  1. Not a fan of Tillery. Can see OBD taking a smaller quicker 3T in middle rounds.
  2. Now he can play lacrosse again.
  3. The usual New England result. The guy in the #12 Pats Jersey didn't get hit and the refs didn't call anything. Nothing to see, move along folks!
  4. And here you go. A&M plays Alabama and Clemson and he held up well. Tough dude too. https://thedraftnetwork.com/2019/02/01/2019-nfl-draft-player-profile-erik-mccoy/
  5. Here's the link: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001015165/article/threeround-2019-nfl-mock-draft-10-qb-for-patriots-in-round-3 Bills Picks Rds 1-3: Taylor OT, FLA in Rd1, McCoy C/G, Texas A&M in Rd2 Arcega-Whiteside WR, Stanford in Rd3. Taylor is a Junior but fits Athletic freak profile of this regime's Rd1 picks of last year while playing RT a position of need. Is very agile and a strong run blocker. The other two are seniors and highly rated players at positions of need.
  6. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/cap/ yes searles and zo are listed, cuts may add to approx $79mm available now
  7. Interesting background, knew he was Kenmore West and UB grad. Parents survived Auschwitz! Don't necessarily agree with his politics but glad to claim him as part of the Bills Mafia. From Wiki Blitzer was born in Augsburg, Germany,[1][2] the son of Cesia Blitzer (née Zylberfuden), a homemaker, and David Blitzer, a home builder.[2][3][4] His parents were Jewish refugees from the German concentration camp in Oświęcim (Auschwitz) in Nazi-occupied Poland. He was raised in Buffalo, New York, and graduated from Kenmore West Senior High School. He received a Bachelor of Arts in history from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1970. While there, he was a brother of Alpha Epsilon Pi. Pretty sure we are at $80mm now after signing Zo and Searles
  8. I can't do one but my cousin's is hilarious.
  9. yes 111 right across from stop sign at circle, may not have had stop sign when you were here. Our friends live at 82 yes, many days driving home off 90 came up turk hill and by the time i got to Mason rd, different snow amounts etc.
  10. yes we are off mason across from Church of the Resurrection. Love the view from Casa Larga btw! Somedays seems like there is a micro-climate up there
  11. Anyone find it weird that this national sports network calls the next year championship the 2020 Super Bowl. It is the 2019 Super Bowl as the game (though played after 12/31/18) is tied to the season. The 2019 NFL season begins on 3/13 when Free Agency Opens.
  12. And we send Milano to the bench then? He was arguably our best LB last year and doesn't Davis plays Milano's position? Any interest in Davis will likely be based on Milano prognosis / timeline for recovery from break.
  13. Rams 31 Pats 24. Scoop and Score by Rams on Brady Strip/Sack. Pressure up the middle problem all day for Brady. James White has a big day vs Rams LBs. Nickell Robey silences Edelman and Barrow takes care of Gronk. Woods and Cooks go off as Pats try to shut down run and dare Goff to throw.
  14. Believe this DV rule issued in FEB 2016 also kept Tyreek Hill out of Combine in 2016. And he dropped to 5th RD!
  15. We may need some perspective here. I will not do an oped here. https://mississippitoday.org/2018/11/28/jeffery-simmons-a-story-of-redemption/
  16. A new QB Coach Candidate? Just heard this on OBL Murph and Tasker show: Jake Peetz, Offensive Analyst Alabama 2018. Was QB coach for Raiders and was Josh McDaniel's candidate for Colts OC role last year. Colts: 3 things to know about Jake Peetz, who could become offensive ... https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/nfl/colts/.../3...jake-peetz.../1038335001/
  17. Joe Philbin as QB Coach/Passing Game coordinator as was GB OC from 2007-2011 and again last year. Worked with a great QB (Rodgers) when he took over for Favre. Per reports he interviewed with McD in the last month - albeit that was probably for O Line position. Certainly qualified.
  18. I may be in the minority but I say move Teller to RG and Dion Dawkins to LG (as more mobile than Teller). Sign a FA Right Tackle (less expensive than LT) and draft a Left Tackle. As for C, can see them signing one and failing that, drafting one. Glowinski is strictly a RG so contract term and total $$ are less. For Bills, I feel Teller is better option.
  19. Why not? Bills gave up pick 12 in Rd 1 and 2 2nd Rd picks(53 and 56) last year to move up to 7. Did get a late 7th (255) back too.
  20. Like the names but order messed up. Don't see Harry or TE in Rd 1. My guess is they move back to 15 and take Risner or Ford. Then use 2 seconds on WR and TE.
  21. Could see Frazier using a Giants like Nascar pass rush package with Hughes on one end, Rookie DE on other and 2 of Shaq/Murphy/Zo at DT positions. OBD has to consider risk of Jerry or Shaq walking in FA after 2019 and, given Jerry's age, hire a replacement. We could use another edge rusher even if Shaq signs a 5th year option.
  22. Different situations. Zo, at 35, knows he only had 1 year left in him and opted to stay here as a C and team leader. Same D as last 2 years too. Jordan Philips is 26 and looking to get a multi-year deal to set him up for life. Do the Ozzie Newsome thing - tell him to hit FA and bring back his best deal on the street to OBD and then the Bills will decide to match or not. IMHO he won't generate a ton of interest and the 2 sides will meet on common ground here. I doubt we have made any offers to date.
  23. IIRC Bills drafted CB Derrick Burroughs as 2nd pick in 1985 draft. He was very good and he and Odomes were a good tandem. Unfortunately he took a shot from Leonard Smith our SS in a game late in 1988. An xray showed he had acute cervical stenosis and he had to retire. Too bad, was a stud
  24. That is the record. Tony Greene's 37 picks are 2nd.
  25. Odomes was Pro Bowler in '92 and '93 seasons for Bills. Signed to a big FA deal by Seattle and got hurt and never played a down for them in 2 years. He tried to come back in 96 with ATL and couldn't play, starting in 4/7 games played before retiring at end of season. From 1988-1990 the Bills SS Leonard Smith was a hard-hitting SS and really brought it every play. After 1990 season the Bills lacked physicality in the Secondary until 1994 when Matt Darby became the starting FS. It got a little tougher when Kurt Schultz became FS in 1995. IIRC in Giants SB, Kelso was done for year and John Hagy started at FS. Likewise at CB, JD Williams was out so Kirby Jackson played instead. Odomes played CB and Leonard Smith was SS. Kelso played in Redskins SB. Leonard Smith had a knee infection and missed SB XXVI and Dwight Drane played instead. Smith never returned to NFL. For 1992 SB Smith was out replaced at SS by Henry Jones and Kelso played FS. JD Williams and Kirby Jackson split time at one CB position with Odomes at the other. By end of 1993 season, Odomes played last year as a Bill and Mickey Washington and JD Williams platooned at one CB position while Kelso and Jones were FS/SS respectively.
