  1. from another thread. OBD needs to double down in FA and land a C and RT for 2019.
  2. An A for your take - realistic and spot on. IMHO there bigger failure than QB was their handling of the Oline. Bills lost 3 starters vs 2015/2016 teams - Wood, Glenn and Richie. Severely overestimated Ducasse and Miller's capabilities. Both are NFL backup quality players. At OT, Newhouse, McDermott were barely NFL roster players prompting them to deal Newhouse and sign Serles mid-season. As for C, neither Groy nor Bodine are capable NFL starters - again, like QB, there was a competition where the competitors themselves were not worthy entrants. Going into 2019 I would keep Dawkins, Serles, Boetgger and Teller. Draft a franchise LT and move Dawkins to LG. SIgn a C and RT in FA and let the 2 kids fight it out at RG. Bid farewell to Mills, Ducasse, Miller and Groy. Bodine and Serles are backups in 2019.
  3. This was only 4 years ago - Erik Pears and Chris Williams were starters on OL! Some things never change!
  4. lol in all the excitement I forgot about that one. Maybe get their secondary a "Canadian Ballet" limo so they can runup a $64000 CAD bill or $45000 USD bill on SAT pm. Exchange Rate be damned, they ain't payin anyway!
  5. Honestly if he doesn't start throwing until next week (very likely as in arm brace still) I don't see them playing him vs Jets.
  6. In an ideal world we play Bears and Jets with NP or DA as starter and go back to Josh Allen after the bye. Allows for Terrelle Pryor to get up to speed with Josh and let's McD implement any changes on Oline (Boettger or Teller at G) Here's a curve. What if DA decides his comeback is over? It may force Josh to play vs Jets if ready.
  7. 11. With one letter you can change all your gear to read "Bulls" football
  8. gold star. Dion at LG would make us forget Richie quickly. Big, strong, fast and we could use screens again.
  9. Bye Bye Ray Ray Go get a slot/gimmick/pr/kr to be 4th or 5th WR makes sense to me
  10. Shaw as always solid analysis and opinion! You missed your calling laddie! I tend to watch the game and key on the trenches. Our D looked fast and got penetration vs their OLine most of the day. No problem with our front 7 vs NE O Line/TE's. In pass pro, It appeared we had a 2 TE formation over their DE Flowers a few times and he just beat them routinely. And on his only play, Marcus Murphy missed his blitz pickup on 53 and our 35 yr old QB got concussed. Other than those blatant breakdowns the O Line generally gave Anderson time for some downfield throws. When asked to run block, our OL has not demonstrated the ability to run power plays as no push on stay at home blocker and the OGs and C are too slow to pull and get to the end or 2nd level target. Was amazed at how fast Dion Dawkins ran trying to make tackle on the pick 6 - go big fella! Might want to draft an LT in Rd 1 next year and move Dawkins to LG where he would shine.
  11. IMHO putting Shady and Ivory in same backfield then motioning Shady out as a WR would give Defenses fits. Shady had over 80 yds receiving last week and would force teams to stay in a base D to respect the 2 RB look (cue to pass option) or play an extra DB to account for Shady as WR (cue the run play). We get a guy out of the box that's there now. I put Shady in space to take advantage of his skill set and use Ivory as the between the Tackles runner.
  12. If they think they can sign Pryor and play him at KB's spot then you get something for an asset you will not retain next year anyway. Fire Sale and there may be some addition by subtraction given KB's performance and attitude this year.
  13. Eli Manning seen speaking with Tonya Harding in Tony Soprano's Meadowlands body dump yesterday. Coincidence? I think not!
  14. OBD please trade Groy and a 6th to giants for Shepard WR straight up. Now Bills have a slot WR too!
  15. Not against it as OBD must see him as a low risk test drive for rest of year with no commitment for 2019. basically an 8 game prove it deal. Ok with that. Oh I have a PLETHORA of them! ?
  16. I believe he walks through lot on game day several hours before kickoff - just a 5 min stop 3 hrs before kickoff ok by me! As if he cares.
  17. Redskins expected much more in 2017 and he turned down $32mm over 4 years from Browns for a one year $8mm deal from Redskins. So both teams saw him as a #2 WR from a contract offer standpoint
  18. Had one good year 2016. Nothing since. KB numbers are even better - LOL. BTW deduct 5 points for use of "plethora" - sorry it's a pet peeve!
  19. Not saying he might not be more talented but starting WR position hard to integrate into installed offense. His impact here might be minimal this year given results to date of current WR corps who know the offense.
  20. Raiders, Seahawks, Browns, Washington, Jets all passed. Not sure what he brings to Bills. Diva-esque, doesn't block and hasn't done squat the past few years. Speed/size ratio good but unless KB is sent packing don't see him playing anytime soon
  21. Hope Todd gets help fighting his demons. It makes one wonder why Steelers walked away after his fall/scuffle at Pittsburgh bar with wife late last year. Difficult guy to deal with per all reports
