  1. I think you are drastically underrating the value of consistency. He’s had seven 1,100 yd rushing seasons. He may get to 100 td. Made 5 pro bowls. He’s always been a catcher out of the backfield. The guy is 5th all time in scrimmage yds. And will most likely end up 4th at the end of the year. And just for some context.... Thurman averaged just over 1,200 scrimmage yds a season over his 13 years. Gore has averaged over 1,300 a season over 14 years now. He’s had 5 different 40+ catch seasons. IMO you are seriously undervaluing his production. I get it. You weigh shorter spans of pure dominance more over consistently. But I think both have serious merit. Gore wasnt just consistently solid his whole career. I would argue he was consistently really good(not great) for longer than almost any other back there’s been. I’ll wager its not IF he gets in, but just WHEN.
  2. That’s exactly what they are. Long ass posts with no real content. Made up jibberish. Cant take somebody seriously that actually is dumb enough to flat out make up numbers and isn’t smart enough that it takes 5 seconds for everyone to look it up and find out its a complete fabrication.... probably worked a lot better for him in the dial up days.
  3. I’m also gonna quote more false numbers posted by @TaskersGhost so this can really sink in for him. I honestly think maybe if he really sees what he’s doing it might sink in. I wanna help the dude. Somethings not firing right. It’s intervention time
  4. I already did the homework. It takes 2 seconds to look up his game logs and figure it out. You state he played with 2 other qb’s in 4 different games and averaged over 80 ypg in those games. That’s 100% fabricated. He played with peterman and Barkley for a total of 2 games and had 105 total yds. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/F/FostRo01/gamelog/2018/ you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about and there’s about a full page of people stating that one or 2 pages back.... it was when you conveniently disappeared right after we said you were making numbers up.
  5. i absolutely love that play. what gets lost is that it was a drive extender on 3rd down and it wasn't some 5'10 db that most rb's are hurdling. Barr is freaking 6'5 and was failry upright. THATS INSANE. …… now with that that being said. the play never should have beat out the Miami play to push them over the pats.... and it most definitely shouldn't beat out henrys run.
  6. His numbers are staggering really. A massive 235 lb dual threat back that ran for 1000 eight years in a row and retired 20th all time in scrimmage yds amongst ALL players at over 15,000. Poor guy saw the playoffs his rookie year and then never again until he was a fringe player on the pats his final year. I agree. I had posted about him earlier. The poor dude didn’t even get a pro bowl nod when he ran for 1500 one year. Haha
  7. i'm fairly certain in another thread he said allens weapons in the passing game last year were slightly better than wentz rookie year when he had ertz, a young Matthews and sproles popping out of the backfield...
  8. It’s not surprising. I would have guessed 6.5-7.5 as their line.
  9. it doesn't get any better for him stating that foster played 4 games with other qb's…. he played a half with Peterman and a game with barkley. THATS IT. i think what he does is post lonngggg well worded blatherings with made up facts and hopes that people just assume his numbers are correct because he made a longer post detailing it. he could spend less time on his word content and spend more time on his research and offer 100X more to a discussion
  10. I know don't how to break this to you but you are completely 100% wrong here. please go look at box scores and the qb's he played with. wherever you are getting your info is false. and the irony of the ignorance comment to boot... LOL. thank you... @TaskersGhost is forming arguments off false numbers. if he's doing it with foster, I would assume he's doing it elsewhere.... its all just a bunch of made up hot air. what a blowhard.
  11. I totally disagree on okoye. Dude attained what seem to be mythical status through the 90’s and had only two 1,000 yd seasons out of his 6 years in the nfl.
  12. Uhhh. What thread are you talking about? This is most UNDERRATED. Brown and OJ Simpson havnt been mentioned at all.
  13. If I were you I would conveniently gloss over the fact I was making up false facts about wr/qb production to fit an awful argument as well. Good talk, bruh.
  14. Uh.... 4 of those 5 are in the hall. I’d say they got their due. Haha. i mean you aren’t gonna get a ton of discussion in general now days about HOF’rs from the 60’s and early 70’s.
  15. Edge James finished his career in the top ten all time when he retired. Corey Dillion ran for over 11,000 yds but most of his prime hidden away on awful cincy teams. And has their ever been a more underrated back than Fred Taylor? Guy had 7 different 1,100 yd+ rushing seasons and only was voted into the pro bowl ONCE. He ran for 1500 one year and didn’t even get the nod. Hard not to put Steven Jackson in there as well. Honorable mentions... Rodney Hampton only played 8 years in the 90’s but had 5 straight 1000 yd seasons. And Brian Westbrook had over 10,000 scrimmage yds and 71 td in only 9 season.
  16. I agree. that's how I've been the whole time.... I just find it very silly to act like we know one way or the other how these high qb picks are gonna fair. if somebody has watched enough ball they learn that's a losing affair.... no worries though man. i'm just busting balls
  17. oh. ya..... that's just factually 100% wrong. dude is a character.
  18. some of you should be ashamed and embarrassed. geez.
  19. well I think he was actually referencing barkley, not Peterman. but either way its a poor attempt and 100% WRONG. haha.
  20. "didn't want josh allen" is putting it lightly.... you basically ranted and raved that you "knew" it was an awful move.
  21. the bolded is why I cant take you that seriously. its completely false. I mean I even double checked the box scores. its false. 100%.... and are you really referencing a one game sample size for barkley? and then you say "foster particularly"? foster had numerous games with allen that were better than any he had with Anderson or barkley…. how can you not feel dirty when you spout trash like this. it completely false. your lack of awareness of how bad the team was up front and around him is alarming. oh..... and I don't suppose it makes any sense that allen happened to have to MAKE time to throw because he was running for his life.... I love how you try and spin that like we had good pass pro. that's freaking joke man.... again, I don't know how you don't feel dirty when you type crap like this. basically when I said I agree with some of what you say I meant allen needs to get better and he's not blame free.... but your thoughts on this topic in particular are downright foolish.
  22. And I would put a solid wager on it being much shorter that about 80% of the other teams contested reels as well.
  23. How is one supposed to play “team ball” with an awful offensive line, absolutely no freaking run game, and extremely underwhelming talent around him? Those last 6 games, Allen was polishing that turd of an offense as best as he could given the circumstances. He was a one man offense out of NECESSITY. it’s troubling to me that you can’t really see that. The thing is.... I agree with a lot of what you say but your comments about his supporting cast through this thread have been so crazy bad. That’s just hard to get passed for me. There’s a montage of timely drops that goes through my head when he comes to mind.... add one that went through his hands for a pick in the endzone in the 17 opener vs the jets. Or the pathetic drop he had up in foxboro the play before the KB “no catch” .... turns out that Miami drop may have been the most impactful play he’s ever “made” for us. Saved us 9 draft slots if I’m not mistaken. if i went digging for a brief spell I’m sure I could find plenty more examples for clay. Allen was a one man show because he had to be. Anyone that couldn’t see that needs to find another sport watch for sure.
  24. Not to mention our #1 option for over half a year, KB, couldn’t even crack the roster in KC. He was a healthy scratch by the end of the season if I’m not mistaken. I also remember him promptly dropping a td from mahomes right in his hands the first or 2nd week he was there when they actually were still silly enough to let him play.
  25. go watch highlights of an old DeAngelo Williams, a young james conner and a rookie jaylan samuels producing similar results behind an elite offensive line over the last 4-5 years and you'll have your answer.
