  1. if he even comes close to his 16 and 17 form this is STEALING. wow
  2. ya. I don't have strong thoughts one way or the other..... just seem like classic underachievers... combination of the both of their flaws I would guess. I do wonder one thing...… when will all these top paid qb's start seeing what their contracts are doing to their teams and subsequently to their legacies? they are smart guys. I would think they could figure it out.
  3. my wife and I did something similar for Halloween this year.....I whored it up as Bell(chest hair and all) and she was The Beast..... we cleaned house at every costume contest we went to over the weekend. came away with like just under $700. ….. I only lasted in the heels about 15 minutes though.
  4. come on, gug.. that was 10 years ago.... are all super bowl winning coaches apparently locked into jobs for life?
  5. I mean.... let’s be honest... with a statement like “in the top 10, I don’t want a small school ever”... that gives you room to have been wrong plenty of times over the years. Not just on Mack.
  6. I have a hard time wrapping my head around watts 39 in 2012. Thats freaking madness
  7. Really good post right here. Especially the bolded. Ive just never seen fans cling to such a stat(pressures) for a player for so many years.
  8. I’ve seen it. Thanks for proving my point. Have a nice day.
  9. There’s a bottom line here that a certain couple posters in this thread need to realize. The elite guys get home consistently year in and year out. PERIOD. Now I’m just bracing for the “pressure” truthers to gang up on me. That stat seriously has a little cult following around here.
  10. And here we go..... this is gold! it was bosa mic’d Up and he was saying it in Jest. It was very clear mills was just being mills and had whiffed on a couple of assignments.
  11. Like Hughes a lot. Good player. Glad we have him.... but I have never seen such a cult following of the “pressures” stat than is on this board to somehow spin that Hughes is elite. Sorry. Just can’t get on board with that. Elite guys routinely get home for double digits year in and year out. ..... now cue the predictable remarks about how I just don’t understand the details of the game.
  12. One of the dumbest..... The peterman gang swearing up and down the bills O-line let the chargers defense tee off on #2 as a statement to the coaches.
  13. Was I imagining things or didn’t crossman get fired earlier in the offseason because he was historically bad.... am I the only one that’s pointed this out so far?
  14. Well the silly part is that he acts as though it kept the bills from doing anything else they wanted to do. They friggin had 80. That’s honestly just really uninformed and stupid.
  15. Somebody would have to have their head in the sand to not see a plan is clear. Whether it works or not is for a different debate. Doesnt it make you wonder how this dude is an Exec? Haha
  16. Exactly. Dude is acting like 5 mil to Nsekhe formed our whole offseason. Makes me question how anyone who would say that is an exec.
  17. I read this yesterday and just chuckled. It’s been so promising because of the fact that there’s a clear plan. That exec seems a bit clueless. The Nsekhe signing was been praised by almost everyone as a great and affordable under the radar signing and this schmuck is acting like it broke our bank. That’s foolish
  18. fair enough..... I'll admit I have a hard time giving him the benefit of the doubt. I think we could probably all understand why.
  19. well ya..... but it wasn't overlooked. they went out and signed cole Beasley. that's not exactly overlooking the short game. how would somebody deduce that they are overlooking the short/intermediate game when they just went out gave somebody a good chunk a change that happens to use that as his bread n' butter? the OP saying its been overlooked is another fabrication we can just stack onto the pile for him.
  20. i agree its slightly concerning but the way i look at it is we already had problems with drops, at least now we have a dude that can reward our young qb by making a play on those "area code" throws.... i'll admit i already posted this clip in this thread the day he was signed..... but i don't mind watching again!
  21. I think we have all heard of “The boy that cried wolf”... if i remember correctly nobody cared squat about anything he had to say, even if it may have been accurate, because he showed he was capable of being a lying jack wagon beforehand.
  22. I see your point. I would just say that very good for that amount of time equates to great.
  23. Again. You are weighing shorter term dominance more than consistency. I think they both have merit. 1350 scrimmage yds a year over 14 seasons while never having a HUGE year says to me the dude was consistently very good while not having just a couple years inflate his averages. 6-8 years of that may not be enough. But 12+? Ya. I’m good with it. And fwiw, which isn’t much, IMO in his prime he was a top 4-6 overall back in the nfl for a 3-5 year stretch when you factor in his receiving skills. Again. That alone isn’t enough but you add in all the other nice years and he’s in there IMO.
  24. Right. IMO it’s silly to talk about any connection between the 2 until foster got called back up and Allen came back post injury. They were both developing rookies and, quite obviously, very different players down the stretch run...... but that doesn’t fit his narrative. That about sums it up.
