT picked should be a 3T as we don't really have one now (Jordan Philips could play there if re-signed). Good work here
  20. I see what you did there
  21. He will simply choose from the other 31 HC offers on his desk! ?
  22. We're both partly correct. Eric Wood news was late JAN 2018. Glenn Trade was 3/14 /2018 and Richie retiring was 4/10/2018. SO all were off season events prior to 2018 Team activities
  23. I agree with you but see the Paxton Lynch effect here by some NFL talent guru. Do see him drafted late on a flyer on Day 3.
  24. While Bills may trade down I cannot see them using 1st Rd Pick on a TE. Especially on the 2nd best TE coming out of Iowa per some scouts. Neither do I see this management trading 2 picks in top 75 for a 31 year old malcontent who drew lines in the sand with a future HOF QB. What would AB do to Allen if he felt dissed? Beane has already stated their philosophy. Build through the draft and retain your own. Look where they have made draft investments. This year could be OT, WR, Edge, DT and CB. They will draft at expensive positions and sign FAs at the less expensive positions C, OG, TE, LB IMHO.
