  1. to put opposite of foster.... and explain to me again how allen being in the pocket and barely running around on all 3 tds is "extending plays a ridiculous amount of time"..... this is something plenty of qb's do. stop making things up to fit your argument. its silly. remind me again when jones ever averaged 70+ yds a game over a 6 game stretch?
  2. This is completely false. All 3 of fosters tds came within seconds of Allen dropping back and staying in the pocket. Foster got open when he needed to on each one. Also he had 200 more yds than graham ever did and did it while Missing 3 games. Good grief.
  3. Being in a dome last year in Indy totally sucked. I want absolutely no part of that. I wasn’t sure how i’d feel about my first dome experience. My wife and I went into it sort of excited and both agreed the gameday experience totally faded as we walked further into the climate control. Neither of us walked away impressed. and let’s be real here.... winning will guarantee more sellouts than a dome ever would. I attend 3-5 home games a year and I know that number would most definitely drop for me going forward in a downtown dome. I know myself personally, and the group I usually head up with want no part of a dome at any point of the year. Absolutely love a sharp cold day at the Ralph.
  4. The comical part is he thinks the jokes on US.
  5. I don’t think many will be surprised if foster is on the team and jones isn’t. One of them actually at least did something well, even if it was just go deep, last year that led to very nice production down the stretch. The others claim to fame all year was helping KB line up in the right spot every week. Whats funny is you act like alpha is the one that’s missing something here. How about stop being married to your wr “roles” argument and realize they may just keep the best ball players. Fosters performance after being called back up was a way better stretch than any Jones has ever had. I’d be confident wagering the opening day lineup features brown and foster on either side with Beasley in the slot.
  6. i'll say it because he wont...…. HE COULDNT EVEN CRACK THE ACTIVE ROSTER!!! our #1 wr through midseason couldn't even crack a playoff squads top 5 wr's. let that soak in people!!!
  7. bro..... holmes and Benjamin were part of our top 3 wr's the first half of the season. holmes got claimed by the broncos and promptly got cut. KB couldn't freaking crack the top 5 in KC by the end of the year. a healthy scratch.... THESE WERE SOME OF ALLENS PRIMARY WEAPONS FOR OVER A HALF A SEASON. they cant even hang on to spots on other teams rosters. you need to stop. its embarrassing.
  8. the data AND astute observation shows me a larger more athletic qb was routinely getting bum rushed behind one of the worst lines in football while waiting for one of the worst supporting casts in football to try and get open. SMH.
  9. I hear one of the rule changes put up for a vote at the owners meeting was to make td's outside the redzone worth only 4 pts. THANKFULLY for allen it didn't pass. he would have been friggin' SCREWED!
  10. point being, not wanting a dome downtown doesn't just make somebody automatically resistant to change. how about some context people? its a lazy accusation from a few around here today.
  11. this has to win the award as the dumbest statement of the day. am I right, people?
  12. how about we keep in mind that wentz also had a probowler at center and LT as well..... your statements "look good on the surface"
  13. has to be that they are resistant to change?.... couldn't be that maybe they just have a personal preference to having their gameday outside. ive been in a domed stadium. it sucked. that's why I don't want one. if you don't mind i'll go ahead and resist something that took away from my purchased gameday experience.
  14. its because it differs from all other stadiums. believe it or not quite a few people enjoy the fact that its one of the few stadiums not in a downtown area. it has a very different feel to it.
  15. i'm 33. what are we considering older? the indoor experience sucked compared to being outside. winning would cure the December attendance issues fairly easily. and the bolded just sounds pathetic to me..... some gameday experience that would be!
  16. I was in indy this year. I wasn't sure how I would feel about it until I got in there..... I hated it. it was a beautiful, brisk, sunny day in the low to mid 40's on the walk up the stadium and then you lose it all as you walk into the controlled climate. I was actually surprised how much I didn't like it. and my wife, who cant stand the cold, wasn't all that impressed either. being inside just didn't real right. didn't feel like a gameday.
  17. ESPN article grading FA up to this point. Bills one of 7 teams to get a top grade of "near perfection". http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/26357506/2019-nfl-free-agency-ratings-most-impactful-moves-all-32-teams Buffalo Bills Most impactful move: The Bills made former Chiefs center Mitch Morse the highest paid in the NFL at his position, signing him to a four-year deal that averages $11.1 million per season. He is expected to anchor an offensive line that could have as many as four new starters in 2019 under new O-line coach Bobby Johnson. Buffalo is hoping its offensive line can protect quarterback Josh Allen better in his second season while paving the way for a revival of running back LeSean McCoy's career. -- Mike Rodak Key additions: Mitch Morse, center; John Brown, wide receiver; Cole Beasley, wide receiver Key subtractions: John Miller, guard
  18. …… was there any ranch dressing involved?
  19. Right? the crew of good morning football routinely talks about how they wont go for the easy insults of teams like Cleveland or buffalo because its just really basic/low hanging fruit. move on AB.... I already got a new boo!
  20. they literally think every next player they draft is gonna be fitted for a gold jacket. its sickening.... i'm serious when I tell you all I hear around here is how they'll be just fine when ben retires. they are basically already fitting Rudolph for the gold blazer. they have no concept of how low the odds are that you can keep the qb play at a HOF level. … and ya. I've heard everyone talking about Washington as well. like they wont skip a beat. they hit on Schuster that round so now they just assume any 2nd round player they get will be on that level going forward. very self absorbed fan base. its awful.
  21. Agree 100%. Living just south of Erie, pa I’m right on the outskirts of “Stiller” country. I actually respect the franchise. But the fans act as though they themselves and the franchise are doing all of us and the league a favor by gracing us with their presence. Its hilarious to talk to them at this point during the state of their franchise. The majority think Rudolph will just step right in and never miss a beat when the time comes. As if finding a franchise qb is just a given. Also thinking they’ll obviously be better off without elite players like bell and brown. The list goes on and on.... I CANNOT WAIT for bens departure and what will be a very sharp and quick demise soon after. I have a special corner of hatred in my heart for them. It sits right next door to the pats corner I have in there.
  22. So let me get this straight here.... you realize it’s a really flawed and, IMO, silly comparison but still choose to feel that way? Also I would argue you need to stop merely citing the recent qb trends as reason why we need to view the qb as playoffs or bust. How about we quit referencing the exception to the rule. I would argue history says qb’s, as a general rule, are gonna take more than just a year to be playoff ready. You seem to be approaching all this from a really shortsighted viewpoint.
  23. I personally wear my stuff as a badge of honor. I live just south of Erie, pa in the tri-state area and us bills and Browns fans always have a mutual respect for one another while all hating the “Stiller’s”.... takes a true fan to still rock the gear after the last 2 decades for those teams.
  24. brown. I posted his part in his thread.
